My Redeemer Lives
Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Easter to You!
Today is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it! And it is also the last day of the month, which means another posting for Crafters of Faith!
This month our hostess is Jeanette and here is what she had to say about the challenge:
Since we will be posting on Easter Sunday – March 31 – and since we are Crafters of Faith, I’d like us to create a religious-themed Easter card. No Easter bunnies and such, but instead a card that focuses on the Risen Lord! It can include Scripture and/or images, but needs to focus on the religious aspect of the holiday. He is not here; he has risen! (Luke 24:6)
My card is for my Mom. If there's any time of year that my Mom likes a handmade card, it's on Easter and she is with Jeanette--no bunnies (although we all agree that bunnies are adorable). My Mom cherishes her Easter card every year, because the promise that Jesus has risen and is alive in Heaven means everything to us. Our Redeemer Lives!
For her card this year, I've used another FAB stamp from Wax Fruit Company (by Artist Arielle Gordon) and then overlayed a Unity stamp sentiment on vellum. The image is colored in Copics and the ribbon is American Crafts; oh and there a little bit of Stickles too.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out all the other wonderful creations that my COF friends have made. See my side bar for the blog roll.
Have a Blessed Easter!

Some Bunny Loves You
Hello, Friends and happy Friday!
Today is another beautiful release over at A Day For Daisies!! AND there's still time to get in on this month's challenge too!
For my card I've used Bunny in Tulip and was inspired by the ADFD white embossed background challenge again. Since my first time around printing the sentiment, it turned out larger than I'd planned, I just decided to splice it up and shadow it with SU Concord Crush cardstock. Then I added a little ribbon and twine flair to the bottom. Bunny is colored up in Copics.
Sami also has a FABULOUS release this week of Wizard of Oz inspired images. I grew up watching The Wizard of Oz over and over and over, so I have a real love for this movie and anything related. As you can see, I worked with Toto and his tall friend as they journey the yellow brick road. So fun! Oh and the sentiment I used was half of a sentiment from PTI, because I just couldn't get my printer to work for me, but Sami has a version of this sentiment and some other FAB ones for you too!
Be sure and check out what all the rest of the team has created for you!

Geek Is The New Chic
Hi Friends!
I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday!
I've got another fun card for you using this week's Deconstructed Sketch #95!
For my card, I didn't mess with the sketch at all!! Can you believe it? I made my card pretty much just like this FABBY sketch!
I used a super fun set that I just picked up from Amuse Studio! It's called Geek is the New Chic. There are 6 different pairs of glasses and various sentiments. Pop over HERE to my friend, Jeanette's store and check it out for yourself.
I've paired this Chic set with papers from American Crafts, Sage Shadow and Not Quite Navy ink from Stampin Up, and seam binding ribbon made by my ADFD teammie, Sherry!
Thank you so much for popping by! I hope you will check out the fabulous creations of the other Deconstructed Sketch Girls! Have a great one!

New Little Peanut
Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
It's time for challenge #192 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's to GO CLEAN AND SIMPLE (aka CAS)!
For my card it was easy to know what I was going to do, because I had a little card in mind for my new little nephew who will be born very soon! I've used stamps from Amuse Studio, ribbon from SU and my trusty Martha Stewart grass punch. And now I eagerly await the arrival of little Jonas! Woohooo!

Light As A Cloud
Hello, Friends and happy Friday!
Today is another beautiful release over at A Day For Daisies!! AND a challenge day as well! Yipee!!
For my card today I've used a star cuttlebug emboss folder and paired it with 'cow jumped over the moon' papers from K and Company. My little slumbering angel is colored up in Copics and I tried to go away from my normal shades of E02 and E51 for skin and make her a little darker. I experimented a bit, but I think she's so cute! The stickers are from October Afternoon, the ribbon is SU Soft Suede and the button is Basic Grey.
Be sure and check out what all the rest of the team has created for you and please join me again in welcoming, Mila to the ADFD team too!

Something Wonderful
Hi Friends!
I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday!
I've got another fun card for you using this week's Deconstructed Sketch #94!
For my card, I've wanted to use one of the awesome digi's I've been hoarding amidst my stash, from Arielle's Wax Fruit Company. I just love the beach--such a calming retreat for me (and perhaps for you too). So I decided to pair this beautiful image with a sentiment stamp from Unity and papers from My Mind's Eye. The button was a miscellaneous find in my stash--but doesn't it look like a mollusk or seashell? It seemed like it was just waiting for this card to be made so it could have a purpose in life :)

There's Nobunny Like You
Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
It's time for challenge #191 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's time to get out your Easter stamps!
Normally, I tend to go with cards that are more celebratory of my faith when I create for Easter, but I just received this uber cute stamp from Unity in the mail and decided to ink it up for this week's challenge! I stamped the image on both white and kraft cardstock. Then I cut the bunny out from the white and raised him up with dimensionals on the kraft and distressed the edges. The gingham is from Amuse Studio and the orange is SU Pumpkin. The green ribbon is also Amuse Studio and the button is Basic Grey.
Thanks for popping by! Be sure to go visit The Pink Elephant Blog to see all the wonderful creations.

