Gettin Sketchy

Hi Friends and Happy Thursday to you!

I had a little extra time this week, so I decided to get sketchy and play with this week's Deconstructed Sketch #186. It feels so great to be crafting again!

The card I made was a request from a co-worker to give to a friend. I used stamps and ink from Papertrey Ink, papers from Stampin Up and flowers from Prima.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll play along with the Sketch Girls this week!

It's In You!

Hi Friends and Happy Monday to You!

It's time for another challenge over at The Pink Elephant and this week #283 is ANYTHING GOES!!

Create whatever your heart desires and submit it to the linky on the TPE BLOG. Hope you will share your projects with us!

For my card I've used a set from Stampin' Up and it reminds me very much of the year that I lived in Russia. Puts a big smile on my face and very fun to color! The ribbon is from Amuse Studio and the punch is Martha Stewart.

Thanks for stopping by today!

L.O.V.E.

Hi Friends and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and your week is looking good too!

I'm back with another fun card and challenge for The Pink Elephant. This week your challenge is to create a card or project using the THEME of LOVE. That's it! Anything that speaks LOVE to you.

Can't wait to see what you create!

For my card I've used stamps from Amuse Studio for both the heart background and the main image/sentiment. The slate ribbon is also from Amuse.

Birthday Duel

Hi Friends!
I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!
I'm here with our first Dueling Darlings card of the New Year. This month our hostesses Judy (for the Divas) and Debbie (for the Dazzlers) chose Birthday's as our theme. Their idea stemmed from all things new in the new year and I love it!

Judy sent us an incredible array of papers, stamps and embellishments to chose from--it was hard for me to decide. That was actually what took me longest in creating this card. Once I saw that birthday spinner in the mix, I just had to figure out the best way to work it in! So I designed my whole card around it!

I hope you'll hop around with us today and see what the ladies have created for this January Duel! (names listed on sidebar)

Shaker Cards

Hellooooooo!
I know it's been quite some time, but I'm back and ready to get my craft on!

Today I'm here to share this week's challenge #281 over at The Pink Elephant: Shaker Cards

All you have to do is create a card or project with something fun bouncing about inside and submit your project to the TPE blog. Here is an easy tutorial on SCS if you're looking to learn.

For my card I've used stamps from Amuse Studio with a few jewel accents and cut my shaker element from the diagonal rays bursting from the background stamp. Inside is a bit of heavy confetti to help this card be extra rockin'.

Hope you'll play with us! Have a great Monday!
