Tis the Season
Now that Halloween is over I can officially be excited about Christmas. I know that we still have Thanksgiving to look forward to, but the Christmas cups have already come out at Starbucks, so that means the joy of the season and happy people with warm drinks are upon us!
It was my turn to send out card kits this month to my partners in crime, Mary and Sandra, and I decided to send a nonChristmasy stamp with Christmasy patterned paper to see what each of us would come up with.
My little missy is delivering cream cheese gingerbread and nonfat eggnog lattes to her granny :) LOL (SB should pay me). I decided to make this card a little interactive too. I made the image into a bookmark and then added acetate paper to create a translucent pocket. I always wish I had more fun ideas for using acetate paper because I love how things turnout with it!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll go check out Mary and Sandra's creations too! AND if you like Hidden window, tag or other fun project ideas, please check out the ABC challenge site HERE. Thanks, Joni! :)
See you tomorrow for Farm Fresh Friday!

KADIE! You are awesome! I would have never thought of pairing her up with a Christmas card but she is perfect! This would make an adorable gc holder too, so wonderful. btw, I happened to see that the ABC challenge site this week is 'hidden' which means any card that has an extra element to it. Go now!!!
ReplyDeleteKadie, this is beyond gorgeous!! I loooove the light paper layered over the darker one and that pocket....phenom idea!!! The recipient could even use it as a gift tag on another present!! So creative! Thank you for an awesome kit this month sweetie!
ReplyDeleteKadie! I love the richness of the colors and you are freakin' BRILLIANT! A book mark integrated with the card! A ready made gift.
