Say It Ain't So!

If you’ve already been over at The Greeting Farm blog this morning you know that on a happy note, it’s PREVIEW DAY (wooohoooo!!!), but on another note it’s a sad sad day for me (and Cindy). Today I’m showing you my last Farm Fresh Friday card as a Farmer for TGF. **insert big frowning face**

Thought us Farmers were lifers, eh? I wished on so many stars and birthday candles, but alas, our contracts are just for 1 year. And boy does a year FLY by!!

But it’s been the absolute best year and a half for me. When I got the email in March 2009 offering me a Gardener position, I had no idea what a wonderful journey I would be embarking on! I have grown so much in my craft, cultivated so many beautiful friendships and seen every room in my house fill up with stamping supplies (Mr. UPS man and I are best buds now)! I want to thank YOU all from the bottom of my heart for your support, heartfelt comments and friendship. And of course, Marie and Jess--words cannot express how truly grateful I am to the both of you! MUAH.

This is not the end of the road for me though…I feel there is something VERY exciting just around the corner for me…so I hope that you’ll check back real soon to see what that is. And until then, I’m having a little going away party for myself…see blog post below this one.

My Farm Fresh Friday card features Creeper Wednesday. And you may have noticed that on the TGF blog she was going out with a little more class saying, “this is how I roll,” but here on my blog she’s mocking me for being sad by saying, “Oh no! You’d better call the waaambulance.” Well, Creeper Wednesday…fine, call the waaambulance…there’s no shame in being sad today. Heehee.
The FAB sketch I used for this card is the FARM FRESH FRIDAY challenge for this week and it was designed by the talented Farmer Mercy. Both sentiments are from There She Goes Stamps, the paper is new from My Minds Eye called Blackbird, the button is Sassafras and the ribbon is Maya Road.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’m sending each of you a big virtual hug right now! AND be sure to check out the details of my BLOG CANDY below!!

Keep Rockin'

Hi Friends!
Happy Friday to you!
Today, I'm of course, back with another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge card from The Greeting Farm!
This week's challenge is a color challenge and it's one of my all time favorite color combos. Hawaiian Shores, Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss--aka Turquoise, Light Green and Orange!! AND you can use this color combo in ANYWAY you want to!!

For my card I chose to use Creeper Friday and pair her with Mercy Kerin's awesome Tuesday Sketch #87! Thanks for the inspirational sketch, Mercy!
And can I just say one more time how much I LOVE this color combo!! :)
The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye, the ribbon is Stampin' Up and Miss sweet and sassy Creeper Friday is colored with Copic Markers. Oh, and the 'Rockin' sentiment is TGF!!

I'm sorry that this post is short and sweet today...I had a ditzy story to share too (me being the dingbat), but then realized it might just be one of those things that is only funny to me! LOL! So with that, I'll just sign off and say Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll play along with us!! AND be sure to check out all the inspiration that the Farmers and Critter Crew have left for you over at The Greeting Farm Blog!!
Have a great weekend! (that's a lot of exclamation marks. heehee)

You're Just Right

Hi There!
It's a very fine Tuesday here in Seattle. The weather predictors are predicting that it will start to cool down today! This makes me sooooo happy. While it hasn't been in the 100's like other places...in the high 80's and 90's often feels like the 100's to us Seattlites who aren't used to the heat. Heehee.

Speaking of heat, today I have a fire-breathing MONSTER for you!! No cause for alarm though, because this little Baby Trick or Treat Dragon from the Sweet November line at All that Scraps, is just playing dress up! He has found some REAL LIFE dino friends along the way though! Baby Trick or Treat Dragon is just one of several adorable new Halloween stamps available in this line by artist Amy Young. His little dino friends are from The Greeting Farm's Oliver & Amelia Happy Day set and the paper is a combo from Cosmo Cricket's Matilda and Pixie-licious collections! I added little touches here and there using the Martha Stewart grass edge punch, Nestabilities die cuts, Sassafras Buttons and my hand stitching. OH and the sentiment is one that was included in with the Kraftin' Kimmie Goldilocks stamp! All of the sweet stamps on this card were colored with Copic markers AND the super fun layout is a CASE of this card that my sweet friend, Sandra gifted to me!

