A Sweet Treat
Good Friday Morning, My Friends!!!
I'm back with another Farm Fresh Friday! And this week I get to show you another sneak peek! It's getting closer to release day, can you stand it?? :) If you're still compiling your list of must haves...you have to go check out Club Anya & Friends today too because they've got more adorable sneaks, packed with punch!! :)
For my card today I used the new Sweet Tooth set designed by Marina Neira. Since this week's Farm Fresh Challenge is to go Monochromatic (hosted by our very own Artiste and Owner extraordinaire, Marie!!) I went with a green theme but this set is also PERFECT for all your Valentine's cards!
My card just happens to be a Birthday card for a special friend of mine...we both love green. **wink**
You might also recognize that I've used this week's Mojo Monday sketch 123 for inspiration. Gotta love that MM to help get my mojo flowin'!!
Well, that's it for me today. I hope that you will play along in this week's TGF challenge...monochromatic is so much fun...it has got to be one of my favorite challenges so far!
Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday for The Greeting Farm Release Blog Hop!!

Rock on!
Hello Everyone!
The Greeting Farm is all a buzz this week!
And today we're kicking off sneaks of the stamps that will be released on the 1st of February. You may have noticed Club Anya and Friends showcasing some of the rubber that will be coming and today the Farmers and the Critter Crew are here to showcase the digital FABulousness!
Don't forget too...there's also a surprise around the corner scheduled for February 14th!
Today TGF is proud to present the new additions to the Chibi line...all cute boys this time, illustrated by the talented Jessica Hymas. Also new to the digital collection are three new dynamite digis by Marina Neira!
My card today features Rockout Chibi! I think all the Chibi boys are soooo fun but this little guy won my heart instantly. Right away I thought of jumping on my bed singing into my hair brush! This is going to date me a bit...but do you remember that song Rock On by the Soap Opera Star Michael Damian? I know this Rocker chibi would have waaaaaaaay cooler music on his ipod, but the first song that came to my mind was him jumping onto that bed jammin to "Rock On!" LOL!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to check out the AMAZING samples from the other TGF Farmers and Critter Crew!
Tomorrow we'll be back with some more sneaks---available in rubbah! See you then!

Good Wednesday morning, my friends!
How's everyone doing?
It's kind of dreary outside my window at work today but I thinking that it will clear up soon and today will be beautiful!
I have a couple cards for you today; both using the On My Couch set from Papertrey Ink. The moment I saw this set and the amazing creations that the design team over there were coming up with, I knew I had to have it! I wanted a set that would make "comfort cards" that I could use for everyday occasions and I've used it today for a Thank You and Thinking of You. You can't see it very well from the picture but for the "thinking of you" card the sofa cushion and the pillow are both popped up with a dimensional and the same for the pillow in the card below.
The "chair-ish" card above is a CASE from one of my card heroes, Debbie Olson. You can check out her AMAZING creations here.
I'll see you back here tomorrow for a new release preview for The Greeting Farm. Yipee!!!!

Groovy Baby
Hello Again!
Today I'm posting a card from the card making relay that's happening over at The Greeting Farm. It's day 2 today and this is my entry using Wild Sprout Charlotte.
She is such a blast to color up, especially that hair! Can you dig it? :)
I actually did something out of the ordinary for me but it turned out to be super fun...I created the card layout before I had even seen the image! And what do you know, this groovy chick fit into the layout quite well!
There's something else coming up this week that is quite exciting...previews for TGF's February release! The DT will have previews starting the 28th and then the release is on the 1st! Stay tuned!
Until then, I hope you're having a great week!

It's Magic
Hellooooo Friends!!
Happy Monday! Actually, I can't believe it's Monday already! The weekend goes by so fast sometimes!
Did you see what's going on at TGF?? There is a free digi/card relay!! Pick up the free Mer-man Ian from Sunday's post, create a card with him and submit it by 6pm CST today and you'll get the Wild Sprout Charlotte digi shown on today's post to continue on in the next leg of the relay! TGF comes up with the funnest stuff! Check it out!
Now, onto today's card! I got the coolest package in the mail last week filled with Starving Artist/Doodle Factory stamps. Then on Friday afternoon I was squirming in my desk at work just waiting for punch out time so I could go home and ink them up! I started with this adorable little Earwick the Wise and decided to go for another non-traditional day of Love card. I had a thought that I could go for a get well card too since I'd colored him green, but in the end decided on L-O-V-E. :)
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your week is Grand!

