Say It Ain't So!

If you’ve already been over at The Greeting Farm blog this morning you know that on a happy note, it’s PREVIEW DAY (wooohoooo!!!), but on another note it’s a sad sad day for me (and Cindy). Today I’m showing you my last Farm Fresh Friday card as a Farmer for TGF. **insert big frowning face**

Thought us Farmers were lifers, eh? I wished on so many stars and birthday candles, but alas, our contracts are just for 1 year. And boy does a year FLY by!!

But it’s been the absolute best year and a half for me. When I got the email in March 2009 offering me a Gardener position, I had no idea what a wonderful journey I would be embarking on! I have grown so much in my craft, cultivated so many beautiful friendships and seen every room in my house fill up with stamping supplies (Mr. UPS man and I are best buds now)! I want to thank YOU all from the bottom of my heart for your support, heartfelt comments and friendship. And of course, Marie and Jess--words cannot express how truly grateful I am to the both of you! MUAH.

This is not the end of the road for me though…I feel there is something VERY exciting just around the corner for me…so I hope that you’ll check back real soon to see what that is. And until then, I’m having a little going away party for myself…see blog post below this one.

My Farm Fresh Friday card features Creeper Wednesday. And you may have noticed that on the TGF blog she was going out with a little more class saying, “this is how I roll,” but here on my blog she’s mocking me for being sad by saying, “Oh no! You’d better call the waaambulance.” Well, Creeper Wednesday…fine, call the waaambulance…there’s no shame in being sad today. Heehee.
The FAB sketch I used for this card is the FARM FRESH FRIDAY challenge for this week and it was designed by the talented Farmer Mercy. Both sentiments are from There She Goes Stamps, the paper is new from My Minds Eye called Blackbird, the button is Sassafras and the ribbon is Maya Road.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I’m sending each of you a big virtual hug right now! AND be sure to check out the details of my BLOG CANDY below!!

Keep Rockin'

Hi Friends!
Happy Friday to you!
Today, I'm of course, back with another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge card from The Greeting Farm!
This week's challenge is a color challenge and it's one of my all time favorite color combos. Hawaiian Shores, Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss--aka Turquoise, Light Green and Orange!! AND you can use this color combo in ANYWAY you want to!!

For my card I chose to use Creeper Friday and pair her with Mercy Kerin's awesome Tuesday Sketch #87! Thanks for the inspirational sketch, Mercy!
And can I just say one more time how much I LOVE this color combo!! :)
The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye, the ribbon is Stampin' Up and Miss sweet and sassy Creeper Friday is colored with Copic Markers. Oh, and the 'Rockin' sentiment is TGF!!

I'm sorry that this post is short and sweet today...I had a ditzy story to share too (me being the dingbat), but then realized it might just be one of those things that is only funny to me! LOL! So with that, I'll just sign off and say Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll play along with us!! AND be sure to check out all the inspiration that the Farmers and Critter Crew have left for you over at The Greeting Farm Blog!!
Have a great weekend! (that's a lot of exclamation marks. heehee)

Floss It!

Hello, Everyone! Happy Friday!
It's time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge, but before I get to that, I'd like to wish my Sweet Friend and TGF Creative Coordie JESSICA a very very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Love YOU JESS!

And in true TGF style, we're having a SURPRISE BLOG HOP today to celebrate and honor the Birthday Girl!! You should have arrived from PAM's BLOG, but if you didn't you can find a complete list of the blog hop order where the party starts over at the CA&F Blog!
Be SURE to start off there by leaving Jess some LOVE…because what’s a birthday without presents!! One lucky commenter will win Creeper Monday and Creeper Wednesday!! Winner will be announced Monday morning on the CA&F blog! Again, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Sweet Jessica!!

Next up on the hop is the talented Randi!!

And now for this week's FFF challenge. TGF has collaborated with all of your dentists to bring you the "don't forget to floss" challenge. Okay, okay, just kidding, it has nothing to do with going to the dentist, but it does have everything to do with FLOSS! The challenge this week is to incorporate embroidery floss into your card. And if you don't have embroidery floss at your finger tips, then no worries! Twine, yarn, cording, or anything else you can thread through will work!

My card for you today uses the beach baby Anya from the Sunshine Scrap Kit and has a fun birthday flair to celebrate my sweet friend, Jess! It even uses one of the sentiment stamps that Jess herself created! The paper and the balloons are from Echo Park Paper.

We hope you'll play along with us this week and have fun hoppin with us to celebrate Jessica! Also, don't forget to sign up for the TGF Anniversary HOP! Have fun and have a SUPER weekend!

Digi Try This

Hi Friends and welcome to another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge!
This week it's a two-fold challenge. The first part is to use a TGF digi stamp and the second part is to incorporate a new technique you've been wanting to try or have recently gotten into.

