Hi There!
It's Saturday morning and I've completely utilized the wonderful auto-post option and I'm currently snoozing under my cozy down comforter, sharing my warm happy space with DH and Winston wonder-dog. Happy Halloween, by the way!!
I normally don't post on the weekends, but I just had so many fun cards to show you this week! I also wanted to pop on and give one last reminder about tomorrow's Virtual Stamp Night at The Greeting Farm (see the TGF blog for details).
My card today is for a sweet gal I know and it showcases Marlene from Marina Neira's line for TGF. I realized after I took the picture that it's hard to see that there are two ribbons on this, but there is also sheer chocolate colored ribbon under the velour, just to add a little more aesthetic to the card. Thanks for stopping by today and have fun trick or treating!

Paper: K & Company, October Afternoon, AC textured CS

A Whimsical Princess for FFF
Hi Friends!
It's Farm Fresh Friday again and a little Princess is stopping by to provide some inspiration. Okay, actually this card is totally from the frog's perspective but aren't they both adorable? This is another one of TGF's new Twinkle Tots and her name is Ava. The frog's name is Pierre (I just made that up because I didn't want him to feel left out, since it is his card). You can read all about the Whimsical Princess Ava by clicking here and heading over to Miss Jessica's blog. Thanks to Mercy for this awesome FFF sketch. I hope you'll play along!!
Have a Wonderful Friday and DON'T FORGET to join us this Sunday for the Virtual Stamp Night Release Party!! There will be prizes and stamping and the winners for this weeks' challenges will be announced! See you there!

My own personal joy is coming in 23 days when I'll be heading to the movie theater. :) Silly, I know, but at least I'm with friends on this one (wink wink)!
So in honor of Christmas Joy, New Moon Joy or wherever your own Joy is found...here is Vivi the Wild Sprout Elf! You can find Vivi at The Greeting Farm. My card today is a layout CASE of one of my dear friend Tanja's cards. I received this card in the mail through our monthly sisterhood swap and fell in LOVE with this awesome layout, papers and coloring!! Check out Tanja's blog and her card HERE. XOXO, to you, Tanja!
Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again tomorrow for another TGF sneak peek and CONTEST!

All of the Above
Hola, My Dear Friends!
I'm back for good now, crazy October is almost at a close...I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! It's hard to believe that we're nearing a new month again, and you know what that means...NEW RELEASES!! (AND a quickly approaching movie date on my calendar!!!) Check back tomorrow for a sneak peak of some new TGF stamps for November and a contest announcement!
For today's card I used the Mom and Dad set again, but this time made a card with "daddy" in mind. I found these Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend papers in my drawer and then this fun idea to do a pull tab popped into my head.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look. I also wanted to thank you SOOOO much for all your support and loving comments. It means the world to me!
Don't forget to stop by Tomorrow!! I'm so excited to show you the new stamps, I can barely contain myself! :)
oh and since a few of you asked...here's a pic from my little sister's wedding and the view of Seattle from the ceremony :)

Punches Punches Punches
Hellooooooooo Friends!
Did you think I got lost? I've wondered about that myself this week...it has been crazy!! I usually work on my cards every night after I get home from work but this week we've had something scheduled every night! My sister is getting married tonight, so after this I will be in the clear and back in my favorite stamping chair!
I hope you've all had a FABulous week and are ready to play in the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge! This week's TGF card challenge is called "Punch, Drunk and In Love with TGF!" This challenge is to use up all those fun punches you have (at least 2) and then the rest is up to you...oh and use a stamp from The Greeting Farm, of course! :)
For my card I used the Mom and Dad set that just came out last week. I like to think of these cuties as Anya's mom and Dad, not actually Anya...she's still a wee little girlie to me :) I actually made this card for my friends Jenni and Justin who just welcomed their baby girl, Emmerson Alice into the world last week! Congrats, my dear friends!
This is a super fun set to work with and I couldn't help but add Oh Baby Anya in the mix too. I hope you like it and hope you'll play along too!!
Hugs to you and have a GREAT weekend!

Thrills Without Frills
Happy Friday, Friends!
I'm off to San Francisco right now with DH and some close friends of ours. Our friend is running the Nike Women's Marathon and we're so excited to cheer her on. Our long anticipated vacay also happens to fall on DH's birthday (a big ONE!) so we're going to throw in a little celebrating in his honor too! :)
Today is Farm Fresh Friday again at TGF and I hope you'll play along!! Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to create a fabulous card without all the "frills." That means no ribbon or flowers or bling! Kinda hard, huh? I think I cheated a little bit in adding my stickers, so I apologize, but again...I was creating it by candlelight! :) I hope you have a fabulous weekend! See you Tuesday!

