A New Twist
Happy Friday!
I don't know about you, but I'm SO happy it's Friday again! I love the thought of what is to come...2 blessed days without sitting at my desk for 9 hours!
Today's card is a little bit of a repeat. It is the same card essentially that I showed last week for this month's sisterhood card, but with a new twist. I ran out of those nifty teal primas, so I decided to go yellow/curry instead! This version also uses TGF paper that I absolutely adore. I will have these off in the mail today to swap with the gals!
I'm also showing a repeat today because I have been working on something else in the midst of all the simple cards I've been showing lately. I can't tell you what it is today, but I can TOMORROW!!! So be sure to pop in tomorrow while you're sipping your Saturday coffee and checking emails. See you then!!

A Happy Heart
Since I began making cards, I've developed a little pocket of inspiration...I tend to collect things, so I have a basket of odds and ends I can use for supplies, a notebook of inspiring photos and cards to look through, and a handful (or two!) of blogs I visit. All the blogs I visit daily are so diverse in style, technique and personality. Some are real clean and simple and others are embellishment city, but I'm inspired by them all!
One person who has definitely been a source of inspiration over the last year and a half is Niki Estes. In my opinion she takes Clean and Simple to a whole new level. She creates her own patterned paper (with lines that are perfection!), she colors brilliantly and she has this amazing way of drawing you straight into the focal point by using simple, yet elegant enhancements. AND she is also the sweetest person too!
So, with all that said, I cased one of Niki's cards today and I thank her dearly for being an inspiration to me!
I'd love to hear who your inspirations are! Leave a comment and let us know!

Sweet Litte Boy
Hellooooo! Happy Tuesday!
I have another baby boy card to show you today (I tell you, there are babies coming left and right). This one actually has a real photo though! Haha.
I found these stickers from Sandy Lion and they are foam/plastic but they look very close to cloth with stitching. Such a fun find! And obviously I'm finding that they work splendidly for baby cards! I also used the Mojo Monday 101 sketch for inspiration. Love that Mojo Monday!
And that's all for today. Thanks for popping over!

Another Bad Picture
Hi Friends!
I went to a baby shower yesterday where I presented my baby scrap album that I showed you last week. I had also made this card to match, but of course I didn't have my camera at home so... default to camera phone again and this is what you get! Thanks for stopping in for a look anyway. I hope you have a great start to your week!
OH OH and hop over to The Greeting Farm and check things out! They are having their Fall Gardener call and YOU might be just what they are looking for. I had a blast when I was a Gardener. Great team, great friends, great STAMPS...what more can you ask for?

Hello Sunshine
Hello Friends!
I had the most wonderful afternoon yesterday. I got to meet my dear friend, Judy at Starbucks! Judy and I met on SCS last year and she quickly became a cherished friend, so this was very special now to get to meet IRL! You're a doll, Judy-dear!
Last week's Farm Fresh Friday card challenge was called Sew Simple. Elena came up with it and all you had to do was show some stitching on your card. So, I sat down, knowing that I wanted to make my friend Judy a card and also that I wanted to do something for this challenge...and voila. Here is the result! And that's all for today! Almost Friday...woohooo!

Project Baby Book
Good Morning! Happy Wednesday!
As promised, I have some pictures of my latest "project" to show you.
Earlier this year I went to a craft fair and there was a booth selling premade chip board albums, as well as blank ones. I ended up buying one premade so that I could keep an idea in my mind of how they were made, but then I bought several blank ones as well. Over the course of the last 2 weeks, I've been trying my hand at gluing, sanding and embellishing (the latter was the easiest!). My dear friend, Catherine has done many wood projects and she was kind enough to answer all my questions about how to do this and that and what products to use...I was especially concerned about the sanding, as I certainly have never done this on any of my cards! I had a lot of fun making this though and I am thrilled with the end result...I see some more in my future. :) Thanks for stopping by today!

In the Forest
Hello!
Sorry for the short post yesterday...it was just one of those days...a Monday :)
I have been diligently working on a craft project that has taken some time away from my cards. I will try and post a picture tomorrow of this soon to be finished project. It's been a lot of fun but as I said, it has taken some time away from my cards. I have managed to keep up with my swap obligations though. Here is my card for Jeanette's Forest Friends swap. This is by far the hugest swap I've even taken part in. It's Ginormous and I have to applaud Jeanette...I thought I was an organized person but you have to have mad skills to be able to take this on! Plus, her mail carrier must be exhausted! :) Thanks for letting all of us play, Jeanette! Love ya!
Hope you all have a happy Tuesday!

