Big Thanks

Hello and happy Tuesday to you!

I’m back with a card I’ve made for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, “Anything Goes.”

I’ve had this digital stamp from Sweet November Stamps colored up (using Copics) for a while now and just waiting for the right card inspiration. He is called, Thankful Cutie Boy (and he certainly is!). I love all of Amy’s cuties, but this one reminded me especially of my sweet son, so it warms my heart extra!

I’ve also paired him with die cuts from MFT stamps and patterned paper from Doodlebug Design.

Thanks for popping in for a look. You can also find me on Instagram @kensley.mymindseyecreations if you prefer that platform

Pastel Inspired

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant and this week TPE293 is to use PASTEL COLORS. That's all you have to do, use some pastels on your card or project and link up to the TPE Blog.

For my card I've used a Sweet November stamp, designed by Amy Young for All That Scraps. I've colored this Easter cutie up with Copics and added some grass and flowers using Martha Stewart punches. Then there is a just a touch embellishment at the top with some pastel scraps of paper and buttons from Basic Grey.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out the inspiration over at TPE!!

Sweet November Elsie

Hi Friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of Sweet November Stamps Sneak Peeks!
I'm so excited because I have the honor of sharing a few previews with you this week for the May release of Sweet November stamps at All That Scraps!
Today's preview is of Elsie! Artist Amy Young has outdone herself once again in coming up with a fresh new style of stamps for her Sweet November line and Elsie is joining Tilly (shown yesterday) as another beauty you're getting to see this week!

For Elsie's card I wanted to do some patterned paper mixing, as well as play with some fun shapes. I've used papers from My Mind's Eye, ribbon and sentiment from SU, button from Basic Grey and Elsie is colored up with Copic markers.

You'll be able to purchase Elsie and all of the May stamps at All That Scraps on Thursday, May 3rd at 8am CST. Until then enjoy the rest of the sneak peeks!!

Thank you to Amy and Marion and Nancy for allowing me to tag along this month! Be sure to stop by their blogs and leave some love, as well as the All That Scraps site...there just may be a SNS stamp up for grabs!

Sweet November Tilly

Hi Friends!
Happy May Day!
I'm so excited because I have the honor of sharing a few previews with you this week for the May release of Sweet November stamps at All That Scraps!
Today's preview is of Tilly! Artist Amy Young has outdone herself once again in coming up with a fresh new style of stamps for her Sweet November line and Tilly is just one of the beauties you'll get to see this week!

I decided that instead of using patterned papers for my card, I would create my own garden for Miss Tilly using some fun dandelion stamps I had in my stash. And then, as I was racking my brain for what sentiment would finish this card off perfectly, I decided that one that used "grateful" couldn't have been more appropriate! I love it when that works out :)

You'll be able to purchase Tilly and all of the May stamps at All That Scraps on Thursday, May 3rd at 8am CST. Until then enjoy the rest of the sneak peeks!!

Thank you to Amy and Marion and Nancy for allowing me to tag along this month! Be sure to stop by their blogs and leave some love, as well as the All That Scraps site...there just may be a SNS stamp up for grabs!
(dandelion and sentiment stamps are Papertrey Ink)

It's the Little Things

Hi Friends!
Welcome back for another bright and sun-shiney Thursday and a new sketch over at The Deconstructed Sketch! This week we're rolling out sketch #39 and it's all about the hearts!
For my card I've used a wee Sweet November Stamp (Fairwee Jilly's Candle) that can be found over at All That Scraps. I decided I wanted to go with a little celebration theme this week, since I know of a few Sweeties with Birthdays this month! I've paired this adorable SNS Fairwee (by artist Amy Young) with papers from My Mind's Eye, OOO La La, as well as twine from MME too, button from Cosmo Cricket Social Club, pearls from Kaisercraft and a touch of Stickles (not visible to the camera). Oh and the sentiment is Stampin' Up.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll join in the sketchy fun this week!

You're Just Right

Hi There!
It's a very fine Tuesday here in Seattle. The weather predictors are predicting that it will start to cool down today! This makes me sooooo happy. While it hasn't been in the 100's like other places...in the high 80's and 90's often feels like the 100's to us Seattlites who aren't used to the heat. Heehee.

Speaking of heat, today I have a fire-breathing MONSTER for you!! No cause for alarm though, because this little Baby Trick or Treat Dragon from the Sweet November line at All that Scraps, is just playing dress up! He has found some REAL LIFE dino friends along the way though! Baby Trick or Treat Dragon is just one of several adorable new Halloween stamps available in this line by artist Amy Young. His little dino friends are from The Greeting Farm's Oliver & Amelia Happy Day set and the paper is a combo from Cosmo Cricket's Matilda and Pixie-licious collections! I added little touches here and there using the Martha Stewart grass edge punch, Nestabilities die cuts, Sassafras Buttons and my hand stitching. OH and the sentiment is one that was included in with the Kraftin' Kimmie Goldilocks stamp! All of the sweet stamps on this card were colored with Copic markers AND the super fun layout is a CASE of this card that my sweet friend, Sandra gifted to me!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today! I hope you have a great one!

Easter Wishes

This is my first Easter card! I have been itching to use all the fabulous Sweet November stamps that I just couldn't resist snatching up from All that Scraps. The SNS are designed by the fabulous Amy Young, who inspires me daily with the cutest layouts and funtastic card ideas!
So for this card I've used Baby Bunnies Tulip and paired him with a cute little frog from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, as well as this fun Be Loved paper from My Mind's Eye! And as promised, I've used my Martha Stewart grass punch too!!
This was such a fun card to make!
Be sure to stop back tomorrow because I'll have another preview for The Greeting Farm and a small announcement about their next big customer challenge!
