Goodship Lollipop

I grew up watching Shirley Temple movies (I loved musicals!) so I can't help but think of her singing, "On the good ship lollipop, it's a sweet trip to a candy shop..." when I see this adorable Lolli Anya! This is another fun stamp that The Greeting Farm released this month and the CADT did an AMAZING job showcasing her and filling our heads with song (so yes, of course I had to add another)!
I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday and I'll see you back here tomorrow.

The Little Things

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!
Okay, so...who saw New Moon over the weekend? I did! My brother, SIL and I all went and it was PACKED; hard to find 3 seats together. Actually, I had to politely ask someone to move over and we were 4 rows from the screen...alas, it only made Edward that much bigger to my eyes. Haha.
Well, it's a short holiday week, gotta love that! We'll be heading over the mountains to visit family for Thanksgiving. It should be fun! I hope it doesn't snow though! :) While I do love the snow, it has prevented us or made great efforts to prevent us from having pleasant journeys to visit our family in the past.

For today's card I used C.C. Designs Sugarplums Autumn Emma and I know she's a fall stamp but it just may be possible that she's sitting on that bench waiting for a few snowflakes to fall (she doesn't have to drive over the pass this weekend, she's a kid). I paired this stamp with some awesome Fancy Pants paper I was gifted and I just loved the printed sentiment so much, I just had to figure out a way to use it all!
Thanks for stopping by today and I WILL have blog candy this week to celebrate my 115 followers, but I'm still waiting for one more thing to arrive, so please keep checking back! :)
Hugs, kadie

No Patterned Paper??!!?!

Are you for reals?? LOL! This week's Farm Fresh Friday challenge is to make a card without the help of our dear friend, Patterned Paper. I can already see the tomatoes being thrown my way because this week's idea was mine. :) I just thought I'd get us all back to a bit of our grassroot days when we thought we had to buy all the SU background stamps to make bg's...which I did end up using for one of my two cards today! Haha. Well, I hope you have fun with this challenge and I can't wait to see what you come up with. Be sure and stop back to my blog next week because I'm going to be posting some blog candy to celebrate surpassing 100 followers. Wahooo! Thanks, Friends!!

Make a Wish

Once upon a time I wished that I would find a fun hobby...then I discovered stamping and found sooooo much more! I've found something I love and can pour my creative engery into, I've found AWESOME friends and I've found the joy of working on a fantastic design team for a super sweet company (TGF!).
Today is part two of the guest designer search/contest at The Greeting Farm. If it's your wish upon a star to design for TGF and you've already entered part 1 of the contest, then please join us for round two of Where the Wild Things Are! For this second phase we're continuing to use Marina's awesome animal stamps and this time also utilizing a FAB sketch created for us by the talented, Cindy Haffner! (see deets on blog)
Good luck and have fun!! Oh and Happy Friday the 13th!!!! boogity boogity

Tis the Season

Now that Halloween is over I can officially be excited about Christmas. I know that we still have Thanksgiving to look forward to, but the Christmas cups have already come out at Starbucks, so that means the joy of the season and happy people with warm drinks are upon us!

It was my turn to send out card kits this month to my partners in crime, Mary and Sandra, and I decided to send a nonChristmasy stamp with Christmasy patterned paper to see what each of us would come up with.
My little missy is delivering cream cheese gingerbread and nonfat eggnog lattes to her granny :) LOL (SB should pay me). I decided to make this card a little interactive too. I made the image into a bookmark and then added acetate paper to create a translucent pocket. I always wish I had more fun ideas for using acetate paper because I love how things turnout with it!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll go check out Mary and Sandra's creations too! AND if you like Hidden window, tag or other fun project ideas, please check out the ABC challenge site HERE. Thanks, Joni! :)
See you tomorrow for Farm Fresh Friday!

You and Me

Hi Friends!
I'm back with a couple more digi creations, as promised.
This first one is another Adorable creation from Marina Neira. It's Archie and Marlene Harvest, available in digi form at The Greeting Farm! It's been so much fun working with these stamps! Sometimes it's really hard for me to figure out where I want to do shading when I'm coloring, but because Marina adds shading to her images, it's really helped me in that area of weakness! If you love Marina's images too and are interested in showcasing them, then please check out the DT call that TGF is having!

My second card is another fun teen image from Janet McDonnell's line for TGF. This one is A+ Anna. I just couldn't resist using this sentiment from the My Guy Ian set too. ALSO, if you haven't stopped over to the ICS blog yet, you should pop over and check it out. The Greeting Farm is hosting this week's challenge 42!! Such a fun sketch and a really talented design team to provide inspiration!
Have a wonderful day and I'll see you tomorrow for Nov card kits!

New Moon Trailer

10 more days and my SIL and I will be in the theater seeing New Moon. :) We're don't consider ourselves Twihards but we do enjoy a good story. And since the Twilight characters were what inspired some of my first creations for The Greeting Farm, I couldn't pass up the chance to play with these Wild Sprout digis that just happened to look a lot like Bella and Jacob! :)
I'll be back tomorrow with a couple more digi creations using Marina Neira and Janet McDonnell's stamps. Until then...have a fun Tuesday!
