Anything Goes at TPE

Hi Friends and Happy Monday to You!

It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant and this week is ANYTHING GOES!!

Create whatever your heart desires and submit it to the linky on the TPE BLOG. Hope you will share your projects with us!

For my card I've used a set from Stampin' Up with Classic Cars. It's a great, versatile stamp set for any masculine card (or for your female friend if she's into cars!). The papers are SU too.

Deconstructed 194

Hello! Happy Thursday!

I've got another Deconstructed Sketch to get your craft mojo going!

For my card I've used a floral bouquet from Taylored Expressions, colored in Copics and paired with papers from Echo Park. The ribbon and sentiment are Stampin Up and the button is Cosmo Cricket. The colors actually match up to tee, but camera lighting sometimes changes the photos. :) I also raised a couple of the flowers to give the image texture.

Here is the awesome sketch and links to the AMAZING inspiration from the Sketch Girls!

Colorful Inspiration

Hi Friends!
Hope your day is off to a great start!
Today's challenge over at The Pink Elephant is an inspiration challenge. All you have to do is use the photo below as inspiration for your card or project and link up to the TPE Blog. Can't wait to see what you create!

For my card I decided to go with the colors as my inspiration, instead of the theme. I grabbed so various scraps of patterned paper (that really do match the colors to a tee in the natural light) and placed them behind a dry embossed couple of roses. I added that touch of orange from the photo in the Prima flower and topped it off with a few enamel dots. The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Now it's your turn! See you over at TPE!

Enjoy Your Day

Hello and welcome to another week of creative sketchiness with Deconstructed Sketch 193!

For my card this week, I've used the Art Impressions stamp called Feline Flop from the Zoo Crew line and combined DS193 with the AI vintage vibe challenge. I think these Stampin Up papers are sort of vintage-y, right? The Prima flower definitely gives it that soft and vintage feel. :) I also threw in some enamel dots and sentiment from PTI (Art Impressions sentiment, "I wasn't going to do anything today...right on schedule," is on the inside of this fun card).

Thanks for stopping by this week! Be sure and check out the inspiration from the rest of the Sketch Girls!

What's Your Brew?

Hello and Happy Sunday!

It's the 15th of the month and that means it's time for another Duel with the Dueling Darlings! This month it was my turn to hostess for the Divas and Paola for the Dazzlers. We chose a coffee or tea theme, depending on what each lady preferred. Hence the name, "What's Your Brew?"

For my card I chose to go with Coffee and the stamp from Art Impressions to answer the question. While I do LOVE a nice cup of tea, I'm finding myself drinking coffee more and more these days. It may be that I have a 7 month old and am needing caffeine. Or maybe that I'm addicted to Starbucks. Or that I just plain like the taste and smell of java. Or maybe all three :)
Order me up a grande peppermint latte, please!

Have a great day and be sure to check out the cards from my fellow Dueling Darlings (list on side bar).

Deconstructed 192

Hi Friends!
I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!

I'm back with another Deconstructed Sketch Challenge. And what a fun week!

For my card I've used both stamp and papers from Stampin' Up. I don't know if you can see from the pic, but I've heat embossed the image to give this card a little texture.

I hope you'll join in the fun this week! Check out what the Sketch Girls have for you!

Shapely Technique

Hi Friends! Happy Monday!
I'm wondering if anyone else is as sleepy as I am this morning? I'm really feeling Daylight savings this year. :)

No matter the sleepiness, I'm back with this week's challenge #289 over at The Pink Elephant,
SHAPED CARDS or PROJECTS.

I hope this counts. It's an unusual shape for me and a different kind of card technique. The super cute stamp is Puddle Jumper Kyle from By LORi Designs and the papers and quotable are DCWV.

Hope you'll join us this week at TPE!

Deconstructed Sketch 191

Hello Friends!
Welcome back for another week at The Deconstructed Sketch challenge :)

This week is #191 and I decided to let the embellishment do all the work. Actually, I've been meaning to use these gorgeous flowers from Prima for quite some time now and they were just too big to be the accent to an image.

So I paired this flower with a sentiment from SU, papers from Doodlebug and a bit of hand stitching.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Girly Girl

It's another Monday challenge over at The Pink Elephant and today the theme is GIRLY GIRL!

Please give a very warm welcome to our Guestie this month, Carol!! She has got some great GIRLY inspiration for you this week!

I hope you think my card has enough girly frill and sparkle! I must admit that I don't naturally lean towards pinks, purples and all things that are typically "girly," but I do enjoy it every once in a while!
And I hope you do too and will join in the fun this week over at The Pink Elephant!

Thanks for stopping by!
