Hi Friends!
Welcome back to another awesome Thursday challenge for the Deconstructed Sketch! This week Jen's cooked up Sketch 12 and we've dished out some super fun examples to inspire you (can you tell I've been watching cooking shows, while on vacation this week?).
The sketch this week is so fun, because the layout works for a great variety of images...such as any of your favorite Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I've used Janelle from the Moonlight Whisper line at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and paired this champ with some DCWV papers. That funky-fun ribbon treatment is from Webster Pages and the flowers are from Kaisercraft. Oh, and I threw some Stickles in there too!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!

A Few of My Fave Colors
Hi Friends and welcome back for another FUN week at Sparkle Creations!
Today's Challenge is a color challenge! And those colors just happen to be the FAB teal/lime green color combo associated with the SCRS logo!! To play all you need to do is use any Sparkle Creations stamp that you fancy, combine it with a card or project using the below colors, and then post to the linky on the SCRS Blog. And as always, there's a stamp prize up for grabs to one lucky participant!! I hope you'll play along with us!
For my card I've used Rollerblade Chloe (it was a close tie last week as to whether I should use Bicycle Chloe or RB Chloe, so I just had to use the other one this week)!
I've paired Chloe with some fun teal and lime green papers from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist and then added some SU Sage Ribbon, Kaisercraft Pearl Dots and a bit of hand stitching.
Be sure and pop over to the SCRS Blog and check out all the awesome DT creations! And don't forget about the special Anniversary Sale and Throwback Challenge too; there's still a few days to play!

Every Ordinary Day
Hi Friends! How's your Thursday so far?
Mine is EXCELLENT, because I get to share another FABULOUS Deconstructed Sketch and card with you today!!
This week we're moving on to sketch 11 and the un-inked stamps of mine keep making their way into the "well love" pile.
Thanks to Jen for another awesome sketch and a great excuse to give these beautiful Papertrey Ink stamps some playtime! I also wanted to say that a sketch is only a guideline. As you can tell from all the differences in the DT creations, a person's creativity is what makes the sketch come to life. So, if you want to stick to it completely, you most certainly can, but you can use it solely as a starting point too!
Have fun making it your own!
For my card, I've used two different sets from PTI. The flower and leaves are from Friends 'Til The End and the sentiment is from Beautiful Blessings. I used Copics to color the image and then I heat embossed the sentiment. The papers are Kaisercraft Devonshire and MME Stella Rose. The Ribbon is Webster Pages, the scallops are an SU punch and the stitching is all me. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!

Summer Weddings
Hi Friends!
Happy Wednesday!
I have a little somethin' somethin' to show you today in honor of wedding season! :)
A couple of friends of mine are getting married this summer and I've been working on some fun cards to go with their gifts. So without further adieu...here they are!
For this first card, I kind of wanted to have a vintage feel to it. I used some papers that sparkle from K&Company and added a bit of heat embossing and a prima flower for that extra touch of elegance. The thread I've used for the stitching is a metallic blue to match the sheen of the paper. I hope to have captured the bride and groom's aesthetic a tad with this card.
For this second card, I decided to go for a more striking and geometric look and chose a monogram to do that. I also used some of the same K&Company paper, but this time I overlayed a piece of patterned vellum and stitched it to the base paper. Again, I used a metallic thread for the stitching and also added some clear Spica over the top over the lettering, so that the monogram would sparkle.
It's funny, I've been watching a lot of those cake decorating shows lately and I felt a little like a cake decorator of cards, whilst I was trying to come up with different layouts to suit these two sweet and fun couples. teehee
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by to take a look at my cards today! I hope your Wednesday is a great one!

My Favorite Stamp
ack! I don't know why my pic is blurry...it wasn't this morning when I took it! Sorry for the blurrrrrr.
Hi Friends and welcome back for another FUN week at Sparkle Creations!
Today's Challenge is to use your favorite Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp! To play all you need to do is use any Sparkle Creations stamp that you fancy, to create a card or project, and then post to the linky on the SCRS Blog. And as always, there's a stamp prize up for grabs to one lucky participant!! I hope you'll play along with us!
For my card I've used Bicycle Chloe and paired her with some KaiserCraft Class of '87 papers. I have to admit...I didn't actually have this stamp before last week, but it's ALWAYS been on my wish list, so I just had to snatch it up and use it for this challenge (and now's a great time to get your wish listed stamps too, because they're all on SALE. *plug *plug). :) I also have to admit, that while I LOVE all the SCRS characters, Chloe is my fave...whether she's motoring, cycling, cruisin' or rollerblading...she's always ADORABLE!
Be sure and pop over to the SCRS Blog and check out all the awesome DT creations! And don't forget about the special Anniversary Sale and Throwback Challenge too; there's still time to play!

Deconstructed Bella
Hi Friends! Happy Thursday!
I'm back with another FABULOUS Deconstructed Sketch today!!
I hope you had a blast last week seeing all the cutie-pie BLD-stamped creations! Thanks to everyone who played and congrats to the winner of the GC to LORi's FAB store!
We're back to just playing for fun this week and now we're at sketch 10; can you believe it?? Jen just keeps the awesome sketches coming and we couldn't be more thrilled!! I love what Jen's sketches do for my mojo! :)
This week I just had to throw a Stamping Bella into the rotation (it's about time, right?)! A very sweet friend of mine had a bday not too long ago and I'm seriously behind on getting a little b-day card to her!
(I hope she still {{hearts}} me!)
The papers I chose for this card are from My Mind's Eye. And be still my heart, these papers just happened to have a little birthday flair already thrown into them! Love it when that happens!
I used Copics to color up Bella and then added some ribbon from Amuse, Stickles and hand stitching for emBellishments!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along with us! Be sure to check out what the Sketch Girls have for you over at the DSC Blog!!

