Bethany’s Card

Howdy Friends!

I can finally share with you the card I made for my niece’s birthday, now that it has been gifted to her! I could not believe how much this stamp Dale by artist Mo Manning for Mo’s Digital Pencil looks like my sweet niece! And then even more, I found this rustic farmlike patterned paper which said ‘60% sweet 40% sassy’ and that is also spot on! heehee

I’ve colored this cutie up with Copic markers and added a little bit of sparkle in a few subtle places.

See ya soon!

Love you, so, so much

Hello, Friends!

I’ve been busily getting inky in my craft space and seeing if after all the years, coloring is like riding a bike. I think I can confirm that the muscle memory is indeed there. 🤭

Since I had been working on coloring, a few images were ready to go and just needed some inspiration to match them with. I decided to visit Splitcoast Stampers because I remembered they have daily inspirational challenges, and found that my friend, Jeanette hosts the Wednesday sketch challenge! I was so excited!

I printed it out, went to my space and got to work thinking of what papers and embellishments would compliment the Mo Manning stamp, called With Love, (originally bought from Penny Black and is available in digital form at Mo’s store) that I had colored up and in waiting. Jeanette’s sketch was the perfect layout to highlight this image.

Here is the sketch called SC996

Hope you like what you see! Thanks for taking a look. AND there’s still time to join in the fun for this week’s sketch over at SCS! Would love to see what you create with it as well!

Wag More

Hi Friends!
Welcome to another fun Thursday and new Deconstructed Sketch for the week!

For my card I've used this pup with attitude, It's All in the Accessories, from artist Mo Manning, over at Mo's Digital Pencil. I've paired him with  papers from We R Memory Keepers, ribbon from PTI and sentiment from Rosie's Roadshow that I found at Impress Stamps. I also turned the sketch on it's side to fit the image.

Be sure and visit the other Deconstructed Sketch Girls and see how they were inspired by this week's sketch. Hope to see you playing along with us!!

My Favorite TPE

Hi Friends!
Merry Christmas Eve!

It's time for challenge #180 over at The Pink Elephant and this one is going to run for two weeks. The theme is ANYTHING GOES and the DT was instructed to share with you our very favorite TPE cards from the past year.

For my card I've used this very sweet Mo Manning stamp that I got in rubber over at 7kidscollegefund c/o Stampavie and paired it with papers from My Mind's Eye and Tim Holtz mini rosette die. I think this stamp is SO SWEET and how I envision Hubs and I one day. I love this card so much it's been sitting on my dining room table since I made it last February.

Be sure to go visit The Pink Elephant Blog to see all the favorites from 2012!

And have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Anything Goes At ABC

Hi Friends!
I have 2 post for you today! Can you believe it? :)

A couple week's ago I was a winner at ABC Challenges, which meant that I get to participate today in their new challenge! How cool is that! The challenge this week is ANYTHING GOES and I decided to share a card that I've been waiting to share with you for a while now.

I made this Mo Manning card for my sweet friend, Paola's Mo Manning swap. And I thought today was the perfect day to share it, because it's Paola's BIRTHDAY!!

Paola is one amazing woman: an incredible mother, daughter and grandmother and a sweet, sweet friend to all that she meets. I have been SO blessed to know her and share a friendship with her for 5 years now! BIG HUGS and smoochies to her on this special day.

The stamp I used for this card is Mo's version of Snow White and I've paired her with papers from Amuse Studio, flower from Prima, ribbon is SU and button from Basic Grey. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out this week's ABC Challenge!!

Bella and Bronte

Hi Friends! Happy Tuesday!

I'm back with a fun little card I made for my swap group last month. My friend Barb, was the hostess and she picked FUN FOLD for the July theme.

While I LOVE this theme and I really enjoy seeing all the amazing folds people use, to be quite honest, I'm not very great at complex folds. I would like to blame it all on my Score-pal and say, perhaps mine wasn't made right, but alas, I think I am the problem! I can't tell you how many pieces of paper I go through trying to make folds work! Haha. I think I'm highly dysfunctional in the area of scoring and folding. :) But after many attempts and trying different things, I settled on the card that you see. It started out as a combo of two folds but it ended up being mostly a Gate Fold.:)

I used a Mo Manning stamp called Bella and Bronte and paired her with papers from Me and My Big Ideas (both gifts from a dear, dear friend of mine). Bella and Bronte are colored in Copics and matched with a button from Basic Grey. Oh and the sentiment is not part of this set, but came from a Kanban set (I think I got it fromthe Sugar Nellie store online).

Thanks for stopping by to take a look! Have a wonderful day!

Big Girl Pants

Happy Monday!
I'm back with another super fun challenge over at The Pink Elephant!
This week for TPE#135, we have a photo inspiration...and it's a mouth watering one!!
All you have to do is use the below photo (c/o Paula Dean) as inspiration for your card or project and then link back to the TPE blog.
For my card I've used this adorable stamp from Mo Manning that I got in rubber from Stamping Bella, called Big Girl Pants. I've paired this cutie with some My Mind's Eye papers to match the colors in the photo. The sentiment also came with this stamp and I couldn't help but smile when I saw it! I can think of a few friends (and me too) that would find encouragement in this mantra. The ribbon is from PTI and the flower is Prima.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope that you'll join in on the fun this week over at The Pink Elephant Challenge Blog! Be sure and check out all the amazing color inspirations that Ella's Girls have for you!
