New Moon Trailer

10 more days and my SIL and I will be in the theater seeing New Moon. :) We're don't consider ourselves Twihards but we do enjoy a good story. And since the Twilight characters were what inspired some of my first creations for The Greeting Farm, I couldn't pass up the chance to play with these Wild Sprout digis that just happened to look a lot like Bella and Jacob! :)
I'll be back tomorrow with a couple more digi creations using Marina Neira and Janet McDonnell's stamps. Until then...have a fun Tuesday!

It's About Time

For another Twilight character, eh? Ever since I first started posting Anya's and Ian's dressed up as Cullen's, I've had Jacob and Reneesme in the works (I haven't forgotten Carlise or Emmett, either, not to worry). So, in honor of my dear friend, Michelle, who is totally the leader of Team Jacob...here is your "woof" (as she so affectionate calls him)!
Did anyone get to watch the movie on Saturday? I had received an email last week saying that my pre-ordered copy wouldn't arrive until March 25. So imagine my great surprise and delight when I opened my mailbox on Saturday and there it was! Yay! I couldn't resist and had to get my fix later that night. :)
I hope everyone has a great start to his or her week!

Deets:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Dress Me Ian; TGF Hero-sentiment and Pretty Hat-wee woof
Paper: K & Company PP, AC textured CS Earth Tones, Mat Stack Brights
Ink: SU! Markers, Black Stazon, Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Embies: Orange Fibers, Misc brad, Paper Distressor

It's Cullen Time!!

I know you've all been on pins and needles waiting for me to share another Twilight character that I've seen in one of the FABulous Greeting Farms stamps! I'm sorry, ladies, I know you're just dying to see Jacob...but I have to have something to keep you coming back!

Here is the lovely Pretty Hat Anya masquerading as the enchanting and ever so exquisite Esme.

Thank you, thank you to my dearest, Sandra for sending me this image. This collection would not be possible without you!! And thank you, thank you to all my Sistahs because YOU are my inspiration and my motivation!

Hugs and Hap-Happy Tuesday!

P.S. Did you see Kelly is featured on Elzybell? You Go, Girl!

She's Got Spunk and Style

It's Monday morning again! Ah, how the weekend flies by so fast. We had a pretty eventful weekend at my house and in the midst of it all I made sure to make time to work on (drum roll please) Little Alice Anya!

I had a blast altering the Rockstar Anya image that my dear friend, Sandra was gracious to send me. And also going into the Dress Me Anya "closet" and altering some of the clothes to fit Alice's style. I really love how Alice turned out, although I'm sad that you can't see her 3-D hair in the photo (I tried, I really tried) because it's jet black.

I must be honest though and say that while I LOVE how Alice turned out and I love the PP I chose---as soon as I saw it I thought this is spunky and stylish, just like Alice Cullen---when I stepped back from the finished product I was slightly (just a tiny bit) disappointed. I am happy with all the elements (layout, embies, paper, colors) but it looks a bit too Anime to me. Regardless, I hope that it screams Alice and that you knew right away that it was none other than. She tends to stand out from her family anyway as far as style and boldness, so I think it's okay.

Hope you enjoy today's Cullen Trading card!

Hugs to you for stopping by.

The Quiet One

Hi Friends! It's time for another Cullen card. This one is Little Jasper Ian. When I first saw this stamp (The Greeting Farm's, Hello Ian) I thought of Jasper and his background story. I don't know, it may be more appropriate for Carlise, but I really think of Jasper as a gentleman and the strong silent type, which are two things this stamp brought to mind. And I also envisioned him bringing this flower to Alice.
I have tried to tie all the cards together in a couple ways. The first is with distressing. I want the cards to seem from a different time; aged a bit with history, as we know these characters to be. The second is with this misc. stamp that I have sort of envisioned as the Cullen Family Crest. I have tried to incorporate it somewhere in the background of each card. Unfortunately, with today's card I used 3 PP's and 3 textured cardstocks, which left little room for me to include the crest. I decided this time to use it on the inside of the card.
I'm not sure if you can see it very well, but there is a sentiment on the front of this card. Also, I welcome any thoughts toward whether or not I need something else along the edges of the circle that outline the Ian Image.
I hope you enjoy today's card and thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend.

Cullen Trading Cards

My Friend Mary suggested that I was making Cullen trading cards and I thought that was pretty funny. I suppose I am and I can't think of a funner way to spend my card making time!
Here is Little Rosalie Anya. I know that Rosalie is supposed to be really hardcore as far as her attitude and interaction with others, but this is how I imagined that she longs to live. In her human years she had wealth and status and longed to be a wife, a mother, and all that went along with that in that day. So with that impression, I created a light card as opposed to a dark card. I struggled with the layout a bit but I was truly delighted in the end. And it gave me the perfect opportunity to use the new Martha Stewart punches I got for Christmas! I have also done the insides of all these cards but this is the first one I remembered to share with you. Edward's card also says "Thinking of You" inside, but Bella's says "All you need is Love." Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday.

Oh, I meant to mention that I don't often list the supplies I used for my card, but feel free to ask if there's any supply or technique you're curious about.

Little Bella Anya

Here is Little Bella Anya. I wished this pic showed the PP from Basic Grey's "Boxer" better. I just adore it! The Full card is a bit washed out due to bad lighting, but then again, Bella is supposed to be pale, right?

Twilight Inspired

My friend, Sandra recently posted a fantastic card using The Greeting Farm's Hello Ian. In fact, she's been creating adorable cards with their stamps for quite some time now. And as it turns out TGF now has an Ian and Anya set available that is Twilight-esk and feeds my recent quasi-obsession with everything Twilight.
And wouldn't you know, all it took was a little bit of Edward to unleash my mojo.
