Hi Friends!
It's Monday and you know what that means...a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant!
This week for TPE#123, we're challenging you to do some DISTRESSING on your card or project. All you have to do is show us some form of the distressing technique and then upload your project to Mr. Linky.
AND this week we are sponsored by Clear Dollar Stamps so you could win some of these adorable stamps of your very own, just for participating!
For my card I've used Birthday Fall Critters, which is digi set of 10 stamps!! I've paired the adorable owl image with papers from MME paper pad Darling Dear and one of the 6 sweet sentiments from this set. For Mr. Bday Owl I took a lesson from my dear friend and fellow teammate, Lori Boyd and outlined the image with a darker shade of cardstock and laid him upon some buttons from Basic Grey. I just LOVE this technique that Lori introduced us to with her some of her latest creations, so I had to try it for myself. This card is also a very special one, because it's a Birthday card for my DEAR friend, Jeanette! Her birthday was just a little bit ago, but I couldn't share her card until today! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope that you'll join in on the fun this week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog! Be sure and check out all the amazing Clear Dollar Stamp inspirations that Ella's Girls have for you!
Welcome to my happy little crafting place! Come along with me as I journey through the depths of my creative mind. Let's inspire one another! Thanks for visting my page.

Hello, There!
Happy Thursday to You!
I LOVE Thursdays! It's the day that I get to share another fun Deconstructed Sketch with you!
We're on Sketch 25 now and Jen has given us another FANTASTIC one! I think I will definitely have to use this one again, because it's absolutely FAB-ulous and lends itself to so many different styles of stamps!
As you can see, I flipped the sketch and for this card I've used a very special limited edition stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps. This is Pink Ribbon Lilith and she is just one of the 4 stamps this month for $1 that will go toward the cause. I've been meaning to a do a card all month in honor of it being breast cancer awareness month and finally, I accomplished my goal! :)
Lilith is colored up in Copics and paired with papers from MME Lost and Found Blush paper pad, buttons from Basic Grey Origins and sentiment from MFT.
Be sure and check out all the AMAZING creations that the rest of the Sketch Girls have for you today and I hope you'll play along with us this week!! You'll be able to find all the DT samples in a special Sunday post on Jen's blog, but until then, have fun hopping around today to the list below!
Oh, and one more thing!! Congrats to our TWO Guest Designers, Andrea and Tracey! Please pop over to their blogs and wish them a warm welcome!

No Coloring??
Hello, Friends!
It's time for another fun challenge over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! This week SCRS #66 is create a card or project WITHOUT COLORING!! Yes, it's true--not an early April Fools! BUT, it's actually quite a fun challenge. All you have to do is create a card or project, using your choice of SCRS stamp and do not color with crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint, etc...
For my card I decided that I really wanted to make it look like a polaroid photo. So I stamped Bicycle Chloe, created a little snapshot frame and voila! The paper is the last (sniffle sniffle) of my SU Kraft CS, the ribbon is also SU--Bermuda Bay, the pearls are Kaisercraft and the sentiment is from MFT. OH and there are Stickles on Chloe's scarf.
We'd love for you to play along in this week's challenge! One challenge participant will win a stamp from SCRS! Be sure to pop over to the Sparkle Creations Blog and check out all the sketchy inspiration!! Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Tuesday!!

Deconstructed 4 Katie
Hello, There!
Happy Thursday to You!
I LOVE Thursdays! It's the day that I get to share another fun Deconstructed Sketch with you!
We're on Sketch 24 now and Jen has given us another FANTASTIC one! As you can see, a sketch is still a sketch any which way you flip it and I decided to flip mine sideways for today.
For my card I've used a VERY special stamp! This is one of the five stamps that you can purchase in a bundle HERE and all of the proceeds will go to Katie Renz and her family. You can read about Katie HERE to find out more, if you aren't already aware.
This stamp was designed and donated by Tammy Thompson of A Day For Daisies. I ADORE Tammy's stamps! And this one is oh-so sweet!
The papers for this card are Cosmo Cricket Clementine, the ribbon is SU, the buttons are Basic Grey and the sentiment is PTI. And little miss is colored in Copics, then slightly distressed with Tim Holtz ink.
Be sure and check out all the AMAZING creations that the rest of the Sketch Girls have for you today and I hope you'll play along with us this week!! You'll be able to find all the DT samples in a special Sunday post on Jen's blog, but until then, have fun hopping around today to the list below!