As always, thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today! I hope you have a great one!

Smiley Monday

Hi There! Happy Monday!
I had a wonderful weekend visiting dear friends and family. It was really fun and refreshing! How was your weekend?

Of course, I also snuck in a little card making time too this weekend! This is the card I made for this month's challenge over at the Claudia and Company Blog. This month is a really fun sketch by the talented Lori Boyd. For my card I've used Puddle Jumper Lucas and his little chick friend companion stamp! Originally, I started with a slightly different polka dot patterned paper as inspiration, but then as I was searching for paper in my stash for another card, I came across this paper instead! The first paper was fab too, it's just that sometimes a pattern is really cute but the design is more spread out (perfect for a scrap page) and then I end up cutting it up to fit on my card and it totally changes the look that I was originally drawing inspiration from. kwim? So then I found this paper (and slap my hand because I can't remember who makes it! Maybe MME?) and everything fell into place. :)

I've also paired Lucas and Lori's FAB sketch with a button from Basic Grey and a self adhesive chipboard sentiment from Momenta. And voila! That's my card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Many hugs,

Cheers to the Eternal 29

Hi Friends!
Wow, time really flies by. I can't believe it's Friday again! Yipee!!
That means I get to show you another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge Card!!
This week the challenge over at TGF is to create a card and use a number. I don't really have a favorite number, but there are a couple ages that I really enjoyed. Hmmm, I think I remember loving being 7, 20, 21, 22 and 29!! And don't "they"' say that '29' is the eternal age...for a woman you hit '29' and you just stop aging? :)
Well, it just so happens that I know someone who's going to be celebrating her eternal birthday once again and this card is to celebrate her.
Little Creeper Tuesday is thinking...29, eh? With a sly grin.

For my card I've used, as I said, none other than the adorable Creeper Tuesday from The Greeting Farm's August release and sentiment from the Talk Loud set. I've paired her with some fun papers from K & Company, DCWV, and Fancy Pants Rusted Sun. And the layout is the FAB Mojo Monday Sketch #150!

I hope that you'll play along with us! Be sure to head over to the TGF blog and check out all the number inspired cards today from the rest of the DT! Have a great weekend!

TGF Scrapbook Challenge

Hi Friends!
I'm back with something super fun today! The Greeting Farm has changed things up a bit and is now going to have a monthly scrap challenge, instead of a weekly scrap challenge. And all of us Farmers get to participate in it if we want to! Yay!

I have to be honest and say that I'm not as experienced in creating scrap pages, so please go easy on me! I especially apologize for the picture. I don't know how the amazingly talented scrapbook team, that we had the pleasure of being inspired by at TGF previously, got such AWESOME photos of their pages!! So any tips you can send my way are definitely welcome (please and thank you)! :)

Soooooo, for my page today I've used the FABulous sketch provided by Farmer Mercy and chosen to go with a fun photo I took while I was in Maryland visiting my friend Mary (yes, she has her own land! It's called Mary-land. LOL)! Mary took us to see an old plantation home and it had the most AMAZING garden! I've included a few more pics below, so you could see a little bit of what we saw. There were butterflies EVERYwhere and we all pulled out our cameras and snapped away; hoping to get at least one cool shot to capture the beauty. SO PRETTY!

Of course, I've also used stamps from the two TGF scrapkits Spotlight and Sunshine to help create my fun page! These sets are so versatile. Good for card making, scrapbooking, home decor, kids stuff and so much more!

Thanks for stopping by today. Head over to The Greeting Farm Blog and check out this month's challenge, as well as all the AMAZING inspiration!

Bear Hugs

Helloooooooo! Happy Tuesday!

Have you seen the awesome new Fairy Tale Moonlight Whispers at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps? I happened to be online window shopping a few weeks ago and spotted some of my favorite fairytale characters designed to look like the adorable Kraftin' Kimmie signature stamps (designed by artist Annie Rodrigue)! I've always loved fairytale stories...I think Sleeping Beauty is my all time fave. In this collection there's Cinderella, Goldilocks, Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel, Snow White and Swan Princess. Of course I had to snatch them all up, but when it came to inking I couldn't resist starting with Goldilocks!!