Christmas in July at SCRS
Hi Friends and welcome back for another FUN week at Sparkle Creations! Are you still reeling over the super cute stamps and creations showcased at the Anniversary Hop? I know I am!
Today's Challenge is a Christmas in July Challenge! To play all you need to do is use any Sparkle Creations stamp to create a Christmas or Holiday-inspired card or project, and then post to the linky on the SCRS Blog. And as always, there's a stamp prize up for grabs to one lucky participant!! I hope you'll play along with us!
For my card I've used Caroling Josh and paired him with some Basic Grey Jovial papers. I have to admit...we always talk about Christmas in July being a common theme or cliche, but it was hard for me to get in a "wintery" mindset. I know, I know, hard to believe since it's only sunny here in Seattle, 2 weeks out of the year. :) But this was a super fun challenge, indeed! And it gave me the opportunity to finally get my Josh stamp inked up! Woohoo!
Be sure and pop over to the SCRS Blog and check out all the awesome DT creations! And don't forget about the special Anniversary Sale and Throwback Challenge too; there's still time to play!

Sparkle Creations 1st Anniversary Release & Hop
Hello and Welcome to the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps 1st Anniversary Hop!
Not only are we here to help Sparkle celebrate year 1 of SCRS, but we are also officially releasing 4 new SCRS images this month -- Backpack Oliver, Bookworm Ruby, Hula Lucy and Ukulele Josh...
But wait, there's more... we are also releasing 2 new Karber Rubber Stamps -- Rainbow Leslie and Reading Millie! They are ALL available in the store now!
For my card I've used Bookworm Ruby. Miss Ruby happens to hold a very special place in my heart, because Cupcake Ruby was the very first SCRS stamp that I got to play with on this very weekend last year! So I'm honored today, not only to be on the SCRS team and helping celebrate 1 FAB year, but also to share another Ruby card with you!
Okay, back to the hop--
We have assembled an all-star lineup consisting of our Current Design Team, DT Alumni and past/present Guest Designers. If you happened here by chance and would like to start from the beginning, the hop begins at the SCRS blog.
AND what's a hop without prizes? We've hidden TEN single stamp prizes along the way and one lucky winner will win the ENTIRE July release! All you need to do is leave some love at every stop along the hop! You have until 11:59 PM EST on Sunday to leave comments for a chance to win! Winners will be announced on the SCRS blog on Monday. Good luck to all and Happy Hopping!
Thanks SO much for joining us!

Deconstructed BLD!!
Hi Friends!
Happy Thursday!!
It's hard to believe we're one day away from the weekend again! And, yes, I'm LOVING it!
In fact, Thursday is quickly becoming one of my favorite days of the week, because I get to share a new Deconstructed Sketch card with you!
This week we are proudly sponsored by a digital stamp company that I also have the privilege and honor of designing for--By LORi Designs!! And the AMAZING, Miss LORi herself, is one of The Deconstructed Sketch Girls, as well! For this card I've used Firecracker Finn and K&Company Fourth of July papers. I didn't intend to go all red, white and blue for this card, but it ended up that way and I love it!!
I hope you'll play along with us this week!! You could win a Gift Certificate to the By LORi Designs store, just for playing!
Be sure and pop over to the Deconstructed Sketch Girls' Blogs and check out all of their AMAZING BLD creations!! Have a FAB Thursday!

A Good Book
Hi Friends!
It's another FAB preview day for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps and I'm so thrilled to share this new Karber Stamp with you!!
This is Reading Millie and I think she is a stamp after my own heart (I LOVE books)! One of my favorite things to do during the Summer, is curl up outside with a good book, a glass of iced tea and take in some sunshine!! So, in my eyes, the sentiment that's included with Millie, is so fitting!
The papers I've used for my Millie card are from Basic Grey and My Mind's Eye. The ribbon is from May Arts and the flower is from my sweet friend, Mary.
Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Reading Millie. Sparkle will be giving away a Reading Millie to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs (list below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Millie post. You have until midnight EST each day to comment. The lucky winner will be announced the following day!

A Rainbow Kinda Day
Hi Friends!
It's the first July preview day for Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps and I couldn't be more EXCITED to share this new Karber Stamp with you!!
This is Rainbow Leslie and I think she is SO CUTE and just about the happiest stamp I've seen lately! When I was growing up, I loved Rainbow Brite and this little miss Leslie stamp really reminds me of Miss Rainbow herself.
The papers I've used for my Leslie card are, of course, from My Mind's Eye--the Lime Twist collection. The ribbon is from May Arts.
Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Rainbow Leslie. Sparkle will be giving away a Rainbow Leslie to one lucky person! For a chance to win, you need to comment on all of the designer's blogs (list below). Then head on over to the SCRS blog and comment on the Leslie post.
