TGF Cares

Hi Friends!
It's TGF RELEASE DAY today--and that's no April fools joke! :) All of the SWEET previews that you've been spying this week on the TGF and CA&F blogs are now in the store~ and that includes:
'Get Well' by Marina Neira, Stamping Anya, Wild Sprouts Eric and Dee Dee, and Oliver & Amelia 'Buddies'! Hooray! Can you stand the cuteness?
My card today, for your viewing pleasure, features Oliver from the 'Buddies' set. I'm so excited to have a puppy stamp now!!! AND the O&A stamps are so much fun to color!!
Be sure to stop by all the DT blogs for more inspiration!

Today we are also excited and honored to announce the 1st "TGF Cares" Charity Card Drive. This is something that TGF has been wanting to do for a long time, and now it's finally coming together for a really great cause that is dear to many of our hearts. A few years ago, Jessica was introduced to a family who was only a few weeks away from losing their two-year old daughter. Even through this terrible tragedy, the family couldn't say enough about how wonderful the Ronald McDonald House had been to them. (Please see Jessica's blog for more on this touching story and how TGF customers can help put a smile on the faces of many who are in need of them!)

There are so many sick children whose families do everything short of moving mountains for these kids to help them get well. Not only is it important to lift the spirits of these courageous children, but also the families-the parents, siblings, and other relatives-during all of the emotional ups and downs of a child's fight for life.

TGF is proud and honored to be collecting cards that will go to the RMH and the Fairview Children's Hospital in/near Minneapolis. Cards will be given to the children, as well as parents and siblings of these petite patients, to encourage them during the long and brave journeys of theirs. Be sure to stop by the TGF BLOG today for complete details on this special contest and see how you can get involved.

***THIS JUST IN~~(I'm adding this at the bottom because I don't want to take away from the important TGF Cares message)
TGF is featured in this month's edition of ScrapStreet Online Magazine!!! And...I have to grin a little from ear to ear because it's my first time being published, and what an honor for it to be because of and along side my TGF family!! Thank you Marie and Jess, from the bottom of my heart! EEEEEEK!

This is my first Easter card! I have been itching to use all the fabulous Sweet November stamps that I just couldn't resist snatching up from All that Scraps. The SNS are designed by the fabulous Amy Young, who inspires me daily with the cutest layouts and funtastic card ideas!
So for this card I've used Baby Bunnies Tulip and paired him with a cute little frog from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, as well as this fun Be Loved paper from My Mind's Eye! And as promised, I've used my Martha Stewart grass punch too!!
This was such a fun card to make!

Celebrate Today

Hi Friends!
Wow, I'm really overwhelmed with the response to my blog candy ( HERE ) so far! I wanted to thank everyone so much for your kind comments! I wish I could give the prize to every single person! Alas, we will wait to see who is the grand prize winner (AND two runners up!) on April 22.

My card for you today is for a very dear dear friend of mine. She is SO beautiful inside and out and such a Blessing to everyone she meets! I celebrate her friendship and her life every day...but especially on the day she was born...I can't say who it is because there has to be some element of surprise for her, right? :)

For this special card, I've used Wild Sprout Camille from The Greeting Farm. I thought it would be super fun to add some butterfly wings to Camille, as she flutters around spreading cheer! I also got to use my new Martha Stewart Grass punch (you'll be seeing that again real soon)! There are SO many toys out there to play with right now...if only I had a money tree!

Tomorrow I will have an Easter Card for you, but until then I hope you have a FABULOUS Monday!

TGF Sneakie Peek

It's Friday, it's Friday, it's FRIDAY!
Yipee!!!! I don't know about you, but this week just FLEW by!
AND since it's Friday, that means it's time for a Farm Fresh Friday Challenge again with The Greeting Farm!!
Today is an extra special FFF because the DT gets to show you a sneak peek of Marina Neira's new "Get Well" set that will be released on April 1st (I'm not foolin you:) !
There are two cutie images and two sweet sentiments in this set. I didn't think I had any "get well" stamps, besides sentiments, so I was very excited to see that this set was coming out! Now I can wish everyone Well! :)
The Farm Fresh Friday challenge today is a COLOR challenge. And I LOVE this combo! I flipped through my stash of My Mind's Eye paper and found this nearly perfect match! Yay! I love it when that happens!

I hope you'll play along with us this week. And be sure to check out the SNEAK PEEKS that CLUB ANYA and FRIENDS have coming up for you too!
Have a great weekend!

Spring is Here

BLOG CANDY posted HERE

Good Morning!
I'm so excited to show you my card for today! Spring is showing itself a bit here in Seattle with little blossoms popping up all over and the rain making an appearance (when doesn't it make an appearance!) to help the new life grow. I can even see bit of green foliage on my little hydrangea that I planted last year! This is a true bit of excitement for me because I don't usually have a good record in aiding my plants to have a long, abundant life. :)

SO, with that said...all of this Spring and Water and New Life reminded me of Water Lily Beauty from the Busy Beauties Boutique and I just HAD to whip up a card using her! Water Lily Beauty is one of the new stamps for March and I really love how she has a 20's charm to her, as well as being a beautiful water nymph! You can check out the rest of the March releases and what's currently in stock at the BBB HERE!