Card Kit
Hello!
Sorry it took me so long to get back you today! BUT I'm finally here to post my card kit card! I was so embarrassed that it was my month to send card kits to my sweet friends, Sandra and Mary and then I wasn't able to have my card ready this morning! Silly Kadie.
My friends, Mary, Sandra and I have been exchanging card kits sporadically for several years now and it's been so fun to work with the same elements and then see how similar or completely different our cards turn out! I think this time around our cards are very different, but all so FUN!
So what did I include in the kit? Papers from MME, TGF (yes old school TGF Sunny Glen paper!) and K&Company. As well as, two random buttons, ribbons from Impress and Amuse, a monogram letter for each of us, jewel dots and several flowers. AND of course this adorable All Star--a la mode stamp from My Favorite Things!! I ADORE these stamps!!
And that's the kit! Thanks for your patience with my card. It just so happens that my tardiness allowed me to use this week's MFT sketch, so I'll be entering my card tomorrow morning as soon as I get a better picture.
Hugs and Happy Wednesday!! Be sure and check out how Mary and Sandra have used this kit!!

Hi Friends!
I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!
I'm back with another fun card for By LORi Designs! LORi has a TON of fun new digi stamps in the store and this is just one of the new stamps released for October. And just to continue to give you a heads up, the campaign Help4Katie continues and a new fundraising stamp bundle has been added to the site. You can check that out HERE and thank you in advance!!
For my card I used Puddle Jumper Ben to create a fun boy card. Ben is colored in Copics and the papers are Fancy Pants--Off to School, the buttons are basic grey, the sentiment is PTI and the card is tied all together with a bit of hemp twine.
I know it's kinda simple, I really like how it turned out and I hope you like it too!

The Sweet Smell of Pumpkin
Hello, Friends!
It's time for another fun challenge over at Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! This week SCRS #65 is another beautiful photo inspiration! All you have to do is create a card or layout, using your choice of SCRS stamp and the photo below (for full size photo please go to SCRS Blog).
For my card I've used Karber's You Are So Sweet (Leslie) again and paired her with papers from Papertrey Ink--a fabulous combination of patterned papers for Fall! Leslie is colored in Copics and embellished with MME Lost and Found Burlap and a button from Basic Grey. And the sentiment is included in this super cute set. Nothing says "loving from the oven," like some YUMMY Pumpkin Bread (and a pumpkin spice latte to compliment)! I'm dreaming of that wonderful aroma right now!
We'd love for you to play along in this week's challenge! One challenge participant will win a stamp from SCRS! Be sure to pop over to the Sparkle Creations Blog and check out all the sketchy inspiration!! Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT Tuesday!!

Score It
Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
It is certainly a Happy Monday, because I'm back with another fun challenge for The Pink Elephant! Wooohooooo!
This week's challenge #121 is to using the SCORING technique. ANYTHING GOES as long as it incorporates scoring into your card or project!
For my card, I've used this adorable 'You Are Unrepeatable' A la mode from My Favorite Things Stamps. And actually, this is a card that I've been patiently waiting to share with you for a little while now. My monthly stamp group (affectionately name the Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards) had a CAS challenge recently and this was my card for that as well. I just really wanted to highlight the stamp and I feel a little white cardstock and a SCORED border does that in a strikingly, eye catching way. I also included a piece of Dusty Durango on the inside for a pop of color!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope that you'll join in on the fun this week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog! Be sure and check out all the amazing Scored inspirations that Ella's Girls have for you!

