Delight Yourself

Hi Friends!
Welcome to another fun Thursday and new Deconstructed Sketch for the week!
And SURPRISE! You've been looking at the sketch all week in my card for the previous post HERE!

I DO have another card for you today using this very same sketch, and it's also my Crafter's of Faith card for the month.

This month our challenge (given by the lovely, Sharon) is to use something old from our crafter "stash," as well as something new. This sketch was PERFECT for that!! I was able to use up scraps from other cards I've made (old) and one of the Bible verse stamps that I'd gotten recently from Verve stamps (new).

Thank you so much for popping by today! I hope you will check out the fabulous creations of the other Sketch Girls (list below), as well as my Crafter of Faith pals (listed on my sidebar).

Blessings, Kadie

Put A Heart On It

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!

It's time for challenge #184 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's time to PUT A HEART ON IT! All you have to do is include a heart somewhere on your card or project.

For my card, I've used a Bible verse stamp that I picked up from Verve stamps and paired it with papers from Cosmo Cricket. AND I used my sewing machine for the FIRST time on a card! So, how ya like them apples? Now you won't know when it's hand stitching or machine! Teehee, no, I'll be sure to say. :)

Also, looks what's coming up!

Mommy's Tummy

Hi Friends!
Happy Friday and welcome to another release day at A Day For Daisies!

There are two beautiful releases today over in the shop. The first are these GORGEOUS images, called I Love..., created by Tammy. It's also challenge week, so that means you should check out the blog today and use RED in your ADFD project.

For my first card, I've used this week's Deconstructed Sketch to showcase an image called, I Love My Mommy's Tummy. I picked this one because my sister-in-law is preggers with her second child and her first little one is 18 months. So it reminded me of them. I've paired the image with papers from My Mind's Eye and a couple Basic Grey buttons. The image is colored in Copics and the sentiment is from Amuse Studio.

The second release are these fun Winter Fest images, by Tammy's sister, Samantha.

For my second card, I've used Samantha's image called Mistletoe Kisses (I just adore this sweet stamp!) and paired it with papers from the same MME (retired) collection as the first card. It is also colored in Copics and has buttons from Basic Grey, sentiment from SU, and ribbons from SU and PTI.

Wag More

Hi Friends!
Welcome to another fun Thursday and new Deconstructed Sketch for the week!

For my card I've used this pup with attitude, It's All in the Accessories, from artist Mo Manning, over at Mo's Digital Pencil. I've paired him with  papers from We R Memory Keepers, ribbon from PTI and sentiment from Rosie's Roadshow that I found at Impress Stamps. I also turned the sketch on it's side to fit the image.

A Good Book

Hello, Friends!

I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start. Today is the15th, so that means I get to share another Dueling Darlings card with you! Our hostess for the Divas this month was Laura Jean and she and Terry (hostess for the Dazzlers) chose a book theme for us since January is Book Blitz month.

LJ put together and AWESOME kit for us and I tried to use as many elements as I could. The stamp is Graphic 45, ABC primer collection, the paper is Echo Park Paper, This & That, the ribbon is American Crafts, buttons are PTI and Amuse and the sentiment is from Stampin Up.

In addition to our card, we have also been asked to share our favorite book and/or author and why. My favorite author has always been John Steinbeck. I was really taken by his short story, Chrysanthemums, when I was in college and I've enjoyed his work ever since. But my favorite book is the Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. My Aunt gave me this book when I was young and it just sat on my shelf for the longest time. I suppose it wasn't the right time for me to read it, but when I finally did, it captured my heart. An amazing story of Faith and Strength and true Godly character. Corrie Ten Boom is such an inspiration to me and I wish I had even an ounce of the faith that she had.

Thank you LJ and Terry for another fun month!

Be sure and stop by and see what the Divas and Dazzlers have created today.

You are Beautiful

Hi Friends!
Happy Friday and welcome to another release day at A Day For Daisies!

For some of you, this week's images may look a little familiar, but it is because they were available as a club kit before. Now Tammy is re-releasing these GORGEOUS images, called My Flower Bonnet, to purchase individually. Yipee!!

For my card I've used this week's Deconstructed Sketch once again (yes, I loved it that much!) to showcase and image called "First Pen." I've paired the image with papers from My Mind's Eye and a few pearls for accents. The image is colored in Copics.