Walkin on Sunshine!
Hello!
Did you know we saw sunshine yesterday in Seattle?? It was amazing and a wonderful surprise. And it was so fitting because this week's Farm Fresh Friday is sunshine inspired in honor of Marie and Jess packing up the Farm and heading to sunny California for CHA!! Hooray!
So that's the challenge this week; use sunshine as your inspiration! For my card I couldn't help but think of Gigi Sprout, I mean afterall I did call her Little Miss Sunshine on the last card I used her for! She just screams happy and sunshine whenever I see her stamped out and waiting to be colored. Gigi Sprout is styled by the fabulous Amy Young and Amy's very sunshiney herself! I love popping by her blog for inspiration and smiles daily. Be sure to check out the TGF blog to see all the sunny samples!
Okay, that's it for me today! Oh, wait...I forgot to mention this card is going into the mail right away to celebrate a special friend of mine...I hope she likes it, because she certainly is SUN-SATIONAL!!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, kadie

Up, Up and Away!
Hi Friends!!
Thanks for all of your sweet comments on my posts the last few days. You really know how to make a gal smile!
I have been meaning to start making some Valentine's Day/Love themed cards and this one may fall into that category. Normally, when I think of this LOVE related holiday I think of pinks and purples and reds and hearts, but when I sat down to make this card I only ended up with the heart part! :)
I was looking through my papers and haven't used nearly enough of this fantastic Nutmeg DP from Cosmo Cricket so I decided to see how it looked paired up with one of the new Valentine Critters stamps from All That Scraps. What do you think?
I also used the punch I got from Sale-a-bration...and I have to be honest, it doesn't punch very well; kinda tears the paper up. You can't beat a free punch though!! And I do love the look of the little scallops.
Thanks for stopping by today! Tomorrow I have the priviledge of being included in the New Release Blog Hop for the Hannah Belle stamps at Fresh Brewed Designs! I hope you'll stop by and check it out!
Have a great day!

One of My Hideouts
Craft stuff is taking over my house!! LOL! Actually, it has been but all that is going to change soon! A couple months ago I finally got the garage cleaned out (as promised to DH) and last week I finally got that stuff out of our 1st floor room and organized into the storage closet. Then over the weekend we got the main floor rid of clutter and we're well on our way to the upper level of the house being cleansed now too (time to box up some clothes)!
BUT the best news in all of this is that I'm getting a new craft room! I have been looking at desks and such for a while now and for Christmas we got a really nice gift card to one of the places that I was looking at.
I'm going to show you my current craft space below, but since this is also our guest room (hopefully kid's room someday) and Winston (our dog) doesn't like to be left alone downstairs, I've often found myself with a traveling craft space (the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom...oh, nope, not that last one, I promise)!
The new desk will go in our first floor bedroom that has a door to the small backyard we have, so I won't need to worry about Winston being entertained or getting into things. I'm very excited.
So, without further adieu, now you can have a picture in your mind of where the magic has been happening (not MTV cribs "magic," the card and craft Magic!! Duh).
And I'll be sure to post pics of the new space too whenever that is up and running.
I did want to point out something super special to me in my craft space and that is my card tree. I have this amazing group of friends that I swap with and share life with and this tree holds some of the cards that I've collected from these special ladies. It makes me smile everytime I go in this room and often provides me with much needed inspiration and card mojo.
Thanks for taking this tour with me and I'll see you back here for the next one real soon!
Hugs,
Kadie

Picture This
Happy Farm Fresh Friday!
This week we have something super fun brought to us by the amazingly sweet and talented, Kim Nath---a Picture This challenge! For this challenge you should incorporate a picture into your card or use a picture for the inspiration of your card. It sounds a little hard but it's SUPER fun!
For my card I've incorporated a picture of the stitching on my wedding dress. When I was searching for papers to match the photo I discovered that this page from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie series mimics the pattern on my dress so well! Incredible! And I just had to use the adorable Stella Sprout for this card too because she's dressed for a formal occasion! I hope that you like this card and will play along with us! Have a great weekend!
For curious minds, here is a pic of the whole dress :)
Deets:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm Wild Sprout Stella, Styled by Amy Young
Paper: Basic Grey Urban Prairie, SU Raspberry Tart

FaithBook Scrapbook Club
I'm so excited because today is the inaugural day of the FaithBook Scrapbook Club c/o The Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards swap group!
I first got started in scrapbooking 4 years ago when I decided I wanted to scrapbook our honeymoon, but I didn't get very far. 5 meticulous pages into it I just stopped. It was such a big project! Even though I was having a lot of fun with it, each page was taking me a whole day to make!
Recently though, when The Greeting Farm started carrying digi kits, I was directed to a website called Scrapblog. I was a bit intimidated at first because I'm not a real whiz on the computer, but this website makes it SO EASY to plop things in, replicate, delete and alter. It's a blast!!
This first month's theme for our scrap page is about new beginnings and to be inspired by and/or incorporate Genesis 9:16 into our project. This page is actually one from a book that Josh and I are putting together. We're starting off on a new adventure this year that will hopefully involve expanding our little family of two, but no matter what road life takes us down I know that each day God has truly blessed me with my best friend to go through it all with.

