Spring is Here

BLOG CANDY posted HERE

Good Morning!
I'm so excited to show you my card for today! Spring is showing itself a bit here in Seattle with little blossoms popping up all over and the rain making an appearance (when doesn't it make an appearance!) to help the new life grow. I can even see bit of green foliage on my little hydrangea that I planted last year! This is a true bit of excitement for me because I don't usually have a good record in aiding my plants to have a long, abundant life. :)

SO, with that said...all of this Spring and Water and New Life reminded me of Water Lily Beauty from the Busy Beauties Boutique and I just HAD to whip up a card using her! Water Lily Beauty is one of the new stamps for March and I really love how she has a 20's charm to her, as well as being a beautiful water nymph! You can check out the rest of the March releases and what's currently in stock at the BBB HERE!

I also was inspired by two challenges for this card. I tried to go with the AWESOME layout for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge 66 this week. I loved the simplicity of this layout and thought it was perfect for using a larger panel for my image.
The second challenge that I thought this card might fit into since it celebrates Spring and "winged things" is the Chapter 5, Oh Alice Challenge. Chapter 5 is about the Caterpillar and we all know that caterpillars metamorphose into beautiful butterflies...so even though Water Lily is most likely a fairie...today she is a beautifully transformed butterfly!

I hope you'll go and check out these awesome challenges and be inspired by all of the amazing examples!
Tomorrow I'll be back with another Farm Fresh Friday, so be sure to check back. Until then, don't forget to sign up for my BLOG CANDY!

Curiouser and Curiouser

Hello on this fine Wednesday!
I'm sorry for the delay in my post today but I spent the morning taking my sweet doggie to the vet! Poor guy!

BUT I'm here now and I have another Alice in Wonderland inspired card!! This time it's my entry for the Chapter Two challenge on the Oh, Alice Challenge Blog. I just LOVE what the DT is showcasing there!!

I saw these Wonderland (Sassyland) inspired stamps from Sassy Studio Designs a little while ago and just had to have them! They are all so fun...and sassy! :)

The Chapter Two challenge is a sketch designed by the Lovely and Talented, Mary Giles...who just happens to be a dear friend of mine, so I had to play! And I hope you will play too! I can't WAIT to see the movie on Friday!!

Okay, that's all for me today BUT I will be back TOMORROW with new releases for The Busy Beauties Boutique and some exciting news on upcoming events for BBB!! Yipee!!! See ya later!

Eggstra Special

Hello My Friends!

I'm so sorry for my absence but I was off on a very fun and restful getaway with my Sweetie. It was just what I needed! And thanks to all who left me sweet sweet birthday messages...you totally made my day!!

I have a card for you today, as promised! I have had this adorable Easter Anya colored up for ages, with an inkling of an idea in my mind for her card. AND as I was piecing this all together I realized that the OH, ALICE challenge for this week (the very FIRST challenge) was providing me with that last bit of inspiration I needed to finish this card! Have you seen the Oh, Alice challenge blog yet? You've got to HOP over there right now and check out the AMAZING creations done by the DT!! Amazing! The color palette of my card may be needing a little bit edgier, distressed look as far as colors go but as soon as I saw makeup kit--I saw circles of color and Easter Bunny Anya hopping about! Too fun! Easter Anya is currently available at The Greeting Farm--now in rubber!

And that's all for me today...but it's nearing the time for another TGF release...so stay tuned for sneaks very soon!!
