Customer Blog Hop!

Hello and Welcome to Claudia and Company's first ever Customer Blog Hop!
We’re so excited to have you join us!
Today Claudia and Company is celebrating all of US; their dear friends and customers. And that includes YOU!

If you’ve just joined the fun, be sure to pop over to the Claudia and Company Blog to start the hop and get all the deets!

For my hop card, I've used an image called Easter Basket by John Grutta; Claudia and Company's newest designer. I've also matched this image with fun and cheerful My Minds Eye papers from the Fine and Dandy line. I just LOVE those colors and paired with this image makes for a fun Easter, Spring, or maybe even Mom's Day card! This image and all of the other sweet stamps you see today, can be found HERE in the store.

Now, back to the hop! Be sure and leave a comment on each of today’s fabulous posts, to be eligible for the prizes that are up for grabs! You'll have until Monday, February 28, 12pm EST to comment. Winners will be announced on March 1, during their Release Day Showcase.

Here is the complete list of stops on the Hop! Thanks for joining us and happy hopping!

Happy & Carefree

Hello, Friends!
Happy Tuesday!! It's CHALLENGE DAY over at Claudia & Company; and I've been having a blast these last few weeks being a guest with the Paper Crafting Team!

Today the challenge is a RECIPE challenge! You are to use
1 Tag + 1 Sticker + Buttons + Ribbon. And the paper craft team had this nifty coin envelope to play with also, so I incorporated that into my card too. I decided that since I had the cute coin envelope, but still wanted to follow the "recipe" and use a tag, that I would create a hidden element. As you can see below, Puddle Jumper Charlotte pops out of my card to reveal herself as a bookmark!

All of the items used for my card can be found HERE in the Claudia and Company Store. And we'd LOVE it if you'd play along with us this week. To check out all the details and see some more pieces of inspiration from the Paper Craft Team, check out today's challenge post! Have a great day!! :)

Items used on my card:
Stamps: Puddle Jumper Charlotte
Patterned Paper: American Crafts City Park
Embellishments: Buttons: Bo Bunny Delilah Collection
Wrinkle Ribbon
Kaiser Craft Pearls

City Park Stickers

Woven with Love

Hellooooo and Happy Wednesday!
Did anyone catch Glee last night? Oh my goodness...Sue in Glee! Loved it!! And I just think the way they depicted the whole Justin Bieber phenomenon that's happening right now was hilarious and well done. I still have the songs in my head this morning! :)

Okay, enough about Glee (until next week!) here is my card for today using last week's challenge over at By LORi Designs. Gotta love these super sweet color challenges!

The colors were Soft Sky, Baja Breeze, Real Red and Pear Pizzaz (or anything you can find that's close to the above swatch) and I chose to use lil Lollipop Ella (the face of BLD) for the occasion. I also really wanted to come up with a unique way of incorporating the colors. So I decided to first weave the papers together and emboss over them, to create sort of a quilted look. And the super cool thing is that I saw over at Splitcoaststampers that they have something similar for their tutorial this week! Nice!

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card. Hope you have a GREAT day!

Oh Boy, oh Boy

Hello, Friends!
Hap-Happy Tuesday!! It's CHALLENGE DAY over at Claudia & Company; and I've been having a blast these last few weeks being a guest with the Paper Crafting Team!

For this week's challenge, all you have to do is create a card for A BOY! What do you think about that? Think you're up for the challenge? I thought so!

Today all the gals created projects using the Echo Park Little Boy line of papers. It's super fun and works great for boy cards! You can find a sampler pack or a 6x6 pad HERE in the store.

For my card, I pulled out little ole School Time Landon Puddle Jumper and altered him just slightly. I though he would be perfect for my first try at an Easel Card!

And that's my card for today's challenge. I hope you'll join us! Be sure and pop over to the C&Co. Blog to check out all the inspiration! And have a GREAT day!

OH and don't forget about our Customer Blog Hop! You can find out all the details and sign up HERE on the C&CO. Blog!

Just Because

Hi there!
Happy Saturday!

I'm back with a little Puddle Jumper card! This is Ezra and he is one of the February stamps from Claudia and Company.

For this card I decided to use cutie pie Ezra without his Easter basket. That's one of the things that I love about these stamps, you can use them for any occasion!

I also paired Ezra (and C&Co. sentiment stamp) with MME Fine and Dandy True Blue papers and button, Kaiser Craft star bling and various other embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

The Silver Lining

Happy Friday, Friends!
I'll be back with another Puddle Jumper card tomorrow, but until then I have a little card to show that I made for the Sisterhood swap group last month.

