Needing a Sentiment
Hi Friends!
Today I have a card for you that needs your help! I just got this adorable new Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses stamp from All that Scraps and colored her up immediately! The card came together so quickly (that never happens!) but in the end I was at a loss for a sentiment and still am. Most of the time either I have a sentiment in mind when I begin or one just calls out to me when I look at the finished card...not this time! So, I would like to enlist your help!! Please leave a comment with some sentiment ideas and the winner will get a Swiss Pixie Nurse Nora stamp!! The sentiment can be as small as one word or as long as a sentence, it just has to have me saying, "yes, that's it!" when I look at this card. Thanks so much for your help!!
I'll see you all back here tomorrow for a SUPER fun Farm Fresh Friday!
Stamps: All that Scraps, C.C. Designs Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses, Michael's Stamp
Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade, AC textured CS
Ink: Copics, Memento Brown
Embies: Jewel Dots, Decorative Scissors, SU! Purely Pomegranate Ribbon
Hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteEspecially 'Fleur' You?
Seriously, I think sans sentiment looks great! Love the big pretty bow, and she's colored beautifully.
Hi Kadie. Just love this card and that super bow is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSentiment:
SCENTED BOUQUET OF LOVE
Happy Crafting.
Love Sandra xx
This card is so adorable Kadie. Love everything about it. Sentiment: Our Love is as Sweet as Roses
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful card!!!

ReplyDeleteLOOOOVE this! I think this has got to go into the favs basket. Seriously this is perfect! Love the hearts dangling from the ribbon. Gorgeous ribbon and paper pairings.
ReplyDeleteHow about:
"All you need is love"
"A rose by any other name..."
"My heart belongs to you"

ReplyDelete"I adore you!"
ReplyDelete"Loving you is easy."
"You're the one!"
"Sweet love"
"Baby love, be mine!"
Okay I can't think of any more. You've hijacked my brain for 33 mintes - how fun! I better get back to work!! LOL ;)
You've got my mojo going, I'll have to wait another 6 longhours before I can get started on some SWEET LOVE cards myself ;)
Ya.. that would be my 1st choice "sweet love" for a sentiment on your card; great card for a daughter or best friend too! Good luck!
Ooh fun contest Kadie!!
ReplyDeleteFirst off - super duper cute card, that DP is yummy and the bow is perfect with the cascading hearts!
How about:
"A dozen reasons why I {heart} you"
:)
Happy day sweet Kadie - and thank you for visiting my blog hop!!!
So gorgeous card Kadie,i love your image and colours.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous papers.
Hugs Riet.xx
What a darling card!
ReplyDeleteSending you a bunch of love! :)
Oh lovely! How about "you make my heart bloom" since the trail of hearts makes me thinking of bleeding heart flowers (which are some of my faves!).
ReplyDeleteOh totally CUTENESS!!
ReplyDeletethis card is adorable! The first thing that comes to mind when i see it is the song by Phil Collins...
ReplyDelete"when I'm feeling blue,
all i have to do,
is take a look at you"
that might be a bit long for the outside though... lol
Oh Kadie, what a beautiful card! I just love the colors, the image and all the fabulous detail. I do not think it needs a sentiment. Some cards just do not. But if you really want I think something simple like Love, or Hello. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! I haven't read the other comments yet but the first thing that I thought of when I saw it was "Love you Bunches".
ReplyDeleteHmmm, how about the "If friends were flowers, I'd pick you!"
And just having read about the tragic situation in Haiti, I thought of "Where flowers bloom, so does hope" (the quote - not sure who that is?!)
Hugs!
Hi Kadie! You will have to keep me out of the drawing because I have no sentiment options for you - I am ALWAYS leaving off the sentiment!! Lovely card! :-)Traci
ReplyDeleteLOL... I think WickedPixie should win... no sentiment at all ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious card, Kadie!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you will like this sentiment, but since Sweet Pixie is holding bouquet of roses(rose buds) it can be like this:"You and me... buds forever".
Under the word "buds" I mean bodies, two souls, two people who love each other. :)
