It's gonna be a BRIGHT and SUN-SHINY day for sure at The Greeting Farm! Hooray!
Today is THE day two new sets are available for purchase, as TGF is proud to debut their new line of CLEAR stamps!
My project features the Bantastic set and is paired with another cutie pie Oliver stamp (c/o TGF as well). For today's card I decided to use the Bantastic banner stamps in a more tradition sense (if you didn't see yesterday's card, using the set as a background stamp, you can scroll down one post), by creating a BANNER! I wanted to be sure and celebrate TGF's 3rd Bday in style, so I also used some fun papers from DCWV The Celebration Stack. And that's my card!
TGF is SO excited for today's hop to combine some Greeting Farm alumni (that's me!) along with their current Farmers! Be sure to start the Hop off at the TGF BLOG, because one lucky winner will receive BOTH sets just for commenting and participating in the hop! And just in case you get lost along the way in all of the excitement that is CLEARLY mounting...here is the list:

Hey, Everyone!

Well, wonder no more, because some of the cherished members of the TGF alum, along with the current Farmers are thrilled to bring you a BRAND NEW line by TGF:

Before we go any further, we have to say, these stamps are not replacing our rubber line. We are testing the waters to bring you some fun new designs, and most of all QUALITY stamps! To add to the fun, we also have the opportunity to share some RE-RELEASES, in addition to the NEW releases and are excited to get started with these first two sets!
INTRODUCING.....
BANTASTIC and MY FAIRY PRINCESS
For my card, I've used BANTASTIC to create a background and paired that with Little Oliver from the OA-Ahoy set.
So, what do you think? Are you CLEARLY stunned or could you see RIGHT THROUGH our snippet yesterday? Anxious to try the new line? Well, be sure to leave a comment on the TGF BLOG to see who ELSE is previewing the FUN today. Have a Safe Trip

Hello and welcome to another Fabulously Fun Farm Fresh Friday!! (try saying that 3 times!)
Today's challenge is to use this AWESOME sketch by Farmer Mary!

For my card I've used Amelia, from the new O&A Journey set. Amelia has such an amazingly beautiful vintage feel to her that I really wanted to find a paper that helped compliment that same aesthetic. I think this paper from My Mind's Eye was able to do the trick!
Thanks SO much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along in the challenge! Be sure to check out all the AMAZING samples by the rest of the Farmers and Critter Crew! AND have a GREAT weekend!!

Where Have You Been?
Or ...'where are you going' is more appropriate for me, because bright and early tomorrow morning I'm headed off on vacation!! Woohooo!
You can still count on a Farm Fresh Friday post though, of course (gotta love that auto-post)!

Did you have a nice 4th of July? We got to spend some wonderful time with both my DH and my families over the gloriously LONG weekend! AND we were trying to keep the house clean, so I couldn't pull all my craft stuff out into the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, etc (just kidding about that last one) and create cards over the weekend.
But, alas, I DO have a card for you today!
This is little Oliver from the O&A Journey set that was released July 1 from The Greeting Farm! I just can't get enough of these O&A stamps...they just keep getting cuter and cuter!!
I chose to pair Ollie with this Cosmo Cricket Jack's World paper and sentiment, because this stamp reminded me of when I'd get in a tizzy, pack up my backpack and 'run away' down the street. I'd usually end up walking to the end of the street, sit on the curb for a few minutes--look behind me every few seconds to see if my mom was coming to find me--and then eventually *sigh* and walk back home. Oh, the drama of being a kid!!
Thanks for popping by today to check out my card! Be sure to stop back on Friday for the latest FFF challenge with TGF!

Sparkle

Hello! Happy Friday!
I still owe you a card from yesterday (actually I owe my stampin pals Sandra and Mary a card)! This week has been a tad overwhelming for me, but I'm really happy it's Friday and looking forward to some down time this weekend.
My card for you today uses this week's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. We got to work with a FABULOUS sketch this week from our Dear Mercy Kerin! I'm really digging the elements of this sketch and I can't wait to pop over to the TGF blog and see what the team has come up with!
I thought with the flower that was included in the layout that this would be a sweet sketch to use for this month's Amelia stamp. She's the other half of the 'My Favorite Things' set that I used for my Oliver card this week.
These stamps are SO fun!
I hope you will play along with us this week. Thanks so much for stopping by to see my card today. Have a great weekend!

Treasure

Hello, Friends!
Happy Wednesday to you!
My card for you today features another cutie from The Greeting Farm! This is Oliver from the new Oliver & Amelia 'My Favorite Things' set that was released June 1. I don't know what kind of magical powers these O&A stamps have, but every time I color one up and create a card, I just totally fall in love with it!! And of course I had a blast coloring up the fishbowl and adding crystal effects to make the bowl glossy. It's always a fun day when I get to pull out the crystal effects!
You'll notice that Oliver has a little Treasure...his first goldfish. :) I think the true treasure is the moment though...so many neat things happen in our lives and it's up to us to take them all in and enjoy. I tend to think, for myself the biggest collection of moments I have are from my childhood. I really loved being a kid. Something really funny that I did when I was younger (that I'm able to watch on video now) is that I asked my dad if I could hammer some nails. I didn't want to make anything...I had no plans...I just wanted to try it out. So my dad gave me a piece of wood, some nails and a hammer and I was off and running. I took my loot over to a corner of the front yard, sat down, put the board on my lap and proceeded to try and hold my first nail with one hand and the hammer with the other. Of course I just couldn't figure out why the board kept bouncing back and forth and why I didn't have enough strength to get the nail to take hold. My dad looked over at me and knew that I wasn't in any danger of hurting myself (putting a nail in my leg!) because there was no way I could get any leverage with the board on my lap. He let me do my thing for awhile to see if I would try out other methods and then he sweetly suggested that I might want to try putting the board on the ground and kneeling beside it. Of course then I quickly figured out that the board was on concrete and the nails only had an inch to go, but I didn't mind...I was just grinning ear to ear that I had used a hammer and nails. :)
I'm really looking forward to experiencing parenthood someday and taking in all of these moments of discovery with my own children...and of course capturing them on video (yes, I'm going to be one of THOSE parents). :)
I hope you're finding moments to be treasured today! Thanks for stopping by!

