A Twisted Tea

Hello and welcome to The Greetings Farm's Tea Times Three Release Party!
This is the last tea of the day and definitely MOST TWISTED of the THREE Tea Parties today, all leading up to the release at MIDNIGHT CST (3/1)!!!

Please sit back, have a sip, and savor the cuteness, because it's time for TWISTED TEA with Ebony, Camille, and our three new CREEPY CAKE digis, "Royal Pain", "Twisted Tea", and "Freaky Flutter"!

We are so excited about this release, and as the hours go by, the tea has definitely become more twisted! Perhaps our manners were checked at the door, and our pinky fingers not exactly the portraits of perfection, but nevertheless we are HERE and freakishly happy to introduce you to our latest rubber AND digi friends...Twisted, Twilight-ish, and Terrific!

For my card I've used Miss "Twisted Tea" herself from the Creepy Cakes Collection and she's dropping by with Birthday Wishes.

Our Twisted Tea friends will probably be partying well into the wee hours, but have no fear, they'll be released at the stroke of MIDNIGHT CST tonight! But in the meantime, head over to the TGF Blog and follow the simple, civilized instructions to enter to WIN the new "Creepy Cakes" digis from The Greeting Farm! You'll have until 9am CST tomorrow (Monday, 3/1) to enter to WIN, and be sure to stop by the Club Anya and Friends Blog tomorrow morning for ANOTHER chance to WIN FREE STAMPS!

All winners will be announced shortly after 9AM CST on Monday morning, and each tea party has a winner, so don't forget to throw your MAD HAT in the ring.

Thanks so much for joining us for our "Tea Times Three" release event! Pinkie's up, everyone!

Heartfelt Thanks

Good Morning!
How was your Tuesday evening? Did anyone watch Lost? I started watching it a couple years ago (when I could watch all the episodes at one time) and I just don't know about this season...either watching it one Tuesday at a time is messing with me, I truly am just "lost" or they are going to have to work to tie up lots of loose ends. Okay, that's enough about that (I tried hard not to give anything away)...on with today's card!

My card today features Hero Ian. I was SUPER excited to see that The Greeting Farm was bringing him back and making him available as a single rubber stamp! I have loved this stamp from the moment he was first shown on the TGF blog. In fact, when he was first available it was through a pre-release that Marie was so generously offering to wives, mothers, sisters, brothers and other immediate family of our active military. Thanks to Marie I was able to get this awesome stamp and honor my little brother who was serving in the Navy. What a blessing!

So I'm back with a new Hero card and this time giving a shout out to All our Heroes! Without them and their service to be our protectors and our peacemakers we probably wouldn't get to enjoy things like the awesome Olympic games that are happening right now. And in thinking about our military and lifting them up, I pray too that all our troops would be able to come home very soon.

Hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Eggstra Special

Hello My Friends!

I'm so sorry for my absence but I was off on a very fun and restful getaway with my Sweetie. It was just what I needed! And thanks to all who left me sweet sweet birthday messages...you totally made my day!!

I have a card for you today, as promised! I have had this adorable Easter Anya colored up for ages, with an inkling of an idea in my mind for her card. AND as I was piecing this all together I realized that the OH, ALICE challenge for this week (the very FIRST challenge) was providing me with that last bit of inspiration I needed to finish this card! Have you seen the Oh, Alice challenge blog yet? You've got to HOP over there right now and check out the AMAZING creations done by the DT!! Amazing! The color palette of my card may be needing a little bit edgier, distressed look as far as colors go but as soon as I saw makeup kit--I saw circles of color and Easter Bunny Anya hopping about! Too fun! Easter Anya is currently available at The Greeting Farm--now in rubber!

And that's all for me today...but it's nearing the time for another TGF release...so stay tuned for sneaks very soon!!

I'm back with another fun Farm Fresh Friday in February and this week is a COLOR challenge! All you have to do is use these three colors or as close as you can get, plus one TGF image and you've got yourself a challenge entry! How's that for fun!?! Oh you want more? Well, of course there's a prize up for grabs for one lucky person too, as in all FFF challenges!

For my card today I used the Sweet Tooth Critter set and the 3 magic colors Guava, Kraft and Chocolate--which by the way is one of my all-time favorite color combos! I hope you'll play along this week and join in the fun!
And that's all for me today but I'll be back on Tuesday (Monday is a very special day and I'll be out of town!) with another card. Until then, have a GREAT weekend!

