Be Yourself
Hello Friends! Happy Tuesday!
As you know, the first of the month is creeping up on us, so I'm back to show you another sneak peek of what's going to be in The Greeting Farm store for July!!
Today the Farmers are previewing a new digi edition to the Creeper Crew and Club Anya & Friends are showcasing what will be available in rubbah! Be sure to pop over the CA&F blog and check out Creeper Monday and Creeper Wednesday!
In the meantime this is Creeper Jack!
Isn't he FUN! I really like his style and that he's not afraid to be himself. :)
I really wanted to do something funky for his background. My first thought was to use Creeper Drummer as patterned paper and have Jack as a front man for a garage band or something. But when I decided to try out a patterned paper with Jack too, I ended up loving the look of that even more. And then I instantly thought of this shirt I have with the saying, "uniformity is boring" and I knew this would be a good match for my Jack card today!
The Creepers will be released on July 1st, along with the Chibis and Critters from yesterday's preview! And be sure to pop into Club Anya & Friends tomorrow too...because there just may be one more stamp to add to your July 1st wishlist!!
Until then, there's lots more to see from the Farmers and Team Anya today! Have fun!

Around the World
Greetings and welcome to the first day of previews for the upcoming July Release at The Greeting Farm!
Today the Farmers are previewing a new Chibi line by artist Jessica Hymas! And these little world travelers might just be the cutest Chibis yet!
There are five new Chibis in all, but today I have the pleasure of introducing you to Alaska Chibi! Isn't she sweet?! I think so!
Since the 4th of July is just around the corner and out of the 5 darlings, this Chibi is representing the USA, I decided to go with a little red, white and blue theme. Fun Fun Fun!
I can't wait to get my hands on the other 4 too! Japan, Spain, India and Africa! Woohooo!
So pop on over to the TGF blog because the Farmers have a LOT more to show you today, and one lucky winner will take home ALL FIVE of these babies!
ALSO, there are new releases from artist Marina Neira that the Critter Crew is previewing as well! You don't want to miss it!
The Greeting Farm has TONS of previews to bring you all week long, between the TGF Blog and Club Anya & Friends, so be sure to stop by every day this week to see what's on the horizon! JULY 1st is coming VERY soon and we are PUMPED!
See you back here tomorrow with another Preview that you will most definitely be excited about! And be sure to check out and leave some love for the rest of the team today!

Feeling Farm Fresh Sketchy
No more monkeys jumpin on the bed!! That's what the dr said! Or in this case Miss Thursday from the Creeper Crew. :)
Yahoo! It's Farm Fresh Friday over at The Greeting Farm and this week's challenge is a sketch challenge!! This fanastic and brilliantly simplistic sketch was provided by the fabulously talented and ever so sweet, Cindy Haffner! And all you need to do to enter this week's contest is to use a TGF stamp, Farmer Cindy's sketch and upload to the TGF gallery (details on the blog). I hope you'll play with us this week! One lucky winner will win a prize!
I'm very excited that it's Friday...if you couldn't tell! This weekend I get to do something SUPER fun---I'm going to take a COPICS class! And I'm so curious if I'll bump into any of my fellow stamper friends! It should be a blast. Have a great weekend!

Happy Sad, Sad Happy
Hello My Friends!
Today my card for you is a happy/sad juxtaposition. This card features Lilith from the Tickled Pink 'Lil Lolita' Collection; and as you can see she is not the happiest of happys at the moment.
You see, Lilith has a friend that is moving, a BFF even. And while Lilith is very happy that her friend is happy and off on a new adventure...she is sad too...because she will miss her friend's presence very much (someone should tell Lilith about the internet). :)
Anywho, I think these stamps from Tickled Pink Stamps are really fun and different and was excited to get them inked up. Generally though, I have a lot easier time creating happy, sunshiney cards, so with Lilith I just couldn't resist bringing in an ironic element and then tell a story for this card. Oh, and I also used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch 144!
I hope you like it! Maybe it will remind you of a time you had a sad/happy moment.
Thanks for popping by today!

Life is a Song
Ahhhh, Friday at long last!
And you know what that means...another Farm Fresh Friday challenge from The Greeting Farm!
This week the challenge is to Button it! That means use at least 3 buttons and a TGF stamp, upload your card to the TGF galleria under FFF Button it, and that's it!
I have been wanting to use this adorable Irvin the Owl digi stamp designed by artist Marina Neira since the moment I first spied him in all his cuteness! Every time I see this stamp I just can't help but smile. So Cute! And he takes to color like no other! I paired him up with this week's Mojo Monday sketch and the fabulously colorful new Delovely papers from Cosmo Cricket. And Viola!
Be sure to stop by the TGF blog and check out all the fantastic ways to incorporate buttons onto your creations. And I hope that you'll play along with us this week too! Have a great weekend!

