The Silver Lining

Happy Friday, Friends!
I'll be back with another Puddle Jumper card tomorrow, but until then I have a little card to show that I made for the Sisterhood swap group last month.

Our wonderful hostess, Maryann chose a very fun theme for us. She said on Jan 1st we were to look out our windows and create a card that reflected the weather! Well...I'm from Seattle, so there are usually only one or two scenes I see...rainy and rainier. lol. Actually, we do have some BEAUTIFUL weather here in Seattle, but during the winter it's usually kinda drippy and/or overcast. Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely love this weather...it makes me happy. :)

Especially, if I get to have a day with my sweetie...like the scene on this card!

I hope you like it and maybe you'll create a weather inspired card of your own! Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow!

KadieBear, I love your rainy day card! Super-cute image; I love the paper piecing amd those clouds. Are they freehand?? We both had the same rainy New Year's weather, which I also don't usually mind ... unless it's warm and I'm itching to go for a spin in the ragtop! ;-) {HUG}
