Thanks For The Lift

Hi Friends!

I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!
I thought I'd pop in today with another card that I've been hoarding. :)

I made this card a few months back for the swap group I'm in. The theme for that particular month (hosted by my FABulous friend, Lorie) was 'things that fly' or 'things you can find in the sky'---such a fun theme. So, when I started to think about it, I was totally inspired by this lovely set from There She Goes stamps.

I decided to go real CAS and just paired the image with a touch of patterned paper (My Mind's Eye,  Kraft Funday-Bright Days), bit of baker's twine (MME Lime Twist), wooden button (Kaisercraft) and sentiment from PTI. And then for a bit more dimension, the hot air balloon is popped up off the scene.

I don't often say this about my cards, but I love how this one turned out!
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope it's a beautiful day in your neck of the woods!

You're Timeless

Hiya! Happy Monday to you!

I'm back with another challenge for The Pink Elephant! This week's challenge 154 is to use the sketch below for your card or project!

For my card I've used this sweet Angel Kaylee image from Some Odd Girl. I gave her some rockin purple hair (colored in Copics) to go with the nontraditional hair challenge they were having last week over on the SOG FB page. Kaylee is paired with papers from My Mind's Eye, Penny Lane, buttons from SU bold brights and chipboard sentiment from Studio G.

Love Love Love You

Hello, Friends! I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!
It's Deconstructed Sketch time again and we've got another Fabulous one for you this week!

For my card I haven't used any stamps! Can you believe it?? I was looking through my papers and decided to use this super fun Echo Park Playground paper. I was playing around with it and this Fabulous sketch lent itself to make such a fun card with just the paper alone! I also decided to add just a bit of stitching and a button from Basic Grey Lime Rickey for a bit of texture. And that's my card!

I hope that you will join us this week for sketch 57! And be sure to visit all the Sketch Girls to see how they've used this week's sketch. Have a great day!

Ba Donkey Donk

Hi Friends!
How are you on this fine Tuesday?

I wanted to pop in and share a card with you that I was commissioned to make recently. Even though it's pretty simple, I had a ton of fun making it and got a good case of the giggles too. :)

For this card I used a stamp set from There She Goes, called Ba Donkey Donk. I then took my score pal and squared off a border for donkey, colored him up with copics and then added an additional border of stitching for a little more texture. Oh and I used ran some crystal effects over donkey's eyes to gloss them over. The sentiments are 2 different ones from this set, as well as "happy birthday" from an SU set.

I hope this card gives you a little giggle too. :) Have a wonderful day!

If Mamma Ain't Happy

Hi Friends! Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to pop in and share a little card that I made for a new friend of mine, who shared that The Greeting Farm's Creeper Wednesday was her favorite of those FUN Creeper Crew stamps!

I paired Creeper Wednesday with papers from (none other than) My Mind's Eye, melon ribbon from PTI, button from Making Memories and sentiment from There She Goes, Domestic Goddess.

I had so much fun making this card. It seems that whenever I pull out one of these cuties and get him or her inked up, I can't help but be inspired!

Thanks for stopping by and have a winderful day!!