Thoughts of Summer
Good Morning to you!
I don't know about you, but today feels like a very sleepy day. Here is Seattle, it's still a little dark, overcast, there's a slight wind and I'm having a hard time with my startup button! I do, however, have a latte and some yummy oatmeal, so hopefully in a few moments I will be warmed up and sparked up! :) How are YOU today?
The card I'm posting today is my entry for the monthly card swap I'm in. The May theme was hosted by the amazingly talented and ever so sweet, Lorie! She proposed that we create a card that reminded us of summer and beyond that, the sky was the limit. Well, it seems I took to the skies literally and created a summery hot air balloon card with this new Up, Up and Away set from Papertrey Ink!
I had a lot of fun with this card! I knew I wanted to use this set and after thinking about the layout for a little bit, I decided also that I was going to do a bit of masking to create a fun scene. I also wanted to try and draw in one focal point, so I did the background images in black and raised and colored the center image only.
I'm so excited to get the swap back and see all the beautiful summery cards that my friends made!
Hope you have a great day and I'll see you back here tomorrow for Farm Fresh Friday!!

Team Edward
Good Morning! Happy Wednesday!
My card for you today features Wild Sprout "Flirty" Edward. I don't know if any of you have noticed or not, but some of The Greeting Farm's Wild Sprouts have a little bit of Twilight flare...teehee...of course you've noticed! LOL!
The first Edward Sprout was a little bit more prim and proper; he hadn't met Bella, I mean Camille yet, so he was still hiding out. BUT Flirty Edward is in love and letting his guard down a bit! And this stamp could go either way--with a t-shirt under that jacket or some sparkly bare skin. I also was eagerly anticipating using a couple of these Unity Stamps and finally an idea flashed in my mind for Edward and it all came together!
I don't have cable so I was finally able to sit down for a few minutes and watch bits from the MTV Movie Awards online last night. And what do you know, Twilight (New Moon) was a big winner and talked about quite a bit. And of course "Edward" and "Jacob" and "Bella" were all on the show. And after that I couldn't help be inspired to finish my Flirty Edward card! Huminahuminahumina. LOL (just kidding! I'm happily married here! Plus, RP will always seem like Cedric from Harry Potter to me). But as I do really like the Twi-story, I am looking forward to Eclipse in a couple weeks and I would have to say that I lean more toward team Edward. :)
And that's my card for today! I hope you are having a Wonderful Wednesday!

Queens of Our Hearts
Helloooooooo!
Today is a very special day because it is the birthday of TWO of my sweet friends!! I'm so excited to wish Michelle and Carol a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I have been blessed beyond words by my friendships with these two wonderful ladies and I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell them that and wish them both a Fabulous Day!! I love you, Girls!
My card today is in honor of the two birthday Lovelies! Everyone should be made to feel like the Queen on her special day and today, Michelle and Carol share the day, but they are in different states, so they can reign over different lands. :) I do hope that each of them will be made to feel like a Queen today and lavished with love and kindness because of the AMAZING women they are!
So, to honor the Queens of the day, I've chosen to use Kraftin' Kimmie's Queen Guinevere. I know this turned out to be a pretty simple card, but I have this beautiful two sided cardstock and since it's so busy in and of itself, I just decided to keep it simple, add a few embellishments and then make it all about the Queen!
Thanks for stopping by to take a look and to celebrate Michelle and Carol with me today! MUAH

Belle of the Beach
It's card kit time again and I'm extremely late! Shame on me!
As I mentioned yesterday, I had a bit of an overwhelming week and so I really missed the mark on getting today's card up on Thursday (oops!).
BUT I'm here today with my card! Woot Woot!
Several months ago, my dear friends Mary, Sandra and I wanted to find a way to stamp together (because we all live in different states), so the idea to send each other a card kit was born! It's such a neat way to be inspired by one another and to get to work with stamps and materials that some of us don't have in our collections.
This month it was my turn to send out the kit. First I looked through all of my stamps and noticed that many of these fabulous Gorjuss Girls haven't seen much ink! So I chose Little Ducky Gorjuss Girl first and went from there. Next, I looked through my papers and THIS Kaiser Craft Rustic Charm paper jumped out at me. I loved the soft orange and blue together and it really reminded me of the water, rubber duckies and floaties. :) And lastly, I started hunting for complimentary embellishments. I always like to give a variety because embies are like packing for a trip to me...you never know what you're going to feel like wearing on any given day. Picking embellishments always depends on the layout you end up creating, the size of the card, and of course, which papers you've decided to go with. So this time I sent a few ribbon choices, a few buttons, a funky brad or two, some flowers, some jewels, a paper clip and a chipboard flower. I always want to try and use it all, but alas, I still want to create a card that I'm happy with! :) I really wanted to try and use the flowers and/or the chipboard flower for this card too, but as I said, it really depends on the layout and this one was all about the paper! I am really happy with the way the layout turned out though.
And that's my card! Better late than never :) Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look and please, if you haven't already, check out the cards of my stampin buddies, Mary and Sandra too! Hope you're having a great weekend!

