Handsome Sprout

(please click on pic for clearer view)

Hello, There!
Happy Thursday to You!
I LOVE Thursdays! It's the day that I get to share another fun Deconstructed Sketch with you!
We're on Sketch 21 now and Jen has given us another FANTASTIC one! I think it may be one of my all time favorites!
For my card I've used Logan, the newest Wild Sprout from The Greeting Farm and paired him with My Mind's Eye 'Lost and Found: Breeze' papers. And then just for a little flare, I added twine and a Basic Grey button (it's there, I promise, it's just clear!), as well as a bit of distressing.

Be sure and check out all the AMAZING creations that the rest of the Sketch Girls have for you today and I hope you'll play along with us this week!! You'll be able to find all the DT samples in a special Sunday post on Jen's blog, but until then, have fun hopping around today to the list below! Also, next week is a sponsored challenge...who will it be...check back to find out!

Witchy Prue

Please scroll down for my Sparkle Creations post or click HERE. Thanks!

Hi Friends!
I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!
I'm back with another fun project for By LORi Designs! As if you weren't filled to the brim with inspiration from the BIG BDAY BASH over the weekend, now we have some Halloween-y projects for you!

For my project I decided to used a diaper fold to create a little treat basket. These little holders are so perfect if you're looking to give just a little something something on any occasion.

I've decorated my basket with one of the newest additions to the BLD digi family--it's Puddle Jumper Witchy Prue! And she is accompanied with paper from My Mind's Eye (Boo To You collection), Ribbon from Amuse, Buttons from Basic Grey (Eerie) and a couple of Brads (Making Memories).

It's such a fun and easy project. I hope you like it!
Be sure to check out what my fellow Lollipop Girls have for you today over at the BLD Blog. OH AND, please join me in welcoming our newest DT members--

Have a GREAT DAY!

Color My World

Hello, Hello!
I hope you're having a great Tuesday!

I'm back with a special By LORi Designs post today. Last week the DT was celebrating Back To School by showcasing some fun cards with that theme and this week we've decided to continue rockin' that theme by sharing some "anything but a card" inspiration!

For my project I've used School Girl Mina Lollipop to fancy up my otherwise boring bucket of Copics. This was super fun to do and now when I go to grab a marker, I can't help but have a smile on my face from seeing such a cutie pie!

Thanks for stopping by today! Please check out all the amazing Back To School ideas and creations that the BLD team has for you over at the By LORi Designs Blog today.

Case Me

(click on the pic for clearer view)

Pick me! Pick me!! (heeheehee)
Sooooo, today is a very fun day at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps...not only is it the Tuesday Challenge, but that challenge is to CASE one of the DT cards!! How exciting is that! (pick me, pick me. lol)
For my card I've used Cheerleader Emily and done just a few simple, but unique things in creating it:

1) Instead of using patterned paper, I've used Washi. BUT if you're casing my card, feel free to use patterned paper. It's all about the layout. :)
2) I've scored a border on the base cardstock
3) I've used an SCRS stamp. You can also use one of those adorable Karber rubber stamps sold at SCRS too!
4) I've given the image a tad bit of dimension by raising it up slightly. I stamped two images and placed the cut out one atop the flat one, but if you want to use dimensionals to give it extra height, you can do that too!
5) Your choice of embellishment. I chose to go with ribbons because, well, I love ribbons!!
And that's it! 5 simple steps to this card and you're on your way :)

I hope you'll join in on all the fun! Be sure to check out all of the amazing CASE-ing inspiration HERE at the SCRS Blog!
As always, there will be a stamp up for grabs to one lucky participant.

If you want to see some more fairy goodness, be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks. Sparkle will be giving away a Fairy Millie to one lucky person! Embracing the Sketch

(please click on pic for clearer view)

Hello There!
Happy Thursday to You!

Wow, I don't know about you, but it sure became Thursday really quickly again for me! And I do LOVE Thursdays because I get to share another fun Deconstructed Sketch with you!
I can't believe we're on Sketch 18 already and Jen has given us another GREAT one!
For my card I've used this cutie pie Strawberry Tilda from Magnolia Stamps. I've built up quite a collection of these lovelies, but have been very shy to color them up. So, I thought since this sketch had a nice oval space, perfect for one of these stamps, that I would give it a whirl.
I've paired Sweet Tilda with some patterned papers and sentiment from Papertrey Ink and ribbon from Amuse. I hope you like it!

Be sure and check out all the AMAZING creations that the rest of the Sketch Girls have for you today and I hope you'll play along with us this week!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sketchy Kinda Tuesday

(please click on pic for a clearer view)

Hi Friends!
Happy Tuesday!
Well, it certainly was a little bit difficult to come back to life as I know it after such a gloriously long weekend! But, I just had to so that I could share this week's Sparkle Creations Challenge with you (and because I had to return to work too).  :)

So, this week's challenge is #59 and it's a sketch challenge created by the fabulous Kim!
And since this is the start of our September preview week, you get to see some very fun and diverse examples of how to use this sketch with all of our previews showcasing Broomstick Lucy!

For my card, I've paired Lucy with some oldie, but goodie, 'Blackbird', 'Haunting' and 'Boo To You' patterned papers from My Mind's Eye. Yep, I just couldn't resist using a little bit from all three collections.

Be sure to check out what all the Gals have created for you, over at the SCRS Blog and don't forget to leave some love too! As always one lucky winner will win this adorable new Lucy stamp!

Hi Friends!
It's Thursday, my favorite day of the week! And of course, today I have another fun Deconstructed Sketch to share with you! This week is sketch #17....and funny thing happened...I got distracted by the awesome Sponsor stamps this week and I forgot to use the sketch! Doh! Rest assured, I will have another card today posted using Jen's FAB sketch 17. :) To see how I used this sketch, please click HERE.

This week we are sponsored by Simply Betty Stamps and what a treat, the Sketch Girls got to play with our choice of the BRAND NEW STAMPS for September!! Check them out here at Simply Betty Stamps.
Simply Betty Stamps is a stamp company dedicated to producing stamps that are FUN, FUNKY and just a little bit DIFFERENT than your everyday stamps. Betty offers stamps in deeply etched red rubber, clear and digital formats. Everyone is sure to find something to love at SBS!

The prize for one lucky sketch participant this week is THREE stamps from Betty's new Sweet Gothic Kids Halloween line of clear stamps and this week Jen is picking that stamps and she's chosen Pumpkin Carvin' Alex, Witch Wednesday and Tily Vampire! Entries will be accepted from today until September 7, 2011 at 8 pm CST!

For my card I've used School Girl Betty and I couldn't help dressing her up like Hermione Granger, on her way back to Hogwarts to start another year! The papers I've used are a combo of MME Six by Six Sunshine and Prima Reflections. The lamp post and the scallops are stickers from Echo Park Paper. There are few Kaisercraft pearl dots thrown in there too and School Girl Betty is colored in Copics.