I also was inspired by two challenges for this card. I tried to go with the AWESOME layout for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge 66 this week. I loved the simplicity of this layout and thought it was perfect for using a larger panel for my image.
The second challenge that I thought this card might fit into since it celebrates Spring and "winged things" is the Chapter 5, Oh Alice Challenge. Chapter 5 is about the Caterpillar and we all know that caterpillars metamorphose into beautiful butterflies...so even though Water Lily is most likely a fairie...today she is a beautifully transformed butterfly!

I hope you'll go and check out these awesome challenges and be inspired by all of the amazing examples!
Tomorrow I'll be back with another Farm Fresh Friday, so be sure to check back. Until then, don't forget to sign up for my BLOG CANDY!

Just for You

BLOG CANDY posted HERE

Hello Friends! How is your Tuesday going? It's a beautiful day here in Seattle...and I always like Tuesdays because I get to look forward to another confusing/exciting episode of Lost (only 9 more episodes left!).

For my card today I wanted to showcase Wild Sprout Ebony. I used her for my "Down the Rabbit Hole" card a couple weeks ago, but I was just itching to use her again and pair her with some fun papers. Speaking of papers...I'm giving away some, so be sure to check out the above link!
Many of you mentioned in your comments yesterday that Basic Grey is one of your fave paper companies, well it's one of mine as well! I think I have a little sample of every paper line and I know I have ALL of the buttons...my name is Kadie and I'm addicted to BUTTONS! :)
So for this card I wanted to pair Ebony and BG Junebug and when I started flipping through the papers I kept thinking...Spanish Fiesta...and wanted to make it look like Miss Ebony was ready to party! To add to the "party" look there's a lot of Spica sparkle on the card that I wish you could see...alas, the camera does not pick up Spica very well.
You may have noticed too that she's not sporting her usual skull t-shirt. While I do love it when she wears this shirt and think it adds to her spunky personality, I didn't feel it went with the Junebug papers as nicely and wiped it off for this special occasion.
That's one of the many things that I love about The Greeting Farm stamps...they are so versatile...you can mix and match and swap heads and bodies and alter galore because they are all nearly the same size!
That's all for me today! I hope to see you back here tomorrow! Stay tuned...until then check out my blog candy!

Deets:
Stamps:
The Greeting Farm, Wild Sprout Ebony
Paper: Basic Grey Junebug, Crushed Curry, Cosmo Cricket sentiment

Hello and Happy Friday, Friends!

I'm back with another Fabulous Farm Fresh Friday! This week's challenge over at The Greeting Farm is a sketch challenge, provided by Farmer Mary and it's a fun one!

For my card today I've used Amelia from the Oliver and Amelia "Happy Day" set. I just LOVE these cuties and was on pins and needles waiting to get mine in the mail! And it was just as I suspected; they are SO MUCH FUN to color up!

I hope you'll play in this week's challenge!
Be sure to stop in on Monday because I will be posting some CANDY (the last item up for grabs finally came in)!! :) Have a great weekend!

Young At Heart

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I'm sorry I don't have a festive card for the occasion, although I do enjoy this "holiday" a great deal...especially when people wear those glittery headbands with the shamrocks bouncing about on springs (love that!).

My card for today may have been more appropriate for last month's festivities, but I just couldn't resist; the moment I saw this adorable TGF Darling sister I knew I had to pair her up with the Cosmo Cricket Chemistry paper...it's all about the HEARTS!! I played around with my layout a bit until I ended up doing something a bit more eclectic (which I love) but then I'm sad to say, I covered up a lot of the hearts! Ah, well. I have to admit that I love that this Darling sister is holding a string of paper hearts...it's so sweet!!
To check out the Darling Sisters and the rest of the March stamps from The Greeting Farm, you'll find the store HERE.

Hope you have a Shamrock Shakin' Day!

Oh Happy Day!

They say it's your birthday (da na na na na) We're gonna have a good time (da na na na na)!
Hello, and Happy Friday! Today it's a birthday celebration over at The Greeting Farm...and in honor of our beloved leader and TGF owner Marie turning 30, this Farm Fresh Friday Challenge is to make Birthday cards!
For my card I've used Oliver from the new Oliver and Amelia set. I also tried something super fun by adding candy! I was trying to figure out what kind of candy would be small enough and colorful to fill this little heart window and finally decided on Nerds. I can't remember the last time I bought or ate (yes, I had to try a few!) Nerds. And when I went to the store to buy them the only package they had was rainbow, which turned out to be neon rainbow colors...so I picked out all the orange Nerds to match this card. :) Since my nephew is turning 6 next week I thought this card would be perfect for him!
I hope you decide to play along with us over on the TGF blog! And be sure to check out the awesome samples from the rest of the DT gang! Have a GREAT weekend!