Irish Blessing
Alright, I have finally succeeded in creating my Dueling Darlings card for this month. Wooohoo!
For the month of March it was my turn to host for the Divas and I got to do a little theme planning with my Dazzler cohort, April!
We chose to go with a green theme for St. Patrick's Day, but instead of seeing the four leaf clover or the pot of Gold as 'lucky,' we wanted to go with a very 'blessed' theme. It has been such a blessing for me to have met all of these wonderful ladies and cultivate friendships through our love of crafting and through SCS!
As a bonus we asked each of the ladies to share a way that they have recently been blessed. And for me, I recently had a birthday and I received some really sweet things in the mail from a couple of my friends and that touched me more than I can say.
For my card I tried to use as many of the elements as I could from the kit I sent. And unbeknownst to us both, April and I chose the exact same stamp for our teams to work with! The image is Wishing You Luck, a la mode from MFT stamps, the papers are from Portabello Road and Graphic 45, the eyelets are We R Memory Keepers and the flower is Prima (I added an AC brad to the middle). The image was stamped in white, vanilla and kraft and I decided to try something different and go with the kraft image. I also really wanted to draw attention to the clover, so I colored that in Copics and left the rest of her as is. The inside of the card (I have been so inspired that the DD's do such beautiful cards inside and out, that I decided to try my hand at the inside this time) is an Irish Blessing that April picked out for the group and I added the kaiser craft bling to that.
I also used a mojo sketch (279) from a few weeks back and just flipped it on it's side.

Live Inspired
Hello, Friends and happy Friday!
Today is another beautiful release over at A Day For Daisies!! Yipee!!
For my card today I've colored her with Copics and paired with old papers from K and Company. I just really wanted a vintage feel to my card since I instantly thought of the roaring 20's when I spied these images.

Blue Skies Ahead
Hi Friends!
I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday!
I've got another fun card for you using this week's Deconstructed Sketch!
For my card, I've kept it pretty close to the sketch and used an Inkadinkado stamp I've been meaning to get inked up for ages! I thought I would do a simple little encouragement card and this sketch was perfect. The papers are October Afternoon, Witch Hazel.
Thank you so much for popping by! I hope you will check out the fabulous creations of the other Deconstructed Sketch Girls! Have a great one!

St. Paddy's Day Green
Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
It's time for challenge #190 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's to use Green for St. Patrick's Day!
For my card I went old school Stampin Up. This was actually a card I designed years ago, when I first started stamping, and I just altered it slightly with a few more details. Both the papers are certainly celery and those plus the die cut "P", ribbon and Happy St. Patrick's Day stamp are all Stampin Up.

Jeremiah 33:3
Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!
It's time for challenge #188 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's a BEAUTIFUL photo inspiration! Boy, wouldn't I love to be taking a snooze in all that comfort!
For my card I've used the Jeremiah 33:3 stamp from Verve Stamps and paired it with papers from Teresa Collins and My Mind's Eye. I know it looks like a black base and ink from the photo, but the card is entirely in grey tones. The ribbon is Amuse Studio and the buttons are Basic Grey.

I Believe In Mermaids
Hi Friends! Happy Friday!
Today's an exciting day, because I get to share the new March Club Kit with you for A Day For Daisies!! Yipee!! And as a bonus, Tammy's sister, Sami is showcasing another fun release at ADFD too! And it's St. Patrick themed!
And what better way to start off a new month's kit, than with a mini HOP!! But before we hop, let me just mention that we are saying farewell to Alice today. It has been such a pleasure to be on a team with Alice again and be inspired by all of her fabulous creations. Please be sure to pop over and give Alice love! She will be missed.
Such a beautiful collection of Mermaids that Tammy has created for you. Since there are so many images today, I won't post them here, but will leave it to you to see when you begin the hop!
The image I've used today is Ocean's Little Girl and I've paired her with papers from, oops, I meant to write it down...I'm going to guess My Mind's Eye, but I will pop back on a little later to confirm. She is colored in Copics, the waves were made with a Memory Box die and the sentiment is PTI.
Your next stop on the hop is Danielle, but if you've just arrived here or get lost along the way, here's a list of all the ladies blogs!
