All Smiles
Hiya!
Today I'm here to give you all a little sneak peek of what's to come tomorrow over at Claudia and Company!! There are going to be 3 incredibly cute stamps released tomorrow, just PERFECT for the month of October!!
I'm sneakin you a peek of Mr. Smiles, here today and he was designed by C&Co's new artist Jane Beljo. He is JUST the kind of monster that I'd be friends with...one that makes me SMILE! :) And this adorable guy comes with both the 'smile' sentiment and the polka dot arrow that I've snuck onto this card! 3 stamps for the price of one! :) The paper is K&Company and the white fire is punched with the Martha Stewart Grass Punch.
To check out more previews (there just might be some Lori Boyd Puddle Jumpers!!) make your way over to the fab blogs of my DT buddies (links listed in my side bar).
Have a fun day and I'll see you back here tomorrow for the party! ALSO, the winner of my blog candy will be announced TOMORROW (on a separate post), so look for that! Yipee!!

U is for...
Hi Friends! Happy Friday!
I'm back today with another fun Puddle Jumper card! I've been building my collection of PJ's and Lollipops (designed by the fab Lori Boyd!) for quite some time now (even before I had the honor of being on the Claudia & Company team). And of course I've been having the best time making sure each of these cuties gets well loved and well inked!
This is Puddle Jumper Ella and she is all decked out in her fancy dress to deliver a very special message! Isn't she darling? I've paired her with some super sweet dp that I found while I was on my trip last weekend...I believe it is from WeR Memorykeepers (72 and Sunny). I also added some primas, linen thread, a clip from SU and my hand stitching. PJ Ella can be found in the DieCutsRUs store in the Claudia & Company stamp section. :)
And that's it for today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! See you next week!

Life is Sweet
Hello!
Happy Wednesday!
It took me a little while to get back in the swing of things after a few days off (been working on this card little by little for 3 days! lol), but we had a wonderful, wonderful time away. Thanks so much for the sweet anniversary wishes! I've included some pictures below from our weekend away. Apparently there was some kind of Austin Healey convention in town (unless all the Austin Healeys live in one town), so I apologize if this is your car that I am posting a picture of, but I just thought it looked brilliant with the orchard in the background!
My card for today is kind of whimisical. I've used a stamp that I bought from Funky Kits and it's in the Lucy line made by Kanban Crafts. I wanted to use as much of the image as I could on my card. Normally, I work with smaller layouts because of smaller stamps and I have a more difficult time using a larger pallette. But I must say...I'm starting to get hooked on the square cards!
The patterned paper I've used for this card is Sassafras Indie Girl and the flower was created using the delictible PTI dies that I couldn't resist buying after getting to play with them at my friend Mary's house. The sentiment is from one of the Pure Innocence sets and the punch is Martha Stewart. Oh and the image is colored with Copics and spritzed with Smooch Spritz (you can see just a hint of sparkle on the green background, but it's all over the image too)!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Only a few more days before a winner for my blog candy is chosen! There's still time to put your name in though!

2 Cute!
Helloooooooo, Happy Friday!
I'm here with another card using the adorable Puddle Jumper Baby Jackson! Perfect for a baby boy card! You can find Baby Jack and all the other cutie pie Puddle Jumpers in the Claudia & Company line at DieCutsRUs.
I'm sorry to keep this short and sweet today but I'm off on vacation and my mind has already checked out for the weekend. heehee.
Have a FAB Friday!

Trick or Treat
Hiya!
How are you on this fine Wednesday? It really is a great Wednesday for me because it's my last day of work before vacation!! Woohoo!! Me and the Hubs will be celebrating 5 years of marriage and are taking a few days off to get out of the city.
Before I go outta town though, I have a card for you today! So many fun Halloween stamps are popping up all over the Web (haha, pun intended), it's really gotten me in the trick or treat mood. My card for you today features a new stamp from the Ghoulies set at Starving Artist Stamps/Doodle Factory. His name is Frankie. When I first saw this stamp, I thought he would be perfect for a get well card. LOL---'heard you were feeling blue' or something along those lines. He's just such a cute little guy and looks like he's ready to send out some sympathy! But in the end, when I had the elements of this card all together, the sentiment didn't seem to fit as well. BUT that's okay, because I was TOTALLY in a trick or treat mood. :)
The paper on this card is My Minds Eye Boo to You, the button is Basic Grey, the ribbon is SU! and the sentiment is Amy R from All that Scraps.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I just might have another card for you on Friday (even though I'll be chillaxin by the pool). Hope you're having a great week!

Wish
Hello, Friends!
Today I'm back with a little birthday card that I made for someone I know who's turning 3 years old next month! Exciting! And hard to believe how fast time flies!
This card is a little bit different than my usual style...it has a little more of a scrapbook/collage feel to it. I really like how it turned out though.
The stamp I used is Birthday Lily Puddle Jumper and she's new this month from Claudia and Company Stamps (sold at DieCutsRUs). And I really wanted to pair Lily with one of these super fun playing cards from the MME Alphabet Soup paper collection. So that was my goal: use Lily and use the playing card...and that's how this collage-card came to be! I also felt brave enough to pull out my colored staples for the first time! I think I'm hooked now!
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today! Have a great one!

Seeing Red
Hi Friends!
It's Challenge time over at Claudia & Company!! This month's super fun challenge is to incorporate the color RED into your project! Easy Peasy, eh? Yes! So I hope that you will join in on all the fun!!
For my card, I've used Birthday Owen---I know, I know, you almost didn't recognize him without his balloons! I decided that I wanted to do a bowling party invite and so I altered the balloons out (just for this card). I've also gathered my bits of red from My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup paper, a PTI button (that I think kinda looks like a bowling ball!) and red thread throughout the different layers of the card.
Altering images is pretty simple and shows just how versatile your favorite stamps (like Puddle Jumpers!!) can be! For this alteration I inked up the rubber, wiped away the balloon with a tissue and then stamped the image. Any small spaces that didn't get stamped, I filled in with my Micron Pen.
And that's my card! I hope you will pop over to the Claudia & Company Blog and check out all the AMAZING inspiration provided by the DT!! And if you haven't picked up the September PJ's yet, you can find them HERE in the DieCutsRUs store! Also, Claudia just started a super duper deal over in the store--for every 10 C & Co stamps you buy (see the store for details), you get one free!! SO COOL! Happy Stamping!

A Blessing To Me
Hi Friends!
I'm back today with a very special card that I made for my sweet, sweet Mother-in-law! My DH's parents live over 4 hours away from us and we don't get to see them as often as we would like. But I cherish the times that I get to spend with my MIL and consider her such a great blessing in my life. It just so happened that DH's parents were able to visit us this past weekend and I wanted to create something special just for my MIL, so that she would know that she is thought of VERY often and very much loved and appreciated (love you, Carole)!
For this card I used the Diane Duda--Pure of Heart stamp that Funky Kits is selling and donating 100% of the proceeds to breast cancer research (there are two other stamps in the this fundraiser as well). I paired this sweet stamp with Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper, one of my fave sentiments from SU and my hand stitching. Oh! and I've also used Tsukineko sheer shimmer mist for the first time! I spritzed it on the image to make that angel shine (I wish it was visible in the picture---such a great product)!
Thanks so much to all of you who have entered my blog candy so far! I love reading all your comments and I'm getting so excited to do the drawing for the winners!! Just a few more weeks :) Have a great day!
Hugs and Blessings,
Kadie
