Up, Up and Away!
Hi Friends!!
Thanks for all of your sweet comments on my posts the last few days. You really know how to make a gal smile!
I have been meaning to start making some Valentine's Day/Love themed cards and this one may fall into that category. Normally, when I think of this LOVE related holiday I think of pinks and purples and reds and hearts, but when I sat down to make this card I only ended up with the heart part! :)
I was looking through my papers and haven't used nearly enough of this fantastic Nutmeg DP from Cosmo Cricket so I decided to see how it looked paired up with one of the new Valentine Critters stamps from All That Scraps. What do you think?
I also used the punch I got from Sale-a-bration...and I have to be honest, it doesn't punch very well; kinda tears the paper up. You can't beat a free punch though!! And I do love the look of the little scallops.
Thanks for stopping by today! Tomorrow I have the priviledge of being included in the New Release Blog Hop for the Hannah Belle stamps at Fresh Brewed Designs! I hope you'll stop by and check it out!
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteReally like your idea with the sentiment and buttons! Your cards always bring a smile to my face, because they come from the heart!
Love that paper (looks like something I've been hoarding for a few years - LOL) and the idea of non-traditional Valentines. So sweet! And "mmmmm.....buttons"! :D
ReplyDeleteKadie this is so so cute.
ReplyDeleteThis is sooo adorable! I love the looks of the non-traditional Valentines color for the more earthy tone with a splash of bright colors in the balloons.
