Anything But A Card

Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday!
Are you up for another Sparkle Creations Challenge?
This week the SCRS challenge #58 is to create anything but a card; using any Sparkle Creations stamp!
So, for my card I've used the Karber Stamp, Reading Millie and created a bookmark! I thought she would be super cute and very appropriate for this type of project. Plus, I was in desperate need of a cute page marker! :)

The papers I've used are from the Bo Bunny, Vicki B Collection. The ribbons are American Crafts and Amuse. The butterfly is Martha Stewart Crafts and I've thrown in a few Nesties too. Oh, and Millie is colored with Copics.

I hope you'll play along with us this week. As always there's a free stamp up for grabs to one lucky winner!

Be sure and pop over to the SCRS blog to see the awesome DT samples! Have a SUPER COOL day!

The Purple Dragon

Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another awesome Thursday challenge for the Deconstructed Sketch!
This week we're at Sketch 16 and I've got a fun little card for you that almost follows the sketch. :)
This adorable little dragon is Fergus with Tulips from Wild Rose Studio Stamps and the Paper is Pixie-licious from Cosmo Cricket. As I began coloring this little guy, I realized that I just had to color him purple and dedicate this card to my little sister. As it turns out, there is a cherished mythical, mysterious, and magical purple dragon from our childhood and it's a fun little something something that we share together, often reminiscing about. So, Em, this card's for you! xoxo

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!
And guess what...it's almost that time again, next week will be a sponsored challenge, so be sure and mark your calendar! Who do you think will be the featured stamp company?

Primary Colors

Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday!
Are you up for another Sparkle Creations Challenge?
This week the challenge is to create a card or project using any Sparkle Creations stamp and the three primary colors of red, yellow and blue.
So for my card I've used Cruisin' Chloe and of the three primary colors, I just had to choose YELLOW for the car! My very first car was a '76 yellow, convertible, VW Bug. Ahhhh, the memories. :)

I wanted to keep this card pretty simple, so that I could draw attention to the focal colors, so I've only used one patterned paper and it's from Echo Park. The ribbon is Real Red from SU and the sentiment is PTI. I also did a tad bit of scoring on the white cardstock and colored the immie with Copics. And that's all for this week's SCRS 57 challenge card!

I hope you'll play along with us this week. As always there's a free stamp up for grabs to one lucky winner. AND all Oliver stamps are on sale this month!

Also, there's more than one way to get your hands on some Sparkle Creations stamps this week...

Bundle of Joy

Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another awesome Thursday challenge for the Deconstructed Sketch!
This week we're at Sketch 15 and I've got an adorable new release from By LORi Designs for you!
This little famly, with the bundle of joy (available in the Family Blessings Bundle for a limited time at BLD), reminded me of my little brother and his wife, who just had their first baby 2 weeks ago. So I made this card with them in mind. I've paired this BLD stamp with papers from October Afternoon, a jumbo eyelet from WeRMemory Keepers and Ribbon from American Crafts. Oh, and the sentiment is from PTI.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!! LORi Boyd, the artist of this FAB stamp, just happens to be a Sketch Girl too ;)

Getting Sketchy with SCRS56

Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday! Are you having a good week?
I'm excited because I get to share another Sparkle Creations Challenge card with you today!
This week the challenge is to create a card or project using a Sparkle Creations stamp and inspired by the sketch below. Check out the SCRS Blog for a full size, printable version of this sketch.
So for my card I decided to use the newly released (and SUPER CUTE) Soda Jenny.
I've paired Jenny with papers from Bo Bunny (can you believe I didn't say MME! okay...there's a little itty bit of MME in there too) and used Amuse Ribbon and Jewel Dots for embellishments. There's also a bit of Clear Spica for some sparkle, but the camera doesn't pick it up. Oh, and the sentiment comes with Soda Jenny.

I hope you'll play along with us this week. As always there's a free stamp up for grabs to one lucky winner. AND all Oliver stamps are on sale this month!

Also, there's more than one way to get your hands on some Sparkle Creations stamps this week...

It's gonna be a BRIGHT and SUN-SHINY day for sure at The Greeting Farm! Hooray!

Today is THE day two new sets are available for purchase, as TGF is proud to debut their new line of CLEAR stamps!

My project features the Bantastic set and is paired with another cutie pie Oliver stamp (c/o TGF as well). For today's card I decided to use the Bantastic banner stamps in a more tradition sense (if you didn't see yesterday's card, using the set as a background stamp, you can scroll down one post), by creating a BANNER! I wanted to be sure and celebrate TGF's 3rd Bday in style, so I also used some fun papers from DCWV The Celebration Stack. And that's my card!