I recently went to a Copic Certification class and while I was there I got to play with the air brush kit. Of course I got hooked and had to pick one up! So, this is my first attempt at using the Copic airbrush system on my own! AND since I only had a couple markers that weren't Ciaos (the airbrush system is made to fit sketch and originals best) I knew that I was going to do a little sky and earth background.
To go along with my scene, I chose to use one of the new Chibi's from around the world--Chibi Africa! I paired her airbrushed background with some Bo Bunny paper, a big prima flower and WASHI tape, to add that extra something something...and voila! I hope you think it's cute and I also hope that you'll play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget to check out what the rest of The Greeting Farm's DT has been up to! AND while you're doing that you can get all the details about what's going to be happening VERY SOON over at TGF!!

Okay, I just can't contain my excitement, so I'll give you a little hint...We're almost at the 2 year anniversary mark since Marie opened her store and shared Anya, Ian and all our favorite Critters, Creepers and Cuties with the world! And to help her celebrate, the design team and YOU are going to have a blast and cover blogland with all things The Greeting Farm...by participating in the second TGF CUSTOMER BLOG HOP!! Are you excited yet?? Head on over to TGF blog to check out all the details and sign up for this momentous hop!!

Have a Safe Trip

Hello and welcome to another Fabulously Fun Farm Fresh Friday!! (try saying that 3 times!)
Today's challenge is to use this AWESOME sketch by Farmer Mary!

For my card I've used Amelia, from the new O&A Journey set. Amelia has such an amazingly beautiful vintage feel to her that I really wanted to find a paper that helped compliment that same aesthetic. I think this paper from My Mind's Eye was able to do the trick!

Thanks SO much for stopping by today and I hope you'll play along in the challenge! Be sure to check out all the AMAZING samples by the rest of the Farmers and Critter Crew! AND have a GREAT weekend!!

Sew Sweet

Hello, My Friends!!
It's Friday again (woohoo!) and you know what that means...another super fun Farm Fresh Friday challenge from The Greeting Farm!

This week, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a card that has stitching on 2 or more layers of paper on your card! So get out your handy dandy sewing machine (or if you're like me--your needle and thread) and go SEW RANDOM!

For my card I chose to use Creeper Wednesday (who appeared in the TGF store yesterday!) because she kinda looked like a little seamstress to me. Of course, Miss Wednesday can't be put into a box, she does have many other interests and abilities, but for this card she was SEW perfect!! :)
I paired her up with Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl paper and chipboard, added my STITCHING and embellies, and VOILA!
I hope you'll join in on the fun! In the meantime, check out the fabulous samples that the Farmers and Critter Crew have created for your inspiration!

Feeling Farm Fresh Sketchy

No more monkeys jumpin on the bed!! That's what the dr said! Or in this case Miss Thursday from the Creeper Crew. :)

Yahoo! It's Farm Fresh Friday over at The Greeting Farm and this week's challenge is a sketch challenge!! This fanastic and brilliantly simplistic sketch was provided by the fabulously talented and ever so sweet, Cindy Haffner! And all you need to do to enter this week's contest is to use a TGF stamp, Farmer Cindy's sketch and upload to the TGF gallery (details on the blog). I hope you'll play with us this week! One lucky winner will win a prize!

I'm very excited that it's Friday...if you couldn't tell! This weekend I get to do something SUPER fun---I'm going to take a COPICS class! And I'm so curious if I'll bump into any of my fellow stamper friends! It should be a blast. Have a great weekend!

Life is a Song

Ahhhh, Friday at long last!
And you know what that means...another Farm Fresh Friday challenge from The Greeting Farm!
This week the challenge is to Button it! That means use at least 3 buttons and a TGF stamp, upload your card to the TGF galleria under FFF Button it, and that's it!

I have been wanting to use this adorable Irvin the Owl digi stamp designed by artist Marina Neira since the moment I first spied him in all his cuteness! Every time I see this stamp I just can't help but smile. So Cute! And he takes to color like no other! I paired him up with this week's Mojo Monday sketch and the fabulously colorful new Delovely papers from Cosmo Cricket. And Viola!

Be sure to stop by the TGF blog and check out all the fantastic ways to incorporate buttons onto your creations. And I hope that you'll play along with us this week too! Have a great weekend!

Sparkle

Hello! Happy Friday!

I still owe you a card from yesterday (actually I owe my stampin pals Sandra and Mary a card)! This week has been a tad overwhelming for me, but I'm really happy it's Friday and looking forward to some down time this weekend.

