Sneaky Peeky #2 and Sketch 9

Hello Again!
I'm back with a second day of sneak peeks for The Greeting Farm, as well as sketch #9 for the 12 days of sketches!
This is another adorable Sprout styled by the fun and creative Amy Young. Her name is Ruby but she looks so much like...Miss Pilsbury from Glee. :) It was all I could do not to give her red hair but I had to resist because I had just styled Chelsea yesterday as a redhead! And I've also used the new sentiment set TALK LOUD for this card. It's very cool!
Are you totally getting excited about January's releases?? I know I am!!! Just wait, there's more! Stop by tomorrow! Until then check out the rest of the DT's blogs to get the full Ruby experience! Don't forget that both Club Anya and TGF have previews for you this week! AND be sure to stop by and congratulate the new Farmers MARY, RANDI and MELYSSA!

Sneaky Sketch #8

Happy Monday, indeed!
Did you have a fantastic Christmas? I'm visiting my in-laws and certain to be having a wonderful time (love that auto-post) and I'm sneakin' one in on you! A sneak peek that is...of this cutie Sprout named Chelsea that will be released on January 1 at The Greeting Farm! Yipee!
Do you recognize her? That's right, she's one of Amy Young's ADORABLE Sprout designs from the Design My Sprout contest a few months ago. Yay Amy!! There are 4 sprouts in this month's collection and they will be showcased this week by the entire TGF team (Club Anya and the Farmers)! Also being previewed today is the sentiment set TALK LOUD (look for it on my card tomorrow...silly me). This awesome sentiment set has super fun phrases that are sure to make your cards pop! Something else I used for my card today was today's sketch in the 12 days of sketches. I designed this card as an encouragement for when life gets too busy (or noisy!) or to give to someone who needs a good break from it all.
If you like this sneak you might want to stop by tomorrow for another one!! Also, there's a few new Farmers on the Farm!! Yipee!! Welcome (back) Mary, Randi and Melyssa! Be sure to stop by the TGF blog and give them a warm welcome!!

Today is Christmas Eve! Time certainly flies! I mean just yesterday felt like the Eve of Christmas Eve...oh wait, haha!!
I know I should be posting a Christmas Card today but today is also the last Farm Fresh Friday of 2009 and I really wanted to use this adorable Toby image to celebrate. This image is still available on the TGF as a free gift to you from artist Marina Neira; check it out!
Today is not only FFF but also sketch #6 in our 12 days of sketches. This one is designed by my fellow farmer, Cindy Haffner!

Merry Christmas

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
I guess it's the Eve of Christmas Eve, right? Oh the anticipation!
Today is my last day of work before the holiday and it's tradition that us girls in the office exchange gifts. All of the ladies I work with know that I make cards and have been huge supporters of mine since I started this blog, often asking, "do you have a card today?" So of course I had to come up with a little something something for them to says thanks and Merry Christmas. Anyway, just something simple and I thought I'd share a pic.
I"ll be continuing with the 12 sketches tomorrow, so please stop back for that. Until then, have a wonderful day!

On the 4th Day of Sketches

Hello Again! I'm back as promised and this time with sketch #4! I really wanted to do "I'll be home for Christmas" with Travel Anya but I've seen sooooo many cute cards already with that theme, I just didn't think mine could compare to that creativity! (maybe another time)
So, something else Anya does is travel to visit her friendys!! I'm looking forward to getting on a plane and visiting some of my dear friends some time in the foreseeable future!
I used another awesome sketch (#4) designed by Mercy for the 12 days of sketches at TGF. I hope you like it!

On the 3rd Day of Sketches

Good Morning, Friends!
Did you have a good weekend? Are you looking forward to a short week? I know I am! I'm so looking forward to Christmas and spending good time with family!
But in the meantime I'm having a lot of fun with the TGF 12 days of Sketches and I hope you are too!
I'm back today using the Reading Fairy for Sketch #3, provided by our dear Mercy Kerin! I've had this image colored up forever but was just waiting for the perfect square layout to use it on and these TGF sketches are really helping to get my mojo flowing!
I hope you're having fun with them too and I'll see you again tomorrow! Oh before I forget, there's a HUGE announcement over at the Club Anya blog that you will not want to miss!

12 days of SKETCHES!! How exciting is this?!?! Today's FFF kicks off the first day of the 12 days of Christmas/New Years--Sketchy Style! Sketch number 1 is brought to us by the Lovely Cindy Haffner!
With the exception of Sundays and Christmas Day, TGF will be indulging your stamping addiction with TWELVE awesome sketches. Each day that a different sketch is posted, you can also find a place to upload them in the TGF GALLERIA. Look for Sketch 1 in the galleria today. The 12th Sketch will be revealed on NEW YEAR's DAY with a HUGE all-day CELEBRATION (perhaps TGF's biggest)!

In addition, ANYONE who completes ALL TWELVE sketches (you will have until Sunday 1/3/10 at 8pm CST to complete them and upload them to the appropriate galleries) will be entered into a drawing to win the ENTIRE TGF JANUARY RELEASE!!!

Canine Couture

***PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE MY BUSY BEAUTIES CARD FOR TODAY***

I have something special for you today! I was asked by a couple dear friendys of mine to participate in Canine Couture 2009! LOL. For the record, I don't take great joy in dressing my dog, Winston (I don't judge those who do though!) but he really won't go outside in the winter without a fleece or something so it really is out of my hands. And since he willingingly sports those duds, I figured that he wouldn't mind a little holiday attire either.
So here is Jingledog!