Here is how our beloved hostess Kelly described this month's theme:
For this month’s selection, I thought of new beginnings in life...new hope, new faith, a new future for some in many areas – jobs, homes, family. I thought of the book of Genesis and have always loved Chapter 9
Genesis 9:16
"Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
I know that through all trials and tribulations, Faith often pulls us through and we see that silver lining after the storm has passed. It’s 2010! This year, I wish for each of you many blessings and that heaven’s rains wash away any trials and tribulations, for rainbows to brighten your world & color it with happiness!

Needing a Sentiment
Hi Friends!
Today I have a card for you that needs your help! I just got this adorable new Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses stamp from All that Scraps and colored her up immediately! The card came together so quickly (that never happens!) but in the end I was at a loss for a sentiment and still am. Most of the time either I have a sentiment in mind when I begin or one just calls out to me when I look at the finished card...not this time! So, I would like to enlist your help!! Please leave a comment with some sentiment ideas and the winner will get a Swiss Pixie Nurse Nora stamp!! The sentiment can be as small as one word or as long as a sentence, it just has to have me saying, "yes, that's it!" when I look at this card. Thanks so much for your help!!
I'll see you all back here tomorrow for a SUPER fun Farm Fresh Friday!
Stamps: All that Scraps, C.C. Designs Swiss Miss Rosalie with Roses, Michael's Stamp

HIYA!
Hellooooooo and welcome to Farm Fresh Friday!!
I always look forward to Fridays and it's mostly because of these TGF challenges! I just love them!!
This week the FABulous Farmer Mary has issued us a Glitter and Glue challenge! I can assure you that I use excessive amounts of glue on all my cards but I won't show you that mess... instead I will show you little bits of sparkle using stickles and stickers!!
For my card today I pulled out the incredibly adorable karate kid digis that I've been meaning to use since the day I got them! These have got to be 2 of the cutest stamps I've ever seen. You may have noticed that I combined Anya's head and Ian's body to make this kickin' kard. I also wanted to use a lot of color and I've been meaning to use this bubble paper from American Crafts but it was just waiting for the perfect inspiration. I added Diamond Stickles to each bubble in the background for a subtle sparkle too.
Oh, AND AND AND The Greeting Farm has quite the exciting announcement for today!!!
Today we also are excited to announce the new "Brand Name" for Marina Neira's animal line! We are SO amped about the TGF "Critter Crew" brand of stamps that we are actually celebrating by putting a little blog badge out there for all of you to proudly display on your blogs, too!
But what's more is that the Critter Crew also has it's own Guest Designers!! A huge congrats and big welcome back as the FIRST Critter Crew DT to these 3 amazing and talented ladies!!
MERCY KERIN
SANDRA MACLEAN, and
SPARKLE SMITH!
Yay!

Slow week
Hi Friends!
I'm finding that it's harder for me to get back in the swing of things than I thought it would be! So I'm sorry that it's been a slow week for posts (maybe that's why my follower count keeps dropping *insert sad face*)
Last night I sat down at my table and did just that. Sat with paper cutter in front of me and a bit of ribbon, shifted my seating position every few minutes, got up to get a glass of water, turned on the stereo, turned off the stereo, turned on the tv, talked to Winston, pet Winston, stared at the cutter and ribbon again...you get the idea. :) Anyway, I'm thinking I'll get a stroke of inspiration tonight. The power of positive thinking, right? *insert big smile and wink*
In the meantime here are a few pics of another baby book that I gifted a short while ago. These are so much fun to make!
Lots of hugs to you, my friends! I'll see you back here tomorrow for the Busy Beauties Blog Hop and then don't forget that Farm Fresh Friday at TGF is coming up too!!
And if you're looking for a fun challenge BBB is hosting this week's giveaway on the Crafty Creations Challenge Blog! Check it out!
Also, the weekly digi giveaways have started up again at TGF and you won't want to miss your chance to win today's Hope and Grace digi!! Omgosh it's SO cute!!