My Buddy
"My Buddy, My Buddy...wherever I go, he goes. My Buddy, My Buddy...my buddy and Me!"

Good Morning, Friends! Happy Thursday to you! I couldn't help but start off with that catchy little tune from the My Buddy (an 80's toy) advertisement! Ohhhh and then shortly after My Buddy came out, Kid Sister was also flying off the shelves (and the tune continued to be stuck in our heads)! Can I just say...I LOVE the 80's. I can't help it. Even though those were wild and crazy times (so I've heard), I had a blast growing up in the time of Cabbage Patch Kids, Stirrup leggins, Get in Shape Girl leg warmers, side ponytails, jelly bracelets, Debbie Gibson and Kids Incorporated (because I wasn't allowed to watch MTV when it first started). Good times!
Okay, but my card truly has nothing to do with the 80's...the whole buddy theme had me off on a tangent! :)
My card for you today features Amelia in the new 'Buddies' Oliver and Amelia set, released this month at The Greeting Farm. I just love this stamp! I had a kitty growing up and I cuddled him and carried him around just like little Amelia here.
For the layout of my card, I was inspired by this week's Mojo Monday sketch #133. Fun Fun Fun!
I also decided to go with the Cosmo Cricket papers again...I couldn't help it! You'll see them again tomorrow too for my Farm Fresh Friday card. *grin*
I hope you have a terrific Thursday and I'll see you back here tomorrow! And I'll see you on Saturday too for the Busy Beauties Release!

Paper: Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday, Kiwi Kiss, Bermuda Bay

TGF Cares

Hi Friends!
It's TGF RELEASE DAY today--and that's no April fools joke! :) All of the SWEET previews that you've been spying this week on the TGF and CA&F blogs are now in the store~ and that includes:
'Get Well' by Marina Neira, Stamping Anya, Wild Sprouts Eric and Dee Dee, and Oliver & Amelia 'Buddies'! Hooray! Can you stand the cuteness?
My card today, for your viewing pleasure, features Oliver from the 'Buddies' set. I'm so excited to have a puppy stamp now!!! AND the O&A stamps are so much fun to color!!
Be sure to stop by all the DT blogs for more inspiration!
Today we are also excited and honored to announce the 1st "TGF Cares" Charity Card Drive. This is something that TGF has been wanting to do for a long time, and now it's finally coming together for a really great cause that is dear to many of our hearts. A few years ago, Jessica was introduced to a family who was only a few weeks away from losing their two-year old daughter. Even through this terrible tragedy, the family couldn't say enough about how wonderful the Ronald McDonald House had been to them. (Please see Jessica's blog for more on this touching story and how TGF customers can help put a smile on the faces of many who are in need of them!)
There are so many sick children whose families do everything short of moving mountains for these kids to help them get well. Not only is it important to lift the spirits of these courageous children, but also the families-the parents, siblings, and other relatives-during all of the emotional ups and downs of a child's fight for life.
TGF is proud and honored to be collecting cards that will go to the RMH and the Fairview Children's Hospital in/near Minneapolis. Cards will be given to the children, as well as parents and siblings of these petite patients, to encourage them during the long and brave journeys of theirs. Be sure to stop by the TGF BLOG today for complete details on this special contest and see how you can get involved.

***THIS JUST IN~~(I'm adding this at the bottom because I don't want to take away from the important TGF Cares message)
TGF is featured in this month's edition of ScrapStreet Online Magazine!!! And...I have to grin a little from ear to ear because it's my first time being published, and what an honor for it to be because of and along side my TGF family!! Thank you Marie and Jess, from the bottom of my heart! EEEEEEK!

Oh Happy Day!

They say it's your birthday (da na na na na) We're gonna have a good time (da na na na na)!
Hello, and Happy Friday! Today it's a birthday celebration over at The Greeting Farm...and in honor of our beloved leader and TGF owner Marie turning 30, this Farm Fresh Friday Challenge is to make Birthday cards!
For my card I've used Oliver from the new Oliver and Amelia set. I also tried something super fun by adding candy! I was trying to figure out what kind of candy would be small enough and colorful to fill this little heart window and finally decided on Nerds. I can't remember the last time I bought or ate (yes, I had to try a few!) Nerds. And when I went to the store to buy them the only package they had was rainbow, which turned out to be neon rainbow colors...so I picked out all the orange Nerds to match this card. :) Since my nephew is turning 6 next week I thought this card would be perfect for him!
I hope you decide to play along with us over on the TGF blog! And be sure to check out the awesome samples from the rest of the DT gang! Have a GREAT weekend!