And here's the EARS!! They seem to have a personality of their own sometimes!

Naked and free riding in the car

And Winston as a puppy, wearing a hand-me-down polo shirt from his friend, Walter

Have you been up to something, Winston?

Winston is a 1.5 year old Italian Greyhound and hopefully he'll be getting a sister to join his pack soon...a canine sister. :)

Check out the other pups in Canine Couture 2009 (if you're hoppin' your next stop is Rockstar)
Buddy
Charlie
Rockstar
Oliver and Lola

To Warm Your Heart

Good Morning, Friends!
Christmas Eve is a week away, can you believe it? Time seems to go by so quickly!
I have another Busy Beauties card for you today and for this one I used Gingerbread Boy, or as I affectionately call him...Gingie. :) Did you know that people used to make gingerbread cookies and then hang them on their Christmas trees? One year my aunt and I did that and it was a good thing we used those cookies as ornaments because the molasses made them as hard as rocks! What a fun memory. Did you see the White House's Gingerbread house this year? AMAZING! Complete with Bo! Which reminds me...dogs...stop by again today for a second post...
I hope you like this card. I am having SO much fun with the Busy Beauties Digis...and Carolyn snuck a few more into the store this week, so be sure to check them out! Have a wonderful Thursday and I'll see you back here tomorrow for FFF (it's going to be an EXCITING one)!!

Simply Squared

Good Morning!
It's another Fabulous Friday and that means another Farm Fresh Friday at the Greeting Farm too! Today's FFF challenge is to KISS your card. :) Got that? Okay, go on, kiss it...okay, I mean K.I.S.S. it, as in Keep It Simply Shaped. That means NO nesties, NO die cuts, NO punches...
no cuttlebug? not sure on that one...Go check out the TGF blog for ALL the details and I hope you'll have as much fun making your card as I did with mine!
For my card I used ONLY my paper trimmer and my scissors and cut everything into squares. It wasn't much different than my other cards...I tend to use this linear pattern quite often. :) I also wanted to make sure I incorporated Christmas because I've just been feelin' that mood for the last few weeks! So I grabbed this Sweet Messages stamp, colored him up in Christmas red and green and gave him a scarf too! Instead of spying a bird in the air to chase after, he's noticing a present falling from the sky! Wahoo! I keep looking up in case one is falling from the sky for me too, but alas, none yet. Haha. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy working on your FFF cards! Also, don't forget about the Club Anya Holiday Blog Hop on Monday!! See ya there!

Deets:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm Sweet Messages, SU sentiment, present, scarf
Paper: The Greeting Farm Merry Merry, Red Ridinghood

What's Cooking?

Helloooooo!
Wanna know's "what's cookin"? I've been meaning to tell you...
A few month's back my dear Dear friend and personal inspiration, Carolyn Bounds opened her own digi stamp company called the Busy Beauties Boutique. I was so SO excited for her in this endeavor and thrilled also that some more of my dear Dear Friendys had joined her design team. And now I'm ecstatic to announce that Carolyn has asked me and my sweet friend and stamping sister, Michelle to join the team as well! It's so exciting for me to see how God put us all on SCS together once upon a time and blessed us greatly with friendships...and continually blesses us and allows us to be a part of each other's lives and passions.
Thank you for having me, Carolyn, but most of all thank you for your friendship!
Here is a card I made using one of Carolyn's December stamps (I couldn't have an anouncement with out a card)!
There are SO many super cute digi stamps in her store and there are more to come in January!! Yipee! Check out what's in the Busy Beauties Shop right now! And how generous is this, Carolyn said you all can have this digi for free!! You Rock, Carolyn! Just grab it off this post! AWESOME!

Workin' Workin'

Hi Friends!!
Happy Monday! I'm sorry I'm late on my post this morning (needed to take a picture). I had a wonderful weekend...I got to chillax in my pj's a lot and DH went out to forage for food! Saturday night we snuggled up on the couch (Winston too) and watched 'White Christmas.' I LOVE that movie!
"Sisters...sisters...there were never such devoted sisters..." It's not hard to get those tunes stuck in my head. Alas, I didn't get to work on any Christmas cards this weekend but I did get to work on a few things! (stay tuned)
My card for today uses another new TGF stamp designed by Elizabeth. It's called Library Mouse. After coloring up this image and getting my card together I was trying to think of what sentiment would go well with him...and then I started thinking about studying...and college...and workin' hard...and then it came to me; an encouragement card! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and I'll see you back here tomorrow. I wanted to say a special thank you to those of you who have entered my blog candy. You comments blessed me SO much last week. Big Hugs!

Christmas Blessings

Good Morning!
I can feel Christmas in the air! I didn't think I was excited before...my DH and I have talked about how things change a bit when you're an adult and still don't have kids. Christmas is just a little bit different and sometimes it's hard to get in the Christmasy mood. But I'm in it! Wahoo! I still don't think I'll put up the tree this year because we'll be out of town so much, but I'm definitely in the mood for making cards and wrapping gifts. Hopefully this mojo will stick with me so I can get the vast number of cards done that I want to!
Speaking of cards and Christmas and BLESSINGS...today's card is for a dear dear friend of mine who is my secret sister! This card was made especially for her, to send along with her secret sister gift! I can't wait for Jeanette, I mean Carol, I mean Paola, I mean Karen or was it Catherine or Kelly (???) to get this card in the mail! Yipee!!!!!! I love Christmas!
