Matt 22:37

Hellooooooooooo and HAPPY MAY DAY!

I'm running a bit behind this week, but as promised I have a card for you with combined challenges--The Pink Elephant's WASHI TAPE challenge, as well as, my Crafter's of Faith card for April's FLOWER theme.

Here is what April had to say about her challenge this month:

I spent my childhood being called April Showers or even April Flowers.It would probably be called bullying nowadays, but I seemed to take it all in stride. Because of this moniker, I wanted to highlight a verse which is about Spring. I think this one is apropos!

Leviticus 26:4 - Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Although my verse does not say flowers explicitly, a plant must flowers before it bears fruit. I would love your card this month to show off flower --- stamps, die cuts, crocheted, etc! {If you want, you can add rain, but that isn't a necessity.}

Have fun with this verse and the glorious Spring Season!

For my card I went a little easy on the flowers, I know, but I was trying to think outside the box. I do LOVE flowers and I also LOVE COLORING flowers, but I really wanted my focal point to be on this verse from Matthew that I love so much. I also wanted the WASHI to be prominent, so I used that in lieu of a patterned paper for the background.
The Washi is from Impress, the verse stamp is from Our Daily Bread and the flower is from Kaisercraft.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure and visit all of the other beautiful Crafter's of Faith (listed on my side bar) and leave them some love!

Look at you making Washi look good! I love the stark blue with the newspaper feel. Washi looks like tape when I use it! LOL

Great verse and your way of showing it off is perfect!