I just think her holding the 3 bears is the coolest idea and such a sweet sweet stamp! I colored Goldilocks with Copics and paired her with Basic Grey Oliver paper, PTI Ribbon and my hand stitching. I also used the fab Mojo Monday Sketch 151 for the layout!

And that's my card for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Happy Little Crafty Place

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!

I got some new fun stamps in the mail last week from all those awesome August releases and decided I needed to ink some of them up right away over the weekend!

This card features School Time Lucy and she is brand new this month from the Claudia & Company line over at Diecutrus! As I shared with you last week...I just can't get enough of these cuties!! In fact, this card was made using Gwen's sketch for crafty challenge #50 last week!
I paired Lil Lucy with Basic Grey Olivia papers, AC Dear Lizzy crochet flower, and a sentiment from Claudia & Company So Random Sentiment set.

Such a fun card to make! I hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

EDIT: OMGOODNESS!!! I've been spotted!! How cool is that? I have to say that I was blown away when I spyed that Lori and Claudia had seen my PJ cards and left oh-so-sweet comments. I'm thrilled beyond belief to be featured as a "you've been spotted" customer!! Thanks so much for creating such cute stamps to play with, Ladies!! (head over to the Diecutsrus store right now and check them out)!

You Rock!

Hi Friends!

I'm back with another fun card today! This is Creeper Friday (brand new from The Greeting Farm!) and she is my absolute FAVORITE in the Creeper Crew!! I was waiting on pins and needles for her to appear in rubber and now here she is! Yipee!!

I just adore her outfit, her hair, her style...everything! Okay, okay...I totally want to be her. :)
I had picked out this patterned paper from Basic Grey's Eva line prior to coloring the image, and thought it was so perfect for this Creeper. So then I wanted to create a fun and funky layout worthy of these super sweet elements. I decided to chop it up a bit and create some funky lines, as well as, incorporate my stitching. I also thought it would be really fun to use the little star 'bling' I bought when I was in Maryland. They are little faux swavorski charms from Jolee! I also did one minor alteration on her---changed her necklace into a heart.

And that's how this card came to be!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
OH and I also wanted to mention...If you LOVE The Greeting Farm and you're interested in working with the FABulous Critter images designed by artist Marina Neira, then check out the Critter Crew DT call!! What are you waiting for, hop over there today!

Tuesday with Sammy

Hi All!

Wow, what a great turn out for The Greeting Farm's Bday!! Thanks so much to everyone for participating and thank you too for the very sweet comments. I enjoyed reading each and every one of them!

I'll be back tomorrow with another TGF card, but for TODAY, I have a card made using this adorable Puddle Jumper, Sammy! Ever since I first saw these cutie PJ's, I couldn't help but find them irresistable! I even had to snatch up all of the cards a friend of mine made using them (I'm so serious)! They are just too too cute! I'm thinking someday when I have kids that I'll use all the PJ cards to decorate their room. :)

My card was made using Pink Paisley 365 degrees paper, SU ribbon, my handy dandy paper distress tool and hand stitched with lots of love. Sammy is just one of the fabulous Claudia & Company stamps (designed by the Talented Lori Boyd)that can be found at Diecutsrus.

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today and I'll see you tomorrow for something "rockin" :)

Happy Anniversary TGF!

It's Release Day at the FARM and we couldn't be more excited. This month marks The Greeting Farm's 2nd Birthday, so today we're having a BIG HUGE ALL CUSTOMER BLOG HOP, to celebrate this ANNIVERSARY in STYLE!! Be sure to check out the complete list of Blog Hop participant over at the TGF Blog! And join us for the live chat on PCP, going on 7pm-8pm cst. See ya there!

My card for today's celebration uses the NEW Flirty Anya!! And I thought I'd go for another fun element of Surprise with the sentiment on this one. It seems to fit Flirty Anya pretty well (sentiment from Inkadinkado and paper from MME).
AND today is the day where you can snatch up your very own Flirty Anya, as well as the other uber sweet stamps you've seen this week (Later Sk8er, Tuesday and Friday Creeper and Cupcake Anya Digi) over at the TGF store!

It's all in celebration of The Greeting Farm's 2nd Anniversary!! And what would be a party without gifts?? Of course there will be prizes along the way, so BE SURE to hit up all the stops along the hop and leave some love!! See you there!
