Deconstructed 111

Hi Friends!
I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday!

I've got another fun card for you using this week's Deconstructed Sketch #111, designed by Donna!
(Love this design, Donna!)

For my card I've used another stamp from the Moonlight Whisper line at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I love anything 'Wizard of Oz,' so of course I adore this version of Dorothy! I've colored up this stamp with Copics (nope, it's not paper piecing, it's all Copics!) and paired her with a few different styles of gingham papers, button from Basic Grey and sentiment from PTI.

I've also created this cutie to fit this week's "anything goes" challenge over at the Kraftin Kimmie Blog!
Thank you so much for popping by!
I hope you will check out the fabulous creations of the other Deconstructed Sketch Girls! See you back here next week for Sketch 112!

Hi Friends! Happy Friday!
We're revisiting another fun set of digi stamps today at A Day For Daisies!!

This one is all vintage baby stamps and it is BEAUTIFUL! I decided to change things up (from my standard square) and go for a round card with mine. And then since the stamp was vintage I wanted my card to have that feel also. I went with some floral papers that my sweet friend, Carol bought for me while she was visiting Seattle, flowers from Prima, burlap twine, butterfly die from Memory Box, pearls from KaiserCraft and sentiment from PTI.

Be sure and visit the whole team! Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Wishes

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
I'm back with today's challenge #208 over at The Pink Elephant and it's time to create a FEMININE BIRTHDAY CARD.

It's also time for another DUEL with the Dueling Darlings!
This month our hostess for the Divas was Barb  (Debbie for the Dazzlers) and she sent this FABulous kit, filled with many of my favorite things! Yummers! Our theme was "Cool Creations" and we were asked to make a card and share our favorite Summer cooler. I don't know that I have a favorite, but I LOVE iced tea! Does that count? I know it's not a sweet treat, but it's how I usually cool down in Summer.

For my card, to meet both TPE and DD challenges, I designed this Birthday card for my boss, who is a really special lady and friend! I hope she likes it!

Have a wonderful Monday! Be sure to join us at TPE this week and share your inspiration with us!

Guns and Roses Challenge

Hi Friends!
Happy Wednesday to you!

I have another fun Kraftin Kimmie card for you today! I fully intended to pop in yesterday with my card for this week's "Guns and Roses" (or metal and flowers) challenge card, but you know that thing that happens when you think your completely done with a card and then realize your forgot one itty bitty detail you had intended to include? That happened to me! I forgot Eleanor's blusher! Gasp!  teehee

Well, a day later, Eleanor has her blusher and is camera ready. I've paired Eleanor with papers from Cosmo Cricket Social Club, seam binding ribbon (a gift from my friend, Amy), Making Memories metal clip and sentiment plaque and hand made paper flowers from my friend, Paola.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great one!

Super Star Revisited

Hellooooo!
Happy Wednesday to you!
Since I've had Kraftin Kimmie's on the brain this week, I thought I would pop in and share another card with you!
This one is not entered in the contest, because it's not a new one of mine, but it IS my favorite card I've made using a Kraftin Kimmie stamp, so I thought it was a fun one to revisit right before the long weekend.

For my card I've used Super Star from the Moonlight Whisper line; colored in Copics and paired with papers from Calico Studio, buttons from Basic Grey and sentiment from PTI.

Thanks for popping over today! Hope you have a great one! Be sure to pop over to the Kraftin Kimmie blog and check out all the amazing creations!

Lola Lollipop - Inside and Out

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday (again)!
I've been SOOOO excited to share my card with you! Last week I was selected as one of the TOP 10 to move on to the next round in a Kraftin Kimmie contest for a Guestie spot in August. And I couldn't be more excited! (I actually, "eeeeked" out loud at work and my co-workers gave me some crazy looks!) I LOVE coloring up Kraftin Kimmie stamps!

So, the challenge for this round was to create a card inside and out! I chose to go with an easel card and used Lola Lollipop as my inspiration!

Here you can see that I stamped Lola inside as well and left her black and white, except her lollipop! I also included the sentiment that comes with this stamp set. Perfect for a friend who's having a hard time and needing a bit of encouragement.

And here's a close up of Miss Lola!

The papers I've used are from My Mind's Eye, the stitching is done by hand and Lola Lollipop (from the Moonlight Whisper Line at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps) is colored up in Copics.
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by to see my card! Here's hoping I make it to the next round!

hugs,
kadie

TPE Red, White and Blue

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
I'm back with today's challenge #206 over at The Pink Elephant and it's an inspiration photo.

Isn't this just a fun and festive inspiration? It has been hot, hot, hot all over the states right now (even in Seattle!) and I'm sure many of us would enjoy kicking back with one of these refreshers!

For my card I didn't use any stamps! I used papers and cutouts from My Minds Eye and ribbon from May Arts.
I hope you have a wonderfully, sun-shiney day (but not too hot)! Be sure to join us at TPE this week and share your inspiration with us!
