Project Baby Book

Good Morning! Happy Wednesday!
As promised, I have some pictures of my latest "project" to show you.

Earlier this year I went to a craft fair and there was a booth selling premade chip board albums, as well as blank ones. I ended up buying one premade so that I could keep an idea in my mind of how they were made, but then I bought several blank ones as well. Over the course of the last 2 weeks, I've been trying my hand at gluing, sanding and embellishing (the latter was the easiest!). My dear friend, Catherine has done many wood projects and she was kind enough to answer all my questions about how to do this and that and what products to use...I was especially concerned about the sanding, as I certainly have never done this on any of my cards! I had a lot of fun making this though and I am thrilled with the end result...I see some more in my future. :) Thanks for stopping by today!

Deets:
Paper: Crate Paper Little Sprout, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love
Embies: Basic Grey and SU! Buttons, Primas, Martha Stewart Thread, Misc Yellow Flower Buttons

  4. Ah! Kadie!! I can't believe it!! This is so cute!!!! I know you probably won't believe this, but I just ordered one of these (BABY) from Scrapbook Store At Your Door to make for my niece's new baby due in just a few weeks. I'm closing in on that crocheted baby blanket, so I thought I push the envelope and do one of these to go with it!! You can't imagine how happy I am that now I have your example to inspire me!! Woohoo, and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