My card for you today uses this week's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. We got to work with a FABULOUS sketch this week from our Dear Mercy Kerin! I'm really digging the elements of this sketch and I can't wait to pop over to the TGF blog and see what the team has come up with!
I thought with the flower that was included in the layout that this would be a sweet sketch to use for this month's Amelia stamp. She's the other half of the 'My Favorite Things' set that I used for my Oliver card this week.
These stamps are SO fun!
I hope you will play along with us this week. Thanks so much for stopping by to see my card today. Have a great weekend!

Bejeweled and Bedazzled

Welcome to the Farm Fresh Friday with Glitz and lots of Bling! Today's challenge over at The Greeting Farm is to create a card that draws inspiration from your favorite piece of jewelry, a piece you're dreaming of having or simply something beautiful, glitzy or fabulous that has caught your eye---and to include a picture of that inspiration along with the post of your card.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding ring, but I hope you don't mind, I decided not to use it because I didn't really feel comfortable posting a picture of it. Instead, I was truly inspired by this beautiful necklace I spied on Etsy. I love love love leaves and fronds and small flowers, so this piece really caught my eye.

I decide to use Cheeky Nurse for this card and bring in the flower and frond elements. I also really wanted to draw attention to the hint of red/orange on the necklace, so I used black and white and then added just a little bit of the color. Then I heat embossed the fronds with shimmer and tried my very best to show a few pictures of that sparkle! And last, I really wanted to have this card look aged/distressed and that's why I also stamped Cheeky Nurse on the patterned paper (it's not dirt!). LOL.
And that's my bewjeweled and bedazzled jewelry inspired card!
I hope you will join in on the fun over at the Farm too! Have a great weekend!

Wicked Cool

Hello, Friends!
The weekend is nearly here and I couldn't be happier! How about you? I'm excited to chill and get to spend some time hanging out with friends--watching the LOST finale together!! I hope the writers don't leave us hanging! LOL. Did anyone got to the theater last night to watch the New York Times LOST special?

My card today is for the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm AND (surprise surprise) it's another WILD SPROUT! Yay! I just can't get enough of these cuties...and I hope you're enjoying them too!! This is Jade and she's the little rocker chick! aka CUTIE PIE! :)
I've colored her up with Copics and plopped her into a fabulous sketch layout provided this week by Mrs. Mary Giles! Such a fun sketch! If you look closely, I was trying to emulate one of the elements of Mary's sketch, so I crumped up the panel of star paper to try and give it that distressed look. It worked really nicely with the thickness of the October Afternoon paper...kinda made it look leathery.
And that's my card! Thanks for stopping by to take a peek and I hope you'll join us for this week's challenge. Have a great weekend!

I'm not sure if you know this yet, but it's quite the exciting day over at The Greeting Farm because the Farmers AND the Critter Crew both have BRAND NEW IMAGES to preview! AND AND AND there are 3 new members of the Critter Crew team!! Congratulations, Girlies and welcome to the FARM! Please stop by their blogs and give a warm welcome and congrats to
Amber

And Jen!
Not only are there fun previews and new designers, but of course, there's also a Farm Fresh Friday challenge!!
Today's challenge is a color challenge from our awesome Creative Coordinator, Jessica and you're going to LOVE it...it might even make you think of "love" too with these fun and flirty colors. :) Or it might just make you think of Neapolitan ice cream, like it did for me! YUMMM!

For my card I've used Chibi Flute, one of the new Musical Chibis designed by artist Jessica Hymas. If you pop on over to the TGF blog you'll see there's a whole band---flutes, drums, a guitar, a trumpet and a violin! Super cute and perfect for sending cards to the budding musicians we know!
These acoustic-cuties will be released along with the highly anticipated ROLL CALL set---the ultimate ARMY of SPROUTS, as well as the SUPER cute and cuddly critters by Marina Neira!

Have a fabulous weekend and happy stamping! I can't WAIT to see what you create!!

Grandma's Hugs

When I think of my Grandmas growing up...I instantly think of hugs, lots of hugs! There's nothing like hugs from Grandma. :)
Happy Friday, Friends!
My card for your today comes care of The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. This week Farmer Cindy has given us another fantastic sketch to work with and you can check it out HERE on the TGF blog.
For my card today I've used the new Grandparents set from TGF (they are affectionately called Flo and Joe). I just get a kick out of these two every time I see them. They're so cute and I just want to pinch their cheeks. LOL.
If you'd like to win the grandparents set, play along with us this week by taking the FFF Challenge! I'll see you back here on Monday. Have a Great weekend!

Thursday for Friday

Are you thoroughly confused by my title? Remember the Creepers that Marie gave us a sneak peek of on the TGF blog a short while ago? Well, one of them is going to be released on May 1st and her name is Thursday!! I'm so so excited about these stamps (well, let's face it, I'm always excited about the new stamps) because they are sooooo cool, fresh, hip, and a change of pace, ya know?
So with that said, I'll also say Happy Friday!!

