A Whole Lot of Color

It's Monday again and I have a new card for you! I hope all of you had a fabulous weekend, especially all you beautiful moms, moms-to-be and future moms. I'm in the latter category right now, except for being a mom to my wired puppy, Winston. :)

For today's card I wanted to do 3 things. I really wanted to use Hope from the new Hope and Grace set at The Greeting Farm, I wanted to use an old sketch challenge from over at SCS (which I cannot for the life of me find the number now but I will get back to you when I do) and I wanted to use this new Nana's kids mat stack I bought in my Michael's paper splurge a couple weeks ago. I succeeded in all 3, but let me tell you it is way out of my comfort zone to use these kind of colors. I usually go for the softer, earthy, or more darker toned stuff (very much like tomorrow's card). But since I was thinking outside the box, I also decided to bling it up! And hopefully you can tell that I had a lot of fun too!

I hope your week is full of fun and encouragment!

Deets:
Stamps:
The Greeting Farm, Hope and Grace, Forest Friends
Paper: Nana's Kids mat stack, Summer Sun, AC Textured CS
Ink: SU! inks and aquapainter, Black Stazon
Embies: Jewel Dots, Primas, Pink Thread

  7. Thanks for all your comments, my dearies!! I covet them!

Just a little insider info, not to toot my own horn, definitely not...cause I'm my worst critic. LOL But all the stitching you seen on my cards is by hand. I do have a machine but it's deep inside the garage I've been promising my husband I'd clean.