TGF is SO excited for today's hop to combine some Greeting Farm alumni (that's me!) along with their current Farmers! Be sure to start the Hop off at the TGF BLOG, because one lucky winner will receive BOTH sets just for commenting and participating in the hop! And just in case you get lost along the way in all of the excitement that is CLEARLY mounting...here is the list:

Sparkle Creations Day 3

Hi Friends!

It's day 3 of August previews at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps and today we're previewing another cutie pie Karber Stamp! Check out Soda Jenny!!
For my card I've paired Soda Jenny with 'A Fair Day' papers from SEI, that pretty much created the perfect scene, so I didn't want to alter them too much. I added a bit a flair using ribbon from Amuse, a few jewel dots, some hand stitching and Soda Jenny's accompanying sentiment. And voila! A day at the fair!

You can check out Soda Jenny HERE on the SCRS blog and all the awesome samples from the links of my fellow DT below.

And don't forget, all Oliver stamps are on sale this month! Get that cutie while you can! Plus, just by leaving a comment on each of the blogs today, you'll have a chance to win Soda Jenny! Woohoo!

Deconstructed Leslie

Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another awesome Thursday challenge for the Deconstructed Sketch!
This week we're at Sketch 14 and I decided to finally get inky with this adorable Karber digital stamp that I've been hoarding.
Actually, I've been meaning to get inky with Music Leslie ever since I saw Charice sing 'Telephone' with Lea Michele on Glee. This stamp completely reminds me of Charice and I can't help but hear that song in my head now every time I see this cutie! Such a great head boppin' beat. :)
For my Leslie card I used these fab Alphabet Soup papers from My Mind's Eye, perfect for the tunes she's rockin out to. I also added just a bit of flare with some Amuse ribbon and Hambly Studios rub-on.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!

Ahoy, From Riley!

Please scroll down for my Sparkle Creations Challenge card or click HERE. Thanks!
Hello Friends!
I'm back with a super fun card that I made for this week's challenge at Riley and Company (RILEY1611)!
My sweet friend, Kelly has challenged us to create a Riley card or project using her Oceans of Fun theme!
For the challenge we are to use a boat, ocean, beach, etc and include the colors red and blue.
I decided that my little Toasting Riley was going to be celebrating in style on a Riley and Co. Cruise. So this card shows Riley through his State-Room porthole. :) I've used Echo Park Papers, Amuse Ribbon and jewel dots to bring this little scene to life. Oh, and the sentiment is TGF.

SUCH a fun challenge!! Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
See you tomorrow for a Sparkle Creations sneak peek!

Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday! Are you having a good week?
I'm excited because I get to share another Sparkle Creations Challenge card with your today!
This week the challenge is to create a card or project using a Sparkle Creations stamp and inspired by the below photo.
So for my card I decided to use Traveling Josh and place him 'sittin' by the dock of the bay,' enjoying his last few moments of Summer vacay.
I've paired Traveling Josh with papers from My Mind's Eye and used a Basic Grey Button, Amuse Ribbon and Martha Stewart Punch for embellishments. The sentiment is Amy R from All That Scraps.

I hope you'll play along with us this week. As always there's a free stamp up for grabs to one lucky winner. AND all Oliver stamps are on sale this month! PLUS August previews start tomorrow, so look for those. Until then, be sure and pop over to the SCRS blog to see the awesome DT samples!

Feeling Tickled Pink

click on pic for a clearer, less fuzzy look

Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another awesome Thursday challenge for the Deconstructed Sketch! This week we're starting off August in a fab way with Sketch 13 and a Sponsored Challenge!! Woohoo! You've been eagerly waiting, haven't you? :) I know I have!!
Our sponsor this month is Tickled Pink Stamps. They are an Australian based online company that stocks a range of popular and well sought after stamps from many companies all over the world and is always so excited to be supplying you with everything cute, quirky and PINK. They now have their very own Lil Lolita and Lil Lads along with the cute Lil Pinkette range.
(and the Lil Lolitas are some of my all time fave stamps. Check out my very first Lil Lolita card HERE).
For my card, I've used Lil Lolita Christina; colored in Copics. And she just happens to be fashioned after the Lil Lolita artist herself (drawn by herself too, of course)! And I've colored her hair red, but I'm pretty sure that the awesome Owner of TPS, Kelly, is the red-head of the bunch. :) You can find her Lil Lolita Kellita in the store too!
For the Lovely Christina's card, I've paired her with papers from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose collection and then added a chipboard embellie and rub-ons from Kaisercraft. You might even be able to spy a bit of Stickles and a jewel dot in there too.

The prize for one lucky participant this week, will be the winner's choice of either one rubber stamp OR 2 digis from the Lil Lad, Lil Lolita or Lil Pinkette ranges! Awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!