For this week's TGF Farm Fresh Friday the challenge is to use the above picture as inspiration. I'd say that's quite the boudoir! I think four poster beds are so elegant. I hope you'll be inspired by this pic too and join us for the challenge this week.
Be sure to stop by The Greeting Farm blog and check out the AMAZING samples by all the DT!
AND tomorrow is Release Day so please check back to see another sneakie peek. :)
See ya!

♥ the Earth

Hello, Friends!
Thanks for joining me on this Fine Friday! I'm back with another Farm Fresh Friday challenge from The Greeting Farm. And this week the challenge is "Going Green" in honor of Earth Day. That means you can use green literally, use recycled product, use live foliage, haha, whatever Green means to you!
For my card I'm celebrating Anya's inner environmentalist by using the color green, using one of the billion coffee sleeves from Starbucks I have saved and by showing that Anya loves being "green" just as much as anyone--she's sporting her I ♥ My Prius t-shirt. LOL! As I was making this card my husband came up to me and said, "wow, they really DO make a stamp for everything." I just laughed and then replied, "no, silly, I changed Stamping Anya's shirt to say that." haha
I hope you'll play along with us for this fun and environmentally friendly challenge. :)
Have a great weekend!
OH and before I go...WINNERS for my blog candy will be announced on MONDAY!! The response has been HUGE and I want to thank Everyone SO MUCH!

Using the Sketch Literally

Hello Everyone!
First off I just wanted to say how exciting it is that I'm meeting new people through the blog candy I'm offering. I truly appreciate all the comments and read them all. And while it's harder for me to visit every blog from the Candy drawing, I will try and visit all of you who leave comments on my cards. Thank you SO much!

AND now...for today's card!! It's Friday, so that means it's another Farm Fresh Friday challenge over at The Greeting Farm! Every Friday there is a challenge for customers to play in (and possibly win a prize). Some weeks it's a color challenge, some week's an inspiration or a theme and sometimes, like today, it's a FUN Sketch challenge!!
This week Farmer Mary has provided us with the sketch and if you've been over at the TGF blog already this morning and spied all the DT samples, then you'll notice that I literally USED this sketch! LOL! I just couldn't resist because Mary did such a fabulous job of shading the different elements in beautiful earth tones. I couldn't help but be inspired!
Wild Sprout DeeDee is the featured stamp on my card and my absolute favorite part of her to color is her HAIR! Such fun hair. Her outfit is adorable too! Okay, she's just plain ADORABLE altogether.

I do apologize for the lighting. My good camera is at work and for some reason I have a harder time with the lighting at my house than at work. So for that reason it may be harder to read the sentiment "hugs," which is from the O&A Buddies set (also TGF). There are a few more pics that I've added below. One shows that I layered up the sketch to give it dimension and add the stitching and another is a little bit clearer sentiment. :)

And that's what's going on over here on this FAB Friday!
I hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

Spring Cleaning

Hi Friends! It's Friday again!

We're cleaning house for today's Farm Fresh Friday by doing some Spring Cleaning with our stamping supplies! Some of us have gone through our stashes and found things we forgot that we had and others have combed through and revived what otherwise would have been on it's way to the trash bin.
For my card I have done both! I dug through my drawer and found a 6x6 pad of Earth Love paper that I'd never dug into (I'll admit...I was hoarding) and then I went through my scraps to find pieces that I normally would have thrown out because they were too small.
I also couldn't help but use the Hope and Grace Laundry stamp because it just seemed so fitting for 'spring cleaning'!
For my layout I got the inspiration for the laundry line from a sweet card made by Kristina Werner in which she used paper scraps for flags.
I hope you will play along with us over at TGF and discover what's hiding in your stash! Be sure to check out the fabulous creations by all The Greeting Farm's DT!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Deets:
Stamps: The Greeting Farm HG Laundry, Fly Away sentiment
Paper: Cosmo Cricket Earth Love, Papertrey Ink Bitty Box Basics and Blossoms, Certainly Celery, Groovy Guava, Kraft

You're Super Amazing!

Wowsers, it's Friday again!! Time certainly flies when you're having fun stamping **big grin**
And let's see...Friday means another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge with The Greeting Farm! Hooray!
And since this is Release Week over at TGF, I get to use another cutie patootie April stamp! This is Wild Sprout Eric...and when lil Eric uses his blankie as a cape---he becomes a SUPER HERO!! I can relate...magically things happen when I put on my blankie-cape too! :)

This week's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge is to use an uber FUN sketch designed for us by the lovely, Cindy Haffner! Thanks, Cindy! I really love the circle with the squares behind it for this sketch. I don't know why but I really enjoy differing shapes playing off one another. So fun! I hope you'll play along!!