It's a Girl Thing!
Happy Release Day!!! There's a whole lot of fun going on at Club Anya today because it's the mid-month release of all the new Anyas and Ians!! Head on over and check out all the CUTENESS!
Okay, so...funny thing happened last night and I almost called this post "stamping in the dark ages." I have been going nonstop since last Friday and didn't have a chance to work on my last two cards for this week until last night. Normally, this wouldn't have been a problem, but a few minutes after I sat down with all of the elements I'd chosen for my cards...the power WENT OUT!! Oh my goodness! Have any of you ever stamped by candlelight before?? It was definitely an experience! I imagined what it might have been like back in the day trying to draw on cave walls by fire light or trying to paint on canvas by candlelight. So, with that said, I apologize for both the simplicity and the interesting shading to my card! LOL! I did go back and try to add some detailing to spruce things up a bit once the power had returned. :) Regardless of my candlelight coloring, I hope you fall in LOVE this cutie new Xmas Sweeties set from The Greeting Farm, available today!
See you tomorrow for Farm Fresh Friday!

Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Xmas Sweeties, Signature
Paper: The Greeting Farm Merry Merry PP, Soft Suede, Whisper White

Leaves are Turning
I have all these wonderful Stampin' Up! sets in my craft closet that I just HAD to have when the cattys came out. I'm so fond of them but I often forget that I have them. This set is one of my faves because I LOVE trees so much, especially in Autumn when the leaves change color and begin to blanket the ground. So in honor of this season (that is quickly passing by), I present today's card; Just Because.
I hope you have a Wonderful Wednesday and I thank you SOOOO much for popping in to check out my card.
Hugs, kadie

Brrrrrrr
I don't know what the weather's like in your neck of the woods but it's starting to get mighty chilly over here in Seattle and today I feel just like this snowman...all bundled up!
With that said though, I love this time of year. In fact, as I'm sitting here typing up this post I have my cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks and a cozy sweater on...both two of my favorite aspects of Winter (warm drinks and bundling up).
For today's card I pulled out another one the adorable snowmen from the TGF Keep Cozy set. All these fabulous Christmas sets are forcing me to get in the Christmas mood early...so much so I already got my Christmas present (it's still unopened though)! LOL! If you're in the mood for Christmas to come early and some fabulous Christmas inspiration, just check out the sneaks from Club Anya this week! They are SO FUN!
Have a Great day and stay warm!

Vintage Thank You
Hello!
Good Monday morning to you! I had a very LONG but exciting weekend. Even though the weekend was long, (but good) I'm looking forward to recovering from it with the upcoming one when we leave for San Francisco on Friday! Woohoo. I can't wait!
How was your weekend?
My card for you today has kind of a vintage feel to it. My friends, Mary, Sandra and I have had a blast the last few months exchanging card kits to see the different takes we have on using the same paper, embies and image. I hadn't seen this adorable Sugar Nellie MacBeth Bunny stamp before but I totally love it. He reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit (a book I really love). And the papers and embies that Mary included for us to play with were absolutely perfect for MacBeth. I really wanted to try and use all the papers because they were all beautiful! I haven't gotten to use any crocheted pieces before today's card and now I can see why everyone is having so much fun with this embellishment! I have to go find myself some more!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll go check out Mary and Sandra's cards too!

Today's card features another adorable stamp created by Marina Neira. I just LOVE these stamps. They are so fun to color and always make for really cute cards!

Until Christmas! Can you believe it?? LOL.
Well, I hope this little Vivi the Wild Sprout Elf card helps to get you a little in the Yuletide mood. She is new this month from The Greeting Farm! I just couldn't resist fluffing up her hat with some Flower Soft and I'm hoping whenever I send this off in the mail that she doesn't end up bald on the other side (when she gets to the recipient). Haha.
Thanks so much for stopping by yesterday even though my post was not much. It has now been updated for your viewing pleasure. :)
Have a FABULOUS Thursday and I'll see you back here tomorrow for Farm Fresh Friday!

