Sweetie Pie Chef
Hello and Happy Thursday!
It is a very happy Thursday for me...because it's payday! Woot woot! AND because I get to share another Fun and Fabulous card with you!!
My card today features another stamp from By LORi Designs, but this time it's not a PJ, it's a Lollipop!! :) This little darlin is Lollipop Chef and she's cooking up some sweetness just for YOU!
Again, I have to apologize because I'm at a loss for the details to my card. A while back I did a card kit swap and these were the papers and embellishments from one of those kits. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the papers are once again, My Mind's Eye.
You can find Lolli Chef and all her other ADORABLE friends, HERE in the BLD Store.
Hugs and thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Oh, Baby!
Good Morning, Friends!
I hope you're all doing well on this fine Wednesday! I'm getting over a little bit of a cold, but motoring on!
I have a sweet baby card for you today! This one features Puddle Jumper Baby Levi, designed by the fabulous, LORi Boyd. I just LOVE how he's in a frame. He's sooooo cute!! (I know I say that about all the PJs! I can't help it!)
For my card I've used some papers that were in my stash---I'm so sorry, I don't know who makes them---I want to guess that it's MME. The "twinkle, twinkle stamp is Stampin' Up (In the Stars), as well as the ribbon. And of course the CUTIE PIE PJ Levi is from By LORi Designs, which you can find HERE in the digi shop!
Thanks so much for popping by today! Have a great one!

Inspiration Tuesday
Helloooooo and welcome to another fun Tuesday with Claudia and Company!
Thanks for popping in today! Since the challenges at C&Co. have gone to bi-weekly, the design team has cooked up something special for you on the alternate Tuesdays. It's called Inspiration Tuesday. On this day the DT will share cards or projects using some of the sampler packs available at Claudia and Company. There are so many fabulous patterned paper samplers at C&Co; it's one of my favorite things they carry...and at such a great price too!
For my card today, I've gotten to play with the beautiful Baby 2 Bride Papers. These papers are so lovely, that I wanted to try and use as many as I could. So I came up with this fun layout and as I was selecting which of the patterns to use, I realized the colors of these papers also worked really well for Easter! And so in light of all the bunnies and colored eggs that were hopping around the last few days (Canadian Easter was yesterday!), I decided to create this fun card.
The Baby 2 Bride papers and Coral Satin Ribbon can be found in the Claudia and Company Store.

Be sure and check out what the rest of the ladies have to share for Inspiration today! Thanks again for stopping by and have a GREAT Tuesday!
Deets: Stamps used on my card are from Wax Fruit Company and Papertrey Ink (sentiment). Tag is Martha Stewart Punch

New Life
Good Friday to You!
Before I share my card with you today, I'd just like to take a moment to reflect on Good Friday a little bit. The day that Jesus was on trial, forced to carry his own cross and then unjustly and unfathomably crucified, is know as Good Friday. Why is it then, "good?" Because the sacrifice that Jesus made, brings a message of Good News for all...New Life.
"One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?
"We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Luke 23:39-43
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
"So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation."
2 Corinthians 5:16-19
My card today is for this month's theme in the monthly card group I'm part of. The theme is 'things that awaken during Spring'. I think Spring is a perfect example of new life. I'm always in awe of how nature sprouts back to life during the Spring. And this causes me to reflect on the shedding of the old layers and starting anew...how God allows us to be a new creation in Him, because of His Son, and then because of the "pruning" of our hearts in the days, months and years that follow.
I chose to keep the image black and white and just add color to the plant and to the butterfly...in order to highlight the theme. And then I chose to CASE this wonderful layout from my very talented friend, Catherine. The patterned paper on my card is from Cosmo Cricket, the ribbon and background stamp are from Impress, the sentiment is Amy R for All that Scraps, and the main image itself is a retired hostess set from Stampin' Up. It's difficult to see on camera, but the butterfly and the sentiment have also both been highlighted with the glitter of clear Spica pen.
Thanks so very much for taking a look at my card today. May God bless you and your family abundantly this Easter.
With love,
kadie

Hoppy Thursday!
Hello! So, we find ourselves almost through another week...time flies, eh? I hope you've found yourself in the midst of a great one!
I have another fun By LORi Designs card for you today! Heehee, I was this close (holding up thumb and index finger just a smidge apart) to titling this post, "This Bun's for You." Hahaha! But, alas, I went the tame route and am saving the laugh for inside the post. :)
This sweet little Lollipop Bunny (or "Bun" if you will) is brand new from BLD. Ms. LORi snuck a few more immies into the store right after the release. And of course we all EEKED over the cuteness and had to work with them right away! You can find the fun new Lollipops right HERE in the store and check out the DT samples too!
For my card I decided to keep it pretty simple, because not only did I want to draw attention to Bunny, but I also wanted to try out a new floral stamp that my sweet friend, Mary gave me. There's something I will always love about a crisp, white background with little pops of color! And just for a tad of added flare, I've also used Stickles in the center of the flowers, a tiny bit of SU ribbon, and a touch of hand stitching. Oh, and the sentiment is Amy R, from All That Scraps.
Thanks so much for stopping by today to check out my card! I hope you will go check out the Lollipop Shop too and see all the fun stamps and inspired cards!
Hoppy Thursday!

