It's In You!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday to You!

It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant and this week #283 is ANYTHING GOES!!

Create whatever your heart desires and submit it to the linky on the TPE BLOG. Hope you will share your projects with us!

For my card I've used a set from Stampin' Up and it reminds me very much of the year that I lived in Russia. Puts a big smile on my face and very fun to color! The ribbon is from Amuse Studio and the punch is Martha Stewart.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and your week is looking good too!

I'm back with another fun card and challenge for The Pink Elephant. This week your challenge is to create a card or project using the THEME of LOVE. That's it! Anything that speaks LOVE to you.

Can't wait to see what you create!

For my card I've used stamps from Amuse Studio for both the heart background and the main image/sentiment. The slate ribbon is also from Amuse.

Birthday Duel

Hi Friends!
I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!
I'm here with our first Dueling Darlings card of the New Year. This month our hostesses Judy (for the Divas) and Debbie (for the Dazzlers) chose Birthday's as our theme. Their idea stemmed from all things new in the new year and I love it!

Judy sent us an incredible array of papers, stamps and embellishments to chose from--it was hard for me to decide. That was actually what took me longest in creating this card. Once I saw that birthday spinner in the mix, I just had to figure out the best way to work it in! So I designed my whole card around it!

I hope you'll hop around with us today and see what the ladies have created for this January Duel! (names listed on sidebar)

Shaker Cards

I know it's been quite some time, but I'm back and ready to get my craft on!

Today I'm here to share this week's challenge #281 over at The Pink Elephant: Shaker Cards

All you have to do is create a card or project with something fun bouncing about inside and submit your project to the TPE blog. Here is an easy tutorial on SCS if you're looking to learn.

For my card I've used stamps from Amuse Studio with a few jewel accents and cut my shaker element from the diagonal rays bursting from the background stamp. Inside is a bit of heavy confetti to help this card be extra rockin'.

Hope you'll play with us! Have a great Monday!

October Dueling Darlings

Hi Friends!
I'm here with another round of Dueling Darlings! I'm so sorry to have missed a few months, but I hope to catch up on those real soon.

I'm very happy to be joining in this month on LJ and Terry's, "Eat, Drink and Be Scary" theme. I was SO EXCITED when I spied this lil witchy-poo from MFT because I love Torico's stamps so much!! This cutie is from the MFT set, Witch Way Candy and colored up in Copics.
LJ provided us with such a fun collection of papers and embellishments--one of my fave color combos! The papers and buttons are from Basic Grey, Eerie and the twine is from Doodlebug.

We were also asked to share what one of our favorite treats as a kid was and I would have to say anything chocolate. I would save all my chocolate bars until the end and then I would try and save them as long as I could. Junior Mints have always been my favorite.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will leave some love for all of the Dueling Darling Divas and Dazzlers located on my sidebar!

Birds of a Feather Flock Together

It is the 15th of the month and that means it's time for another round of Dueling Darlings. Kelly and Jeanette came up the idea for this group four years ago next month, so this is a special challenge and the theme is FOUR. Well, really, the theme is Birds of a Feather, but Four is a main component of this month's challenge.

This month's kit was a cornucopia of goodies and Kelly had many creative ways for us to use it all. First, we were to use 4 of one item (and there was a generous amount to choose from). I chose to use 4 flowers in my tree. The second suggestion was for us to use this awesome piece of burlap. I LOVE burlap on cards and thought it made a great backdrop for my tree. And lastly, we were to use the image we received in a creative way. The image of the tree had several components and as you will see in hopping from Darling to Darling, there are many different ways to use this stamp set.

And here is the inside of my card, using one of the sentiments from the kit.

I think I hit all the points of the challenge. While I haven't been a member of the Duel for all 4 years, I feel so blessed to join in the fun and form the friendships that I have through our love of card making. Thank you so much to Kelly for this kit and for inviting me to be a Diva!!

Lots of love to these Girlies!! Be sure and check out what all of them have created for you!

Made For You

Hi Friends! Happy Monday to you!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for another fun challenge over at The Pink Elephant

This week's challenge #257 is ANYTHING GOES! Create a card or project of YOUR CHOICE and link up to the TPE BLOG. Share your creativity with us!

For my card today, it's one I've been waiting to share until I had a challenge to fit. I made it awhile a go for my friend, Jeanette's swap. It features Chef Ian from The Greeting Farm and papers from Basic Grey.

Today is also a sad day for me, as it's my last TPE post for a few months. As I mentioned in my previous post, it's for a good reason though.
I will be back in January though, so don't lose my addy!! :)

Thanks for popping by today. Be sure and check out what's Ella's Girls have for you at TPE!

Sending Big Hugs

Hi Friends!
I am here with Deconstructed Sketch 157 (thanks for waiting for the picture of my card).

For my card I went a bit CAS and just used some patterned paper (My Mind's Eye), flowers (Prima) and sentiment from Papertrey Ink.

Today is a little sad for me as I'm going to be taking a break from the Sketch team and this is my last card for a while. But I'm taking some much needed family time, so it's a good thing!

I am going to be sending this card to a very special and dear friend of mine, but I also thought it quite appropriate for today and I say farewell for a little while. "Sending Big Hugs," is something I say often in times of joy, sorrow and all that in between.
And I say it to you today---thanks for encouraging me in my craft and popping by my blog!

Be sure and check out what the Sketch Girls have for you today!
