I made this card using a wood mounted sentiment stamp I picked up from Impress and paired it with patterned papers from MME and flower from Prima.

Pastel Inspired

I'm back with today's challenge #248 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's time for a COLOR CHALLENGE. All you have to do is create a card or project using YOUR FAVORITE PASTEL COLORS and submit it to the link on the TPE BLOG.

I'm not usually a big fan of pastel colors, but I love turquoise of any shade and think it goes great with everything! For my card today I've used papers from Authentique, sequins from Doodlebug, ribbon from SU, sentiment from Amuse Studio and Puddle Jumper Melody stamp new from By LORi Designs.

BLD Blog Hop

TPE Watercolor

Hi Friends!
Happy Monday!

I'm back with today's challenge #247 over at The Pink Elephant and this week it's time for a TECHNIQUE CHALLENGE. All you have to do is create a card or project using the WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE and submit it to the link on the TPE BLOG.

I pulled out my old Stampin' Up watercolor crayons and aqua pen for this one. It's actually been years since I've used them, but believe it or not, before I owned Copics I made all my cards using either SU watercolor crayons or SU markers. Still a wonderful technique and lovely results, but a little more time consuming.

The stamp and sentiment I've used are from PTI Friendship Jar fillers and the paper is Basic Grey Origins. I also decided to use a few sequins in the center of each flower to give this card some fun texture!
