Hello, There!

Hi Friends!
It's Monday and I'm back with another challenge for The Pink Elephant!
For this week's challenge #159 Lori has created this fabulous sketch for all of us to play with!

For my card I've used another Moonlight Whisper from Kraftin Kimmie and her name is Superstar (haha, whenever I say that I can't help but think of Mary Katherine Gallagher). I just can't get enough of these fun stamps!

I've paired Superstar with papers from Echo park and buttons from Basic Grey. One of the buttons is actually green, but the lighting on my card is making it look a funny shade of yellow. :)
The sentiment is from PTI.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll play along with us at The Pink Elephant this week! In the meantime, check out what the rest of Ella's Girls have created with this fun sketch!

Scented Card

Hello, Friends! I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!

It's Deconstructed Sketch time again and we've got another Fabulous one for you this week!

For my card I've used a few flowers from the Amuse set, called Floral Duet and heat embossed them with the new SCENTED emboss powder from Stampin' Up! It's so much fun and my card smells super yummy! I really loved how different this sketch is...so many fun elements! The paper I've used for my card is from Basic Grey Konnichiwa and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

I hope that you will join us for sketch 62! Be sure to visit all the Sketch Girls to see how they've used this week's sketch. Have a great day!

Summer Fun

Hi Friends!
It's Monday and I'm back with another challenge for The Pink Elephant!

For this week's challenge #158 all you need to do is incorporate some SUMMER FUN into your card or project and link back to The Pink Elephant blog!

I started off making 1 card for this challenge and then I figured since I had a few more Some Odd Girl stamps with a SUMMER FUN theme, I would just go ahead and make another one for the SOG July sketch too! For my first card I've used a digi stamp from Some Odd Girl, called Water Fun. The second card showcases one of their clear poly stamp sets, called Beach Day Buddies. I paired both stamps with papers from Echo Park Paper, Paradise Beach and colored them up with Copics. The buttons are from Basic Grey Wander and Lime Rickey and the sentiment in card 1 is from Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll play along with us at The Pink Elephant this week!
In the meantime, check out what the rest of Ella's Girls have created to help celebrate Summer Fun!

Happy Birthday From Seattle

Hello, Friends! I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!

It's Deconstructed Sketch time again and we've got another Fabulous one for you this week!
For my card I've used this Hero Arts, Silly Scape stamp that my friend, Mary got for me at one of my fave local stamp stores called, Impress. I happened to visit there again recently and discovered that they are now carrying custom die cuts; this one of the Space Needle among their selection! I also picked up a few "Seattle" sentiments while I was there too, but since this card was a special bday card for another sweet friend of mine, it called for the appropriate greeting (from Stampin Up). :)
And the VanGogh-esk vellum background paper also happens to be from Mary. It was in a pack of odds and ends papers she picked up at Paper Source.

The sketch for this week was PERFECT for helping my little Seattle scene come together. And I can already see the Space Needle die in my future for Christmas cards this year!

I hope that you will join us for sketch 61! Be sure to visit all the Sketch Girls to see how they've used this week's sketch. Have a great day!

Orange You Glad

Hi Friends!
It's Monday and I'm back with another challenge for The Pink Elephant!

For this week's challenge #157 all you need to do is use ORANGE in your card or project and link back to The Pink Elephant blog!

For my card I've used Party Time Oliver! He is was brand new this weekend in celebration of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps 2nd Anniversary! Isn't he sweet? Check out their 4 NEW stamps in the STORE now!
I've paired Oliver with papers from Amuse Gingham and Kaisercraft Devonshire. The buttons are Basic Grey Lime Rickey, the twine is from Papertrey Ink and the brads are Craft Essentials.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll play along with us at The Pink Elephant this week! In the meantime, check out what the rest of Ella's Girls have created to Orange-y inspire you!

Wag More

Hello, Friends! I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!

It's Deconstructed Sketch time again and we've got another Fabulous one for you this week!
For my card I've used a stamp that I ordered from Amazon, because it looks just like my fur-baby, Winston! We have this saying in and around Seattle (and perhaps you have it near where you live too), "Wag More, Bark Less." Roughly translated--be happy, not snappy! And Winston is about the happiest little fellow I know! :)
The sentiment I bought from my local LSS: Impress, the papers are from American Crafts, the brad is We R Memory Keepers and the Ribbon is Papertrey Ink.

I hope that you will join us this week for sketch 60! And be sure to visit all the Sketch Girls to see how they've used this week's sketch. Have a great day!

Coffee Crusader

Hi Friends!

I just thought I'd pop in to say 'hello' and share a little card with you while I'm at it! :)

A friend of mine saw this stamp and instantly knew someone it applied too...I think many of us can relate!

So, I used my favorite Clean and Simple layout and created a card for her to give. The stamp I used is called Coffee Crusader and it's one of those irresistible Moonlight Whispers designed by Annie Rodrigue and found over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
I did just a touch of scoring and lined the inside to cover the Copic coloring left on the reverse side and VOILA...a card to make an coffee lover smile!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
