Deconstructed Sketch 187
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!
After 7 months from card making, I'm finally back in the swing of things! And it feels great!
I'm so thankful to have been reunited with my favorite design teams of Ladies at The Pink Elephant (Mondays) and The Deconstructed Sketch (Thursdays). I couldn't be more thrilled to be back!
For this week's Deconstructed Sketch #187, I've used this new stamp called Freckles from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps. I've colored this cutie up in Copics and matched her with papers from Doodlebug Designs.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will give all the Sketch Girls some love! See ya next week!

Silent Night, Holy Night
Hi Friends!
It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant! And this week your challenge #174 is to PUNCHES and/or DIE CUTS on your card or project.
For my card I've used a stamp from C.C. Designs (available at All That Scraps) called Meoples Nativity and paired it with papers from Echo Park Paper. I've used a few Nesties to meet the challenge this week. :)
The Meoples are colored in Copics and the buttons are from Basic Grey.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope that you'll join in on the fun this week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog! Be sure and check out all the amazing inspirations that Ella's Girls have for you!

Thank You

Hello, Friends!
I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday!
It's Deconstructed Sketch time again and we've got another Fabulous one for you this week!
For my card I've used an adorable Sugar Plum stamp from C.C. Designs for All That Scraps. This is one of the Emma stamps for the Take A Seat set. I've paired Miss Emma with papers from Cosmo Cricket Early Bird and sentiment from Stampin' Up. I also chose to go without any embellishments for this card. It's feels so strange to me, but I think I like it!
I hope that you will join us for sketch 65! Be sure to visit all the Sketch Girls to see how they've used this week's sketch. Have a great day!

Hi Friends!
It's Thursday again! Hard to believe, I know, but I'm so thankful that it is, because I get to share a new Deconstructed Sketch with you! And this one is special because in honor of Thanksgiving, you'll have 2 weeks to work on this one. So without further adieu, here is Deconstructed Sketch #28!
For my card I've used papers from Basic Grey Pyrus and SugarPlum stamps from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps (colored in Copics). I've also done a bit of hand stitching and the ribbon is SU Dusty Durango.
Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out how all the Sketch Girls have used sketch 28!

Beach Baby

Hiya! Happy Thursday!
I'm back with another FABULOUS Deconstructed Sketch today!! I just can't get enough of Jen's sketches. Every week I find myself soooo eager to see what her creative mind will come up with next!! Now we're at Sketch 6 for this week--how time flies!
And again, I'm LOVING the opportunity to get to ink up stamps I've been hoarding!

This week has got to be one of my fave sketches so far. I ADORE the twine wrapped panels with the circle in the middle. It leaves so much room to play, as well as a bit of negative space too...which I'm drawn to. I grabbed one of the cutie pie Sugar Plums from C.C. Designs over at All That Scraps (Bathing Beauty). I seem to be trying to beckon Summer lately with all of the fun beachy stamps I've gotten to play with, so I couldn't resist inking up this darling beach baby too and fitting her into that fab circular space in the middle of this sketch. I also really wanted to use some sweet and soft colors for this girlie card, because I don't do that often enough!
The papers I chose for this card are from an old K&Company paper line--which I think was intended for baby girl stuff. The twine is actually embroidery thread, something I always use for my hand stitching. And the Amy R sentiment is also from All That Scraps.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!

Thoughts of You

Hello There!
I feel like I was gone more than just one day and I've missed blogging to all of you! I know I said that you'd see me back with another card yesterday, but alas, I was home sick and tending to two crazy dogs. BUT I'm here today and this time with a card that just makes me SMILE! In fact, as I was packing up my bag to go to work today and placing this card in it, I said to DH..."look at this card, the sentiment is for you." He always makes me smile.
So, there are some exciting things coming up...Tomorrow my friends and I are back with our kit cards (after short 2 month hiatis), Friday is a very FUN Farm Fresh Friday and then LOOK for a follower BLOG CANDY post coming up early next week (you won't be disappointed!!)! Until then, have a Fabulous hump day!!
Hugs, Kadie

Up, Up and Away!

Hi Friends!!
Thanks for all of your sweet comments on my posts the last few days. You really know how to make a gal smile!
I have been meaning to start making some Valentine's Day/Love themed cards and this one may fall into that category. Normally, when I think of this LOVE related holiday I think of pinks and purples and reds and hearts, but when I sat down to make this card I only ended up with the heart part! :)
I was looking through my papers and haven't used nearly enough of this fantastic Nutmeg DP from Cosmo Cricket so I decided to see how it looked paired up with one of the new Valentine Critters stamps from All That Scraps. What do you think?
I also used the punch I got from Sale-a-bration...and I have to be honest, it doesn't punch very well; kinda tears the paper up. You can't beat a free punch though!! And I do love the look of the little scallops.
Thanks for stopping by today! Tomorrow I have the priviledge of being included in the New Release Blog Hop for the Hannah Belle stamps at Fresh Brewed Designs! I hope you'll stop by and check it out!
Have a great day!