Our wonderful hostess, Maryann chose a very fun theme for us. She said on Jan 1st we were to look out our windows and create a card that reflected the weather! Well...I'm from Seattle, so there are usually only one or two scenes I see...rainy and rainier. lol. Actually, we do have some BEAUTIFUL weather here in Seattle, but during the winter it's usually kinda drippy and/or overcast. Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely love this weather...it makes me happy. :)

Especially, if I get to have a day with my sweetie...like the scene on this card!

I hope you like it and maybe you'll create a weather inspired card of your own! Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow!

Love You Bunches

Hellooooo and Happy Wednesday!
Did anyone catch Glee last night? I think last night's episode has got to be my favorite so far, as far as songs go. I loved them all!! That's two episodes in a row with Michael Jackson songs! :) Takes me back to being a kid. Good stuff.

So, with Valentines Day on the way, some great (Glee) Love songs in my head, and because I just LOVE a good color challenge...here is a card with all things inspired, using last week's challenge over at By LORi Designs.

As you can see, the colors were a couple shades of pink, red and brown and I chose to use sweet little Puddle Jumper Harper for the occasion. I love her name! My Bro and SIL are pregnant and if it's a girl, my SIL really wants to name her Harper (and I'm on her side, because my Bro is not so keen). This is my attempt to root for her...see how cute your DD will be if you name her that! ;)

Thanks for stopping by to look at my card. Hope you have a GREAT day!

Specific SU colors used: Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink

Hello, Friends!
Guess what time it is!! It's CHALLENGE DAY over at Claudia & Company, and it's my second week of getting to join the awesome group of Ladies who make up the Paper Crafting Team! Woot woot!

For this week's challenge, all you have to do is create a card using the colors BROWN, PINK and BLUE! Think you're up for the challenge? I thought so!

And to make it easier on you, we're even showcasing the perfect paper for that color combo! Today all the gals created projects using the Hopscotch line from Basic Grey. You can find a sampler pack or a 6x6 pad HERE in the store.

For my card, I just couldn't resist...I had to use one of the new TGF stamps that I bought from Claudia & Company. It's been a while since I've stamped with anything TGF and I have to say...I've missed these little guys so much! For those who love to color, like I do, Puddle Jumpers and The Greeting Farm stamps are sooooo nice!

Butterfly Swirls

Hello, Friends! Happy Friday!
I've been hearing all over the news about SNOW SNOW and more SNOW! I hope all of you who are seeing a blanket (or several blankets) of white cover your home, are staying warm and safe. You're in my thoughts!
We haven't had snow this week in Seattle, but we had massive WIND last night. It was crazy--I can hear the Wizard of Oz tornado song in my head right now! haha

I have another card for you today! And maybe with all this weather going on, I was just in the mood for something bright and cheery! Actually, I made this card for a dear friend of mine, who just celebrated a birthday, and she most certainly is a Bright and Cheerful light in my life. :)

For this card I've used a John Grutta image called Butterfly Swirls, that's available in digi form at Claudia and Company. Last time I used this image, I decided to go with paper piecing. But this time the patterned paper I wanted to use was so rich in color, I chose to try and use my Copics to match and highlight that paper. I also cropped the image a bit---there's so much you can do!

Thanks for popping by! Oh, before I go, I wanted to let you know about something super FUN that's going to be taking place at Claudia and Company--we are going to be having the first ever Customer Blog Hop on Feb 25 and we'd love for YOU to join in the fun! Check out all the details HERE.
Have a great weekend!

Hello and welcome to another Fun and Fabulous Release Day at Claudia and Company!! You may have noticed from the banner above, that we're getting in the mood for all things Spring! There are 3 awesome images being released today as digi stamps! And you can find them HERE in the store.

First up is Puddle Jumper Ezra (designed by the talented LoRi Boyd) and it looks like he's in his Easter best ready to go on an egg hunt! SO CUTE!

My next card features Puddle Jumper Charlotte. I just love her sweet flowered dress and cute little bob! I think the flowers as her companion stamp is a perfect match too! Love her!

And lastly is a stamp called Easter Basket, that is another fun design by newbie Claudia and Company artist, John Grutta. What a fun Easter scene!

Your next Stop on the Hop is the Lovely Tori!

Claudia and Company have a super fun challenge every week and this week is no exception. We're starting the month of February off with a UNIQUE FOLD Challenge!
All you have to do this week is create a card using a unique fold...you can use joy, gate, zee, tent, shutter, stair step or any fold that's different from the standard 'crease in the middle' :)
For my card I chose to use the JOY fold technique. In fact, Splitcoast Stampers has an awesome tutorial for this fold HERE (along with all the other folds mentioned above, as well).

Here is how the card opens

And this is the inside