Can You Dig It?
Hello Friends! Happy Wednesday!
A couple of us thought we would celebrate making it to the middle of the week, with a little humor! So it's time for another round of cards kits between my good friends Mary, Sandra and I.
Mary sent us this wonderfully fun kit several months ago and I guess we all just had to wait for the right mojo to come to us. :) Actually, truth be told, I needed Mary herself to come visit me IRL to finally inspire my card to come together! Yep, it's true, Mary paid me and The Rainy City a visit this last week and we had an absolute blast! We even had one full day without rain, can you believe it?
Okay, back to my card...
Inside the kit this time, was this super fun stamp from Doodle Factory/Starving Artist...Zed, from the Creatures II line. We also had 4 of the hilarious sentiments to chose from. I couldn't help it...just had to go with the classic nose picking one. :)
The fun papers are from Prima and then we had an array of fun embellishments to play with as well. Oh and I also decided to try out a new wood grain background stamp that I bought at Impress when Mary and I went "sight seeing." :)
And that's my card! I hope you "dig" it! It's so much fun to exchange card kits, because there's always so many different ideas that people come up with. It just amazes me! Please pop over and see how Mary and Sandra have used their kits and thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today!
Hugs,
kadie

Keeping It CAS
Hi There!
How are you on this fine Tuesday?
I hope your day is off to a great start!
How are you on this fine Tuesday?
I hope your day is off to a great start!
I'm back with another fun Challenge for Claudia and Company.
This time Joy has challenged us once again, but this time it's to create Clean And Simple cards. And the DT, has had fun getting to showcase some of the fun Sampler packs for our CAS samples!
As you can see, mine is a bright and spunky shade of fuchsia in the beautiful LUSH collection from My Mind's Eye. I decided to clip off just a smidge of each of the patterns, in order to highlight as many of the papers as I could. I also needed a stamp that would help make those papers pop, so I chose this fun stamp from Unity Company. I stamped the image twice and popped it up on the card, but it's hard to tell from the photo. :) I also added a little coloring to the hearts to match the fuchsia in the papers. And the last thing I did was hand draw a border to close it all in.
I hope you'll join us for this challenge. I can't wait to see what you create! You can find all of the papers I've used (including the cardstock) HERE in the Claudia and Company Store.
**note** while the Unity stamp I've used is an older one and not available in the store, C&Co does have a great selection of other Unity Stamps to choose from!
Be sure and check out what the rest of the DT have to share for Springtime Inspiration today! Thanks again for stopping by!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!
If you are here for the Heather B-Day Celebration Hop please click HERE!
Hello and Happy Friday (again) :)
I'm back with another fun card for By LORi Designs. You know that LORi Boyd is the designer of all those CUTIE PIE "Puddle Jumper" stamps, right? Well, the stamp I've used for today is a true PUDDLE JUMPER in all senses of the word. This is little Ella with her umbrella PJ. And Ella is not only literally puddle jumping in this scene, but Ella is also named after one of LORi's real life PJ's--and drawn to be nearly the splitting image too, in my opinion :) SO ADORABLE!!
So to bring little Ella to life on paper today, I've paired the image with DCWV "Green Stack" papers, included some stitching and Basic Grey buttons, and added Crystal Effects to make the puddle and the umbrella pop out. I also cased one of the layouts I spied in the newly published edition of PaperCrafting. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Whether the sun is shining or you find yourself puddle jumping like Ella, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
p.s. sorry, I was up late last night stamping and I forgot to put a little bit of color on Ella's cheeks...
It's a Fiesta!

From All Of Us
Good Morning! Happy Wednesday!
Today I wanted to share a little card with you that I made for someone very near and dear to my heart, my Mother-in-law. We got to go visit her last weekend (and the whole fam!) to celebrate her birthday with her and it was a blast (too short though)!
I wanted to make a special card just for her and since we're all pretty much dog-lovers in the family, I remembered that a sweet friend of mine had sent me some fun dog themed stamped images. I was so hoping this one from Stamping Bella was in that stash, and it was! Besides being inspired by my MIL to create this fun card, the layout was also completely inspired by this card that the very talented and creative, Arielle Gordon made.
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my card today! I hope you have a blessed Wednesday!

He Is Risen, Indeed!
"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces He was despised, and we held Him in low esteem. Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:2b-6 Hello and Happy Thursday! A bunch of us have decided since we did a "Jesus is the Reason" hop during Christmas time, that it be only fitting we do a similar hop in honor of Easter (or Resurrection Day). Thank you for joining us!
I've chosen to include the passage above from the book of Isaiah, because this is what Easter means to me. To me it's not about the bunnies and the coloring of eggs, although those things are fun. To me it's about the greatest gift I've ever known. Jesus walked this earth, suffered an unreasonable death and triumphantly rose from the grave for one purpose and one alone...so that He could extend an immeasurable amount of Mercy and Grace to everyone who would call on His name.
This is why I celebrate Easter...and I'm not trying to push any agenda by sharing this today, I just wanted to share my heart and also show a couple of cards to honor of this time of year.
Thanks again for stopping by and Happy Easter to you and yours.
And here is the complete hop order:

I decided to go fairly simple, in order to highlight the papers, so I chose this fun stamp from Unity Company. I've also added just a little flare by using one of the C&Co. Some Bunny Loves You
Hi Friends! How's your Monday going so far?
I had something happen this weekend, that I can't remember ever having happened before...the weekend was too long. It felt like the LONGEST weekend and I was actually excited to come back to work...lol. It was because of a little situation at home...nothing bad, just a little out of the norm and a little stressful. But it's all good, things will be happy snappy again soon. :)
Speaking of Happy Snappy...I have a By LORi Designs Puddle Jumper card for you today!! This is PJ Darla and she was one of the stamps released for March. Isn't she a sweetheart? I think so! I actually meant to share her with you on Thursday or Friday, but alas, I had camera issues. BUT I'm thrilled to share this card with you today!
I've paired little Darla with some new papers from Bo Bunny called Ad Lib. I just LOVE all the bright and fun colors in this collection. I've also used some fabby wrinkle ribbon made by my BLD teammate, Sherryann!! You can find all the fun BLD stamps right HERE and be sure to check back on Friday because we'll be showcasing what's new for the month of April--you won't want to miss all the cuteness!!
Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
