Trick or Treat

Hi Friends!
I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!

I've got another fun card for you using this week's Deconstructed Sketch #124.

For my card, I've used a stamp that is from a line called Lil Lads (and Lil Lolitas), which was formerly Tickled Pink, but now can be found at All That Scraps. The sentiment is Amy R and can also be found at ATS.

I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out the fabulous creations of the other Deconstructed Sketch Girls!
See you back here next week for Sketch 125!

Fight Like A Girl

(click for clearer view)

Hello, There!
Happy Thursday to You!
I LOVE Thursdays! It's the day that I get to share another fun Deconstructed Sketch with you!
We're on Sketch 25 now and Jen has given us another FANTASTIC one! I think I will definitely have to use this one again, because it's absolutely FAB-ulous and lends itself to so many different styles of stamps!

As you can see, I flipped the sketch and for this card I've used a very special limited edition stamp from Tickled Pink Stamps. This is Pink Ribbon Lilith and she is just one of the 4 stamps this month for $1 that will go toward the cause. I've been meaning to a do a card all month in honor of it being breast cancer awareness month and finally, I accomplished my goal! :)

Lilith is colored up in Copics and paired with papers from MME Lost and Found Blush paper pad, buttons from Basic Grey Origins and sentiment from MFT.

Be sure and check out all the AMAZING creations that the rest of the Sketch Girls have for you today and I hope you'll play along with us this week!! You'll be able to find all the DT samples in a special Sunday post on Jen's blog, but until then, have fun hopping around today to the list below!

Oh, and one more thing!! Congrats to our TWO Guest Designers, Andrea and Tracey! Please pop over to their blogs and wish them a warm welcome!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Feeling Tickled Pink

click on pic for a clearer, less fuzzy look

Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another awesome Thursday challenge for the Deconstructed Sketch! This week we're starting off August in a fab way with Sketch 13 and a Sponsored Challenge!! Woohoo! You've been eagerly waiting, haven't you? :) I know I have!!
Our sponsor this month is Tickled Pink Stamps. They are an Australian based online company that stocks a range of popular and well sought after stamps from many companies all over the world and is always so excited to be supplying you with everything cute, quirky and PINK. They now have their very own Lil Lolita and Lil Lads along with the cute Lil Pinkette range.
(and the Lil Lolitas are some of my all time fave stamps. Check out my very first Lil Lolita card HERE).
For my card, I've used Lil Lolita Christina; colored in Copics. And she just happens to be fashioned after the Lil Lolita artist herself (drawn by herself too, of course)! And I've colored her hair red, but I'm pretty sure that the awesome Owner of TPS, Kelly, is the red-head of the bunch. :) You can find her Lil Lolita Kellita in the store too!
For the Lovely Christina's card, I've paired her with papers from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose collection and then added a chipboard embellie and rub-ons from Kaisercraft. You might even be able to spy a bit of Stickles and a jewel dot in there too.

The prize for one lucky participant this week, will be the winner's choice of either one rubber stamp OR 2 digis from the Lil Lad, Lil Lolita or Lil Pinkette ranges! Awesome!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!

Lots of Little Things

Good Morning!
I know, I know, it's been a bit quiet around here, eh? I haven't been working on anything Big this week, just lots of little stuff. But I wanted to pop on and say hello! And share a card or two. :)

This is a card I made using the new 60's Mod Ivy stamp from the Fashionista line at Tickled Pink Stamps! I think she is so sweet and totally reminds me of Mary Tyler Moore (I think I'll have to try an alteration with her hair shorter too). I paired Ivy with this new paper from Echo Park and a little bit of a funky layout. In the end, I think it might be a little too busy for me, but it is what it is! :)

I also thought I'd share a few other things from the past week that are a bit simpler.

I hope you're having a WONDERFUL week!! Don't forget to get signed up for TGF's Anniversary Blog Hop! I'll see you back here tomorrow for Maryland card kits!

Happy Sad, Sad Happy

Hello My Friends!

Today my card for you is a happy/sad juxtaposition. This card features Lilith from the Tickled Pink 'Lil Lolita' Collection; and as you can see she is not the happiest of happys at the moment.

You see, Lilith has a friend that is moving, a BFF even. And while Lilith is very happy that her friend is happy and off on a new adventure...she is sad too...because she will miss her friend's presence very much (someone should tell Lilith about the internet). :)

Anywho, I think these stamps from Tickled Pink Stamps are really fun and different and was excited to get them inked up. Generally though, I have a lot easier time creating happy, sunshiney cards, so with Lilith I just couldn't resist bringing in an ironic element and then tell a story for this card. Oh, and I also used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch 144!
I hope you like it! Maybe it will remind you of a time you had a sad/happy moment.

Thanks for popping by today!
