Super Mom

I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!

I decided to get inky last night because I wanted to play along with this week's SHAPED CARD challenge over on the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog.
Normally, shaped cards scare me a bit, but I got out my largest Nestie and decided to give it a whirl--and I'm diggin the result!

For my card I used Marvelous Mom from the Moonlight Whisper line over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and colored her up with Copic markers. I paired this "super Mom" with papers from Cosmo Cricket Social Club, ribbon from Amuse Studio and button from Basic Grey.

It's a mechanical fairy and mermaid paper doll set and it is oh-so-cute!!

For my card I've used another stamp from the Moonlight Whisper line at Kraftin Kimmie stamps, called Julie. Love her! The set also includes this fun sentiment too. I've colored Julie up in Copics and paired her with papers from Little Yellow Bicycle, ribbon from Stampin Up, button and brads from AC Elements.

And I've even added a bit Diamond Stickles to make her prezzies, hat and cake sparkle to fit both this week's "anything goes" challenge and the Guest Designer contest over at the Kraftin Kimmie blog!

It's the 15th of the month, which means it's time for another Duel!

This month our hostess for the Divas is Carol and Melina for the Dazzlers. And they chose a super fun summer theme of popsicles and flip flops!

Carol sent the yummiest of kits and I had the hardest time narrowing my choices down for this one card! I will for sure use the rest of it for a few more cards. And it was super fun to ink up some TGF again! Thank you, Carol!

For this week I've used the hen and colored her up with Copics. I've paired this image with papers from Echo Park and used Webster's Pages feathers as my element from nature. There's a bit of burlap hiding in there too. The sentiment is from Amy R for All That Scraps.

I'm here to share my Unidentified card with you for the month of June! This month our hostess was the beautiful, Paola and she chose for us to work with this adorable image from Whipper Snapper--sure to cheer up anyone under the weather!

I can't help but reminisce when I see this image because both Paola and Carol were at my house making preparations for this one! Miss you, Lovelies!

For my card I've paired the immie with papers and button from Basic Grey Nook and Pantry, twine from May Arts and dotted the little chicks eyes with black gel pen.
