Celebrating Moments

Hi Friends!
We've reached Deconstructed Sketch #101 and it's also time for another Duel with the Dueling Darlings!

This month our hostesses (for the DDD) Kelly (for the Divas) and Jeanette (for the Dazzlers), chose a theme to celebrate special moments.

Here is what they had to say: Since May is traditionally the month of celebrating Mother's Day, many anniversaries, upcoming June weddings, Holy Communions and Confirmations, graduations and so much more, we thought we'd take this time to celebrate the moments that mean so much! Our theme this month is: Making Memories, Celebrating Moments!

Kelly provided us with just the yummiest kit! In my opinion you can't go wrong with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp! This beauty is called Tessa Tassel and she's paired with papers from Carta Bella, button from We R Memory Keepers, ribbon from Offray and graduation hat from EK Success. Thank you, Kelly!

We were also asked to share a past memory or current moment that means much to us. There are so many special moments in my life, but I will go with something recent. Last weekend I got to spend time with my almost 2 year old niece, just she and I. She's getting really good at speaking and it's also quite adorable. Something she always does when you ask her a question is say, "yeah." So I asked her something, she said, "yeah," and then I decided to mimic her with my own, "yeah." And then it was a full on "yeah" fest! It was adorable and so is she! I just can't get enough of that sweet girl. So, that's my special moment for the week!

Hope you all have a great day!

This card is definitely gorgous! You are right about the Kraftin' Kimmie images... yeah! And wow! I love the way you used the DP in the background. Beautiful!

I also loved hearing about the time you spent with your niece. YEAH! It sure sounds like you two had fun!

Do I love this card? "Yeah!!!" hehehe

Seriously, the coloring is superb and your layout is perfect to highlight the adorable Tessa! Love the circle on top of the horizontal banners, what a great idea!

Glad that you had some special one-on-one time with your niece! Children are so fun at that stage and it passes so quickly. It's wonderful that you are able to create some lasting memories together!

Perfect card, my friend!

I am so behind in all things....crafting has taken a back burner these past couple of weeks. I am so glad for the DUEL so that I could get crafty!

I love wee ones! Too bad mine has grown into a teenager! LOL.....he's still a good kid, but you should hear what sometimes comes out of his mouth....lol