Needing a Sentiment

Hi Friends!
Today I have a card for you that needs your help! I just got this adorable new Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses stamp from All that Scraps and colored her up immediately! The card came together so quickly (that never happens!) but in the end I was at a loss for a sentiment and still am. Most of the time either I have a sentiment in mind when I begin or one just calls out to me when I look at the finished card...not this time! So, I would like to enlist your help!! Please leave a comment with some sentiment ideas and the winner will get a Swiss Pixie Nurse Nora stamp!! The sentiment can be as small as one word or as long as a sentence, it just has to have me saying, "yes, that's it!" when I look at this card. Thanks so much for your help!!
I'll see you all back here tomorrow for a SUPER fun Farm Fresh Friday!

The Little Things

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!
Okay, so...who saw New Moon over the weekend? I did! My brother, SIL and I all went and it was PACKED; hard to find 3 seats together. Actually, I had to politely ask someone to move over and we were 4 rows from the screen...alas, it only made Edward that much bigger to my eyes. Haha.
Well, it's a short holiday week, gotta love that! We'll be heading over the mountains to visit family for Thanksgiving. It should be fun! I hope it doesn't snow though! :) While I do love the snow, it has prevented us or made great efforts to prevent us from having pleasant journeys to visit our family in the past.
For today's card I used C.C. Designs Sugarplums Autumn Emma and I know she's a fall stamp but it just may be possible that she's sitting on that bench waiting for a few snowflakes to fall (she doesn't have to drive over the pass this weekend, she's a kid). I paired this stamp with some awesome Fancy Pants paper I was gifted and I just loved the printed sentiment so much, I just had to figure out a way to use it all!
Thanks for stopping by today and I WILL have blog candy this week to celebrate my 115 followers, but I'm still waiting for one more thing to arrive, so please keep checking back! :)
Hugs, kadie

Deck the Halls

Good Monday Morning!
I had a wonderfully relaxing weekend! I did a little stamping, did a little cleaning...did a lot more stamping than cleaning...isn't that how it goes! :) And it rained rained rained! Josh and I went to go get coffee Saturday morning but couldn't find any umbrellas...so we decided to experience Seattle at it's finest and ended completely soaked. It was fun though!
On to today's card: I recently took advantage of the new stamp presale at All That Scraps and this cutie Trevor stamp was one that arrived on my doorstep!
This month's theme for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards (a monthly swap group) is Christmas cards that include a Christmas memory, but the kicker is that we can't use Red or Green. So...I've been thinking about this card. Besides wrapping presents, which is my all time favorite thing to do at Christmas time, many of my fond memories are from when we've gotten our Christmas tree and then proceeded to decorate it with all the trimmings! Although I did use a bit of green on this card, it's the nontraditional green...so maybe it will be okay to submit. :)
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that your week is SUPER!

My Favorite Season

Morning! Did you all have an exciting weekend? It was so much fun to see kiddos dressed up. I always love when babies are pumpkins! So cute. And the TGF release was pretty stellar last night too...those girlies had me laughing laughing laughing. Good times.
Well, just because Halloween has passed doesn't mean that Fall has too. I love the Fall...it's my favorite season. So, today I have this cutie pie Swiss Pixie for you in celebration of both my favorite season and my favorite color (orange!). Her wings are sparklie in real life but I just can't seem to figure out how to get my camera to capture the clear Spica pen. But they're sparklie, I promise!! :)
I hope you have a wonderful day! The first of the month is always SOOOOO exciting in stampland!!

School Days

Hello Friends!
Sorry for my absence this week! I have a card for you today that I've been working on for several days now. I was working to find all the right elements I wanted to use and it wasn't until I received a package the other day with sme blog candy I'd won that it all came together. Thanks, Rachel! :)
This stamp is from All That Scraps. Her name is shy Kiki La Rue and she was a gift to me by some gals who are very near and dear to my heart. The gals in our swap group called, The Sisterhood of the Traveling cards were so sweet to give me a very generous gift card to ATS and this is one of the stamps I was able to purchase. Thanks SO much, Girls!

This stamp and this card take me right back to my school days...hopscotch and spelling bees and recess...what fun!
Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget, tomorrow is FFF at The Greeting Farm!

Growing Friendships
Hello my Friends!
The card I have to show you today is for a sweet friend of mine. It was inspired by this card created by the amazingly talented Amy Sheffer. Ever since I started my first swap on SCS, God has truly blessed me in getting to meet the most wonderful group of women. Some of these women popped into my life right away and others have appeared along the path...but it's always amazing to me how we've bonded so closely and no matter the timing, each person fits into the group so marvelously. I truly cherish these friendships and the support that we all lend to one another. In fact...this stamp is from these wonderful women!! Thank you soooo much!!

Thanks for taking a look at my card today! Have a fantastic weekend!

Soar High

Hi Again!
I have another card to show you today (I had to run home first). I was lagging behind my crew today. Sandra, Mary and I have started a card kit challenge. Last month Mary sent us a kit and we all posted our cards on the same day, which showcased the same image, paper and embellishments. Well, it's round two and this month was my kit. It was so fun to gather elements to send to my girlies...so much fun I had to stop myself from going overboard! Anyway, here is my little pixie, Heidi and you can find her at All that Scraps. The only thing you can't see very well from my (home) pic is that the wings are covered in Spica and very sparkly. Thanks for joining the 3 of us today and look for us to join forces again the first week of next month!

If you'd like to play along with Mojo Monday 98 too, check it out here! Have fun!