Growing Friendships
Hello my Friends!
The card I have to show you today is for a sweet friend of mine. It was inspired by this card created by the amazingly talented Amy Sheffer. Ever since I started my first swap on SCS, God has truly blessed me in getting to meet the most wonderful group of women. Some of these women popped into my life right away and others have appeared along the path...but it's always amazing to me how we've bonded so closely and no matter the timing, each person fits into the group so marvelously. I truly cherish these friendships and the support that we all lend to one another. In fact...this stamp is from these wonderful women!! Thank you soooo much!!
Thanks for taking a look at my card today! Have a fantastic weekend!

You're So Special
Sometimes I have days when I get down on myself and I know some of my friends do to (don't we all). So, when I saw Megan, this cutie new stamp from The Greeting Farm's Wild Sprout Collection, two phrases went through my mind--"Oh no, you did'int" and "You're special, Girl. You better believe it!" So, I decided to pick the latter for this card, as a special shout out to all my Girlies: You're SO special---and you better believe it!
I would have shown this card yesterday, because originally I was hoping for this to be my Farm Fresh Friday layout using Mary's fantastic sketch, but I just couldn't get it the way I wanted. In the end it worked better for me to put the flower and ribbon on the same side as the spinner. I really love the paper that I was working with for this card too. It's also from TGF and it's called Dirty Rodeo.
I'm hoping to use this card for this month's Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards entry. The theme is movement for your card and I'm thinking that this special tribute to my girlfriends will work itself right in perfectly too. Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I appreciate your support more than I can say. Have a great Wednesday!

Snail Mail Greetings
Hello! Happy Monday to you all!
I worked on some fun cards this weekend using the stamps that were released at The Greeting Farm this month! What a blast!
Today's card features Bree from the Wild Sprouts collection. I have been wanting to use this SU! Candy Lane paper forever and when I ended up coloring Bree in Red, it turned out to be a great match! Yipee! But on a side note...she is colored in beautiful deep red but the photo makes it look like the coloring is faded or a little too washed out. Not IRL, I promise! :)
This card will be going out in the mail later this week. Who doesn't love snail mail?
Thanks for stopping by today!

Owl Be There
I have been meaning to use this cute little owl from The Greeting Farm's Forest Friends set for quite some time now. So many stamps, so little time, eh? LOL. I soooo wish that I could afford to quit my day job and then I'd just stamp all day long!
Well, I'm still on the fence about how this card turned out (or on the branch--haha), but I really love this stamp and I'm still having a blast with my Copic markers, so it's all good. Hope you have a brilliant day!
Oh and if you're looking for a fun excuse to make some TGF cards and get some in return (possibly from the famous Sandra and Mary) then join our swap over at SCS!

Inspiring
Hello, Friends!
Today I have something very special to show you! I have received a blog award for inspiring a friend...which I'm just totally floored by because I draw inspiration on a daily basis from her! This blog award is not only special to me because it came from a friend, but also because Mary MADE IT!! That's right! Isn't she uber talented? I'm so very thankful for Mary and for all of the other extremely talented people who inspire me on a daily basis. I could go on forever listing all the amazing people I draw my inspiration from but I'm just going to list a few (who I see have not received it yet but totally need to). Thank you so much, Mary!
Please check out these truly amazing artists who influence me in my craft

Soar High
Hi Again!
I have another card to show you today (I had to run home first). I was lagging behind my crew today. Sandra, Mary and I have started a card kit challenge. Last month Mary sent us a kit and we all posted our cards on the same day, which showcased the same image, paper and embellishments. Well, it's round two and this month was my kit. It was so fun to gather elements to send to my girlies...so much fun I had to stop myself from going overboard! Anyway, here is my little pixie, Heidi and you can find her at All that Scraps. The only thing you can't see very well from my (home) pic is that the wings are covered in Spica and very sparkly. Thanks for joining the 3 of us today and look for us to join forces again the first week of next month!
If you'd like to play along with Mojo Monday 98 too, check it out here! Have fun!

Birthdays are Super!
Good Morning!
This weekend was super fun. We went to the movies, then I spent Saturday hangin at the Anyaversary and making cards, and then yesterday we had a great day too with a really great church service.
Today's card is one that I made for Saturday's speed challenge using the generous gift that TGF bestowed on everyone...free digi Birthday Boy Ian! How cool was that? I still have a little bit of trouble sizing my digis but I'm learning...could use more tips though on how to do it without photoshop.
I'll be back later today to post my card for Mary, Sandra and my card kit challenge!
Oh and if you'd like to join a card swap using your TGF stamps, please join us over at SCS here.