Forget Me Not
Hello! This card has been very camera shy but it's here now. Originally, I forgot my camera at home and had to settle for a bad, blurry camera phone shot to give you a little peek, but then I forgot the camera again today and desperate times call for desperate measures. The shipping department at work has a small digi camera, so I ran all the way back there and borrowed it for a few mins. Phew! And voila, a pic to show you!
I made this card to send as a condolence to a friend of a friend. I realized after, that maybe the purple made the card seem to cheery for the occassion. But I suppose now is as good of a time as any to send a bright (paper) bouquet of flowers to someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. I know if it were me, I would welcome any and all thoughts, prayers and little notes thrown my way.
Hugs to you all, my dear friends!

You're Absolutely Fabulous
Hello My Dear Friends!
I'm back as promised and today I have a card that I made to let a special someone know that she is being thought of and prayed for. I got this fabulous Diane Duda stamp several months ago and have had this image colored up for a while but it's just been waiting for the right time to jump onto a card. And today's the day! The embossing is a tad hard to read because the stamp writing is so fine, but the sentiment reads, "In good times or bad, You're absolutely fabulous." I think that's true for all of you! You're all wonderfully beautiful women, don't let anyone tell you any differently. :) Have a SUPERB Tuesday!
Deets:
Stamps: Sugar Nellie, Diane Duda Curtsy, SU! Absolutely Fabulous Sentiment
Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade, Razzleberry, White CS, AC textured CS
Ink: Copics, Momento Black, Opaque Emboss Powder
Embies: American Crafts Ribbon

Oh What a Feeling...
When we're dancing on the ceiling! I think my head is still spinning from all the excitement from last week's card previews and challenges. It was a total blast though! I'm back today with another card using the adorable 80's Anya (limited edition) and channeling this catchy tune by Lionel Richie! I thought 80's Anya needed a hip girl guitar player to join her for this song too...like from Heart or from The Bangles!
Hope your week starts off great!! I'll see you tomorrow!
Deets:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm 80's Anya (LE) and Rockstar Anya
Paper: American Crafts PP, DCWV PP, Melon Mambo

About A Boy
Helloooo! Are you still coming down off the high of yesterday's excitement? I hope everyone had fun with the hop and I can't wait to see what you create with the new stamps!
It's Farm Fresh Friday again! This week I got to try my hand at coming up with something fun to challenge and inspire you! I was thinking about how I naturally gravitate toward making cards with females in mind and how I would love to have more ideas for boy cards. So I thought of 'About A Boy.' Anything boy-friendly that you would give to a male; not just to use a male stamp, but actually want to give it to a male. LOL! Jess came up with the no flowers rule and I think that's totally appropriate because I don't know if boys like cards with flowers...lol.
So, I actually came up with two cards for you!! Here I thought I was void of all "boy" mojo but then once I made one I decided to go right ahead and make another!
The first card uses a digi that's available by new TGF artist Janet McDonnell and it's called Josh's New Guitar. I'm definitely finding my way around the digi world these days and getting a little more comfortable playing with digital images. This one is super fun and totally rockin for 'boy' cards!
The second uses an oldie but a goodie, Quarterback Ian! And I just HAD to color him up with Seahawk colors. Woot woot! I found this super cute paper too that is appropriately called All About Boys...so I just had to use that, even though I had to cut most of it down to fit the scale of the card! So sad. But a fun card to make nonetheless!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along in the FFF challenge!!
Have a great weekend!

TGF Release and Blog Hop!!
Hi Friends!! It's release day at The Greeting Farm and we're having a Blog Hop to showcase the 6 new releases, celebrate our new designer, Marina Neira, officially welcome our 4 Fall Gardeners and to give away some free stamps!! Wahooo, how's that for a bit of excitement!!
If you didn't arrive via Cheryl's blog, than you'll want to start the hop back at the TGF blog so you don't miss out on any of the sneaks or your chances to win candy! One lucky winner will win the ENTIRE October Release!!
My card today (and gift box!) features the new set of gift tags called Merry Tags and they are just perfect for labelling all your Christmas gifts and using for holiday greetings. As you may have noticed too...there's some new TGF paper in the house! I just couldn't resist wrapping up this little gift box with this adorable Merry Merry patterned paper! And the card features the new paper as well. **note this is NOT wrapping paper, it's 6x6 patterned paper, but wouldn't that be cool...maybe someday.
All 6 of the releases (rubber and digi) are available today at the Farm...and don't forget, we'll have the new Anya's and Ians coming out on the 15th too!
Thanks so much for stopping by,! You're next stop is LISA'S blog and I know you won't be disappointed for what she has in store for you!