FaithBook Scrapbook Club Month 2

Happy Monday the 15th!
Today is the day that the FaithBook Scrapbook Club c/o The Sisterhood of the Traveling Cards swap, displays our monthly scrap pages! Last month was our first month and it was a smashing hit...so, onto round two!

This month's theme for our page was to be inspired by the touching story of how St. Valentine came to be and/or to incorporate Galatians 5:22-23 into our project. The picture I chose to use for my page may actually look quite familiar to some of you, as it's the one I've used as my avatar on SCS for a long long time. It's from a day that Josh I went up North and visited the Tulip Festival. Every year when the tulips bloom, they are all you can see for miles and miles. It's really quite breath taking. There are so many beautiful things of this earth worth experiencing that are more and more frequently getting chopped up, cut down or buldozed to build more real estate. **sigh** I'm so thankful for the beauty, tranquility and JOY of these tulips!

Our beloved hostess for this month is Judy and here is a piece of what she shared for this month's theme:My favorite Bible verses are from Galatians where Paul urges Christians to serve one another in love, that the entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” He then urges us to live by the Spirit so wonderfully set forth in Galatians 5:22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Judy, then encouraged us to be inspired by the story of compassion and care in that of St. Valentine and little Julia...
Thanks, Judy!!

**Just as last month, I used Scrapblog to create my DIGITAL scrap page. Check out Scrapblog HERE!

My Cheeky Valentine

Hello and welcome to the Cheeky Cherry collection "My Cheeky Valentine" Blog HOP!!!!!!!!!
You're in for a real treat because tonight's hop showcases cards from TGF Gardeners, Farmers and Club Anya DT past and present!
As you might have guessed, these adorable Cheeky stamps were a huge hit when they were debuted at CHA and tonight at midnight CST you can make them yours as well!!
AND of course what would be a hop without chances to win these cuties, so be sure to start the HOP on the CA & Blog and follow the Cheeky Trail!!

My card for you is one that I created for CHA, and for it I used Cheeky Glamour to create kind of a Hollywood dressing room scene. This cutie is getting ready to see her man after a show! I also decided to do a creative fold for it as well to change things up a bit! And you can't see it very well but her nylons are coated in a very sheer clear spica---for that bit of sparkle!
Since it's Valentine's Day today I can't think of a better stamp to say---Hey Sweetie, To My Darling or...Hubba Hubba!!

Thanks so much for joining us tonight! Enjoy the HOP and set your clocks because the Cheeky Cherry Girls will be available in the store Tonight at Midnight CST!!!
Your next stop is FARMER KIM

Gettin' Cheeky With It

Hello, Friends!!
It's another fabuloso Farm Fresh Friday and I made certain to set my card up for auto-post so that I wouldn't have a replay of Wed's problem child! :)

Today we're going for round 2 of Cheeky Cherry Sneaks and this time FFF style. Our challenge hostess this week is the talented Randi Wall and she has inspired us to go Vintage! Some of us are vintage grunge, some are vintage shabby chic, some are vintage victorian and so on. What's your vintage style...old, torn, distressed, aged, tea-stained, sepia, lacey, frilly? Whatever 'vintage' inspires you!

Mine may be Vintage Romance or may be Vintage Shabby Chic...I've used Cheeky Rockabilly to create a Vintage postcard scene. This cutie is going "par avion" to someone special! One of my favorite tools (besides my very worn out piercing tool) is my paper distresser, which I've used for this card. My mind always goes toward distressing when I think vintage. What a fun challenge!

I hope you will play along with us this week and don't forget that our blog hop is on Sunday night and then the Cheeky Cherry Girls will be available in the store on Monday!!!

Something Cheeky Going On!

I am SOOOOO SOOOOO sorry for my delay today. Ever heard the quote, "I literally repel technology"? Well, that's me ALL THE WAY! Of course none of the internet issues I've been experiencing have been my fault but I still feel like it's me! LOL! I have not been able to get on blogger for 24 hours and it's been killing me!! What did we ever do without the internet???

