February Duel

Hello and welcome to another fun challenge for The Dueling Darlings!

This month our hostess for the Divas is Laura Jean and the hostess for the Dazzlers is Darlene. And since February 10th is National Umbrella Day they chose a little bumbershoot for us to showcase on this month's card!

Thank you, LJ for the amazing kit and for the fun challenge. Please stop by the rest of the Darlings blogs and see how they used their kits (see blog links on side bar).

Have a great Sunday!

I've paired her with one of my favorite papers from October Afternoon and just a splash of embellishment; cantaloupe ribbon from PTI and misc. espresso colored brads.

Deconstructed Sketch 187

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!
After 7 months from card making, I'm finally back in the swing of things! And it feels great!

I'm so thankful to have been reunited with my favorite design teams of Ladies at The Pink Elephant (Mondays) and The Deconstructed Sketch (Thursdays). I couldn't be more thrilled to be back!

For this week's Deconstructed Sketch #187, I've used this new stamp called Freckles from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps. I've colored this cutie up in Copics and matched her with papers from Doodlebug Designs.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will give all the Sketch Girls some love! See ya next week!

Red and White Inspiration

Hi Friends!
Welcome to another challenge for The Pink Elephant!

This week challenge #284 is to use the inspiration photo below and create a card or project. Then submit your creation to the TPE blog and show us your inspiration!

Hope to have you play along!

For my card I've used a stamp set from Amuse Studio and cut out around the border to leave the inside open for my scraps of patterned paper. I used the heart stamp that it's included in this set and added some icicle Stickles to make is sparkle. Hope you like it!