HELP4Katie--A Special Request
I am writing this morning about and for Katie Renz you can meet her HERE on her Card blog and HERE on her Family Blog.
We're trying to get the word out to both cover Katie with prayer and bless the Renz family with a financial gift.
LORi Boyd was asked at the start of the year to design a stamp for Katie and her family. She ended up getting an email from Katie, herself telling her how much she loved it. Katie said it really was her boys and was very appreciative.
So, at this time LORi and the rest of us would like to do a HUGE push of this image for The Renz Family!
It just so happens that Katie's 2 little guys have a birthday on the 19th of this month and her older boy has one on the 1st of December. The hope would be that we all could bless them with a wonderful birthday and Christmas, so that Kevin and Katie do not have to think or worry about that (especially in light of the medical bills they are incurring too)!
The stamp is shown above in the Help4Katie logo, but I've also included an example below, of a card made by LORi.
You can help this cause and BLESS THE RENZ FAMILY, by purchasing this stamp for $5. And then you can bless them further (if you wish) by creating a card and sending it to them (CLICK HERE for details on where to send your card).
Many of you may know that she has a wonderful husband, 3 beautiful little boys, that she is a super Mommy and way talented crafter...she also has Stage 4 Gastic Cancer.
Today, her husband wrote an update on her blog. This is so sad; our hearts are broken and we continue to pray for Katie's Miracle!!!!! AND YOU CAN HELP

Hello, There!
Happy Thursday to You!
I LOVE Thursdays! It's the day that I get to share another fun Deconstructed Sketch with you!
We're on Sketch 23 now and Jen has given us another FANTASTIC one! I think I will definitely have to use this one again, because it's absolutely FAB-ulous and lends itself to so many different styles of stamps!
For my card I've used a VERY special stamp! This is Jack O Light, from the BRAND NEW Country Bumpkins Stamp line over at Peachy Keen Stamps. Not only is this stamp special because it's the first ever CBS I've gotten to play with, but it's special most of all, because one of my dearest friends, Lorie Souther is the artist!! She's SUCH an incredibly talented card maker and now stamp designer too! I'm so proud of Lorie and excited for her on this new journey.
For my Jack O Light card, I actually used two of the four sentiments. The first is the "ready.set.glow" and the second is the phrasing I used as a background stamp for the pumpkin. The papers for this card are from Fancy Pants Oct. 31 and the buttons are Basic Grey. And if you want two challenges in one, I've also entered this in the ABC challenge for this month, to use Pumpkins!
Do you love sketches? Would you like to be a guest designer for The Deconstructed Sketch? Jen is holding a contest using this week's sketch to find a VERY SPECIAL designer to guest with us from November 3, 2011 to January 26, 2012. That's THREE months designing with the Deconstructed Sketch Girls! If you are interested all you need to do is make a card using this week's sketch and add your card to InLinkz on Jen's blog by October 19, 2011 at 8 pm CST and add GUEST to the end of your name when linking up. If you are selected Jen will contact you regarding the specific duties for the three month term.

Happy Waiting
Please scroll down for my Sparkle Creations post or click HERE. Thanks!
Hi Friends!
I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!
I'm back with another fun card for By LORi Designs! Did you spy all of those fun new digi stamps in the store?? LORi has created another FAB release for you, filled with cutie pie PJ's, Lollipops and Sugar sticks!
For my card I used Lollipop in "Waiting" to create a card inspired by a dear friend of mine who recently found out she is preggers! Hoorah! I also decided to go with a relatively CAS layout and let the immie and the stitching do all the talking (although the stitching is now really hard to see in the photo). As I said, The stamp is Lollipop--Waiting (Mommy) and the papers are My Mind's Eye Six By Six, the ribbon is SU, the brads are Making Memories and I tried for a bit of humor by using that fun SU sentiment. :)
I really like how it turned out and I hope you like it too!
Be sure to check out what my fellow Lollipop Girls have for you today over at the BLD Blog!