Okay, on with the show! I have been SOOOOOOO excited about this new line for TGF and waiting oh-so patiently (very impatiently the last 24 hrs though) to share my sneaky peek of Cheeky Shooter with you today!
I had A TON of fun with this card and trying to figure out how I wanted to create a movin'-gunslingin' action. And you can see from the pics that this lil cowgirl can move up and down the card! So much fun! I can't wait to post cards with the other cuties in the line. BUT I know where you can see them, because all the TGF and CA&F gals are showcasing them today and here are the deets:

You've seen the photos in the background of CHA .....you've heard some 'buzz' about Blogland...and NOW...a little sneak peek for you today. A little TEASE if you will...or maybe-a BIG tease? Either way, it's ALL leading up to a SPECIAL VALENTINE's DAY BLOG HOP that you will NOT want to miss!!!
A new line of Sprouts is coming to The Greeting Farm and the anticipation is at an all-time high....can you FEEL it in the air? We are TOTALLY psyched about this special release and can't wait to introduce you to "ROCKABILLY", "SHOOTER", and "GLAMOUR"... the first in our CHA Exclusive "CHEEKY CHERRY" release that will FINALLY be available to YOU on 2/15...
The little Miss Cherry herself will be hanging out this week for Farm Fresh Friday with another appearance, so be sure to stay tuned for that! For now, make sure you visit the DT's blogs to get a little more than a peek of these sassy, "cheeky" new releases coming SOON!
What's MORE????
ONE OF OUR DT MEMBERS has a PRIZE for you....and if you've left a comment on that DT member's blog before 8pm CST tonight, your name just MIGHT be drawn to WIN ALL THREE CHEEKY CHERRY STAMPS!
The DT members don't even know who's blog we chose to hide this prize on, except the ONE DT member who has it....so GET OVER to their blogs and not ONLY can you see the FULL REVEALS of their cards, ONE LUCKY WINNER is going to take home ALL THREE of these releases!
Be sure to start at the TGF blog and click on all the links to see who's blog you go to, then LEAVE A COMMENT on all the DT's blogs! GOOD LUCK!

Your Day

Someone's gettin older...darn it!

Last month's Sisterhood of the Traveling Card Swap theme (SCS), hosted by the beautiful Michelle, was to take inspiration from our birth month (zodiac, gemstone, flower, etc) and create a card that celebrated the wonderful month that each of us was born!
My birthday is in the month of---da dun da--FEBRUARY! LOL!
So for my card I chose to go with the color purple to represent my gemstone--amethyst.
I also used my Susie Surprise stamp from TGF because I've been told that she kinda looks like me (in my skinnier days). And voila, a card to represent me (and of course, I HAD to include my favorite embellishment BUTTONS)!
It's been a while since Susie saw some ink, so I'm glad that I got to make this card and send it out to my sistahs. :)
See you back here tomorrow for something super cool for TGF!!

Avoid Traffic

...by flying!
I wish! :)

Good Morning! Did you have a good weekend? Who watched the Superbowl? Did you like any of the commericials? I'm bummed that I missed the Betty White one...I'll have to go online and see it. I love Betty White. LOL!

Okay, on to my card for today! On Friday the wait was over for my much anticipated stash of brand new Cosmo Cricket papers!! Yipee!! And as I was looking at them all I realized that Amazing Duo Ian was going to be perfect for this Joy Ride paper!! I have to agree with Dan Bellack that "life is too short for traffic"---if only we all had the ability to fly like Amazing Duo Anya and Ian!! It would probably do wonders for minimizing our carbon footprint, eh? :)

This new set is currently available in The Greeting Farm store! AND stayed tuned this week because there is going to be something super sweet going on at TGF and you won't want to miss it!
See you tomorrow!

February Farm Fresh Friday

I LOVE the month of February (for reasons that shall go without saying :)
So, since I love this month, you can imagine how excited I am to post my first Farm Fresh Friday card of February! Yay!

Haha. Okay, enough silliness...the FFF challenge at The Greeting Farm this week is to use the fun sketch provided by the Fabulous Mercy Kerin!
For my card I decided to use Maggie Cleaning, one of the new Marina Neira digi's to pair with Mercy's sketch.

One of the reasons I sooooo love FFF is because it gives me a starting point for my card and if you've heard me talk about struggling with layout ideas before, you know how much I enjoy having a starting point to bait my mojo!
I hope that you will play along in this week's challenge and be sure to check out all of TGF's DT for some awesome inspiration!