Sparkle
Hello! Happy Friday!
I still owe you a card from yesterday (actually I owe my stampin pals Sandra and Mary a card)! This week has been a tad overwhelming for me, but I'm really happy it's Friday and looking forward to some down time this weekend.
My card for you today uses this week's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. We got to work with a FABULOUS sketch this week from our Dear Mercy Kerin! I'm really digging the elements of this sketch and I can't wait to pop over to the TGF blog and see what the team has come up with!
I thought with the flower that was included in the layout that this would be a sweet sketch to use for this month's Amelia stamp. She's the other half of the 'My Favorite Things' set that I used for my Oliver card this week.
These stamps are SO fun!
I hope you will play along with us this week. Thanks so much for stopping by to see my card today. Have a great weekend!

Treasure
Hello, Friends!
Happy Wednesday to you!
My card for you today features another cutie from The Greeting Farm! This is Oliver from the new Oliver & Amelia 'My Favorite Things' set that was released June 1. I don't know what kind of magical powers these O&A stamps have, but every time I color one up and create a card, I just totally fall in love with it!! And of course I had a blast coloring up the fishbowl and adding crystal effects to make the bowl glossy. It's always a fun day when I get to pull out the crystal effects!
You'll notice that Oliver has a little Treasure...his first goldfish. :) I think the true treasure is the moment though...so many neat things happen in our lives and it's up to us to take them all in and enjoy. I tend to think, for myself the biggest collection of moments I have are from my childhood. I really loved being a kid. Something really funny that I did when I was younger (that I'm able to watch on video now) is that I asked my dad if I could hammer some nails. I didn't want to make anything...I had no plans...I just wanted to try it out. So my dad gave me a piece of wood, some nails and a hammer and I was off and running. I took my loot over to a corner of the front yard, sat down, put the board on my lap and proceeded to try and hold my first nail with one hand and the hammer with the other. Of course I just couldn't figure out why the board kept bouncing back and forth and why I didn't have enough strength to get the nail to take hold. My dad looked over at me and knew that I wasn't in any danger of hurting myself (putting a nail in my leg!) because there was no way I could get any leverage with the board on my lap. He let me do my thing for awhile to see if I would try out other methods and then he sweetly suggested that I might want to try putting the board on the ground and kneeling beside it. Of course then I quickly figured out that the board was on concrete and the nails only had an inch to go, but I didn't mind...I was just grinning ear to ear that I had used a hammer and nails. :)
I'm really looking forward to experiencing parenthood someday and taking in all of these moments of discovery with my own children...and of course capturing them on video (yes, I'm going to be one of THOSE parents). :)
I hope you're finding moments to be treasured today! Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Girl
Hi there!
I hope you're having a wonderful Tuesday!
I'm back with another Wild Sprout card and this time it's using Odette to make a birthday card for a sweet, sweet friend of mine!
Odette is pretty elegant and girlie, so I was trying to come up with a layout and elements to match her sweet and frilly aesthetic.
I decided to go with pink (of course) and teal and found that in these awesome Crate Paper-'Paper Doll' papers. I also realized that I had a piece of Basic Grey Capella (overjoyed to find this because I still haven't gotten my hands on the whole paper pack!) which turned out to be really lovely with the pink and teal. I probably would have matched this beautiful prima up with this card anyway, but when I saw the Mojo Monday challenge yesterday I knew it was a great fit for the circular element on the layout!
And that's the Odette Birthday card! (except it's not for Odette. heehee)
Wild Sprout Odette can be found at The Greeting Farm as part of the Roll Call stamp set!
Have a great day, my friends!!

Bejeweled and Bedazzled
Welcome to the Farm Fresh Friday with Glitz and lots of Bling! Today's challenge over at The Greeting Farm is to create a card that draws inspiration from your favorite piece of jewelry, a piece you're dreaming of having or simply something beautiful, glitzy or fabulous that has caught your eye---and to include a picture of that inspiration along with the post of your card.
My favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding ring, but I hope you don't mind, I decided not to use it because I didn't really feel comfortable posting a picture of it. Instead, I was truly inspired by this beautiful necklace I spied on Etsy. I love love love leaves and fronds and small flowers, so this piece really caught my eye.
I decide to use Cheeky Nurse for this card and bring in the flower and frond elements. I also really wanted to draw attention to the hint of red/orange on the necklace, so I used black and white and then added just a little bit of the color. Then I heat embossed the fronds with shimmer and tried my very best to show a few pictures of that sparkle! And last, I really wanted to have this card look aged/distressed and that's why I also stamped Cheeky Nurse on the patterned paper (it's not dirt!). LOL.
And that's my bewjeweled and bedazzled jewelry inspired card!
I hope you will join in on the fun over at the Farm too! Have a great weekend!
